Gears of Madness Don Rivera Metal axe player Michael Angelo Batio is fast he is fast as a fart i don't like to think about the fastest guitar player... why?.... being fast isn't everything.... i'd rather discuss about the cleanest or the most creative... Which Batio could also take a lot of credit for. so you are saying that batio is clean and creative?.... that my friend is not true... maybe you don't know many guitar players....

that is easy to play in the 1st place. i can play that with my eyes closed and my d**k sucked razz
angus young is good but back then he was way better.
eric clapton is leader tho

slaytalera Dont forget that his guitars were painted by Micheal Angelo...not the guitar n00b, the guy who painted jesus on that ceiling. and that his guitar tech yngwie malmsteen gave him a book of Swedish meat ball and cheese cake recipes but seriously ii think either Micheal Angleo Batio or Rusty Cooley are the fastest hands down...and the guy who said kirk hammet needs to get out more neutral Rusty Cooley = Godly! O_O

I have no idea who like the fastest is... Herman Li is kinda fast, but like Matt Heafy from Trivium can play basically just as fast as Herman.

Muddy Waters wasn't majorly creative. He was good but pretty simple and plain.
As for ACDC, you could learn thunderstruck after playing for a month. rolleyes

it's a tie between Michael angelo Batio and Paul gilbert. but paul gilbert gets disqualified because he uses a drill with three picks stuck on the bit.
i love him, he's my hero, but he cheats :/

I Eat Babies All The Time I have no idea who like the fastest is... Herman Li is kinda fast, but like Matt Heafy from Trivium can play basically just as fast as Herman. as much of a Trivium fanboy as i am ( I really big one, they're to me what metallica is to them)
herman li is about 300 times faster than heafy. and Matt can't sweep. he only knows two sweep patterns, and he's not very quick with them, or they end up sounding very sloppy.

Slash anyone? He doesn't sound fast, but if you asked him to play the fastest song herman li can play Slash would do it the same speed with his eyes closed.

Batio is one of the cleanest shredders I've ever heard. Ontop of that he's fused jazz theory with heavy metal in a way that doesn't completely suck. Who do you like when it comes to playing clean and being creative?
