Tara's was the worst. I'm still sad about it. Probably because I was very emotionally invested in the Tillow relationship.

Buffy:
Anya, Tara, Joyce-- SPIKE! crying (but of course as everyone keeps saying he was brought back in Angel -- and added such a funny bone to the whole series ^_^)

Angel:
I was actually VERY upset that Doyle died (I was oblivious of all the circumstances with the actor and didn't know that Glenn was gone too until only a year or so ago! I'm not up on celeb gossip)
Fred-- she became one of the best characters, Illyria but-- I miss Fred cry

I think the writers were very good at making each death really upsetting and sad. Even when certain potentials died in the Vineyard, there was the whole helplessness of them and that Caleb kind of gave them a second to know they were about to die.

Also, Anya was a really upsetting death. She was my favourite charcter. I would have much rather seen Kennedy die. stare

And even though Xander did not die, it was very sad when he lost his eye. Possibly also with the helplessness of it and the fact that Caleb gave him a little speach before hand. crying

Fred's death was horribly sad and the fact that Glen Quinn actually died in real life made me sad too. sad

Anya's death was horrible, I didn't know she was gonna die...It really shocked me, but if Tara's death was emotionnal too, the worst death was Buffy's at the end of season 5.I cried and sometimes I still do when I watch that episode... crying

HO-MY-GOD JOYCE. I cry every single time I watch The Body. Saddest death.

Some of the deaths that effected me the most were in The Wish, when they're all in alternate universe-land. Like Buffy dying at the hands of the Master, Oz kills Vamp-Willow stuff like that.

Jenny, oh my. Sad sad death.

Doyle is the only death that ranked equal to Joyce with me. I was so freaking sad when Doyle bit it.

And of course Anya and Spike. I was very, needless to say, upset.

Ya, Buffy's death was pretty sad even though I knew she was going to come back.

Joyce made me sad, just because 'The Body' was such a powerful episode, and you knew that nothing could save Joyce

It wasn't supernatural, or something you could protect her from, and I think that made it harder on some people

...in what alternate universe were they 'great' together. They were barely even together...and his death wasn't so sad concidering he was...well..dead and doing a good thing...

I think I said it before but:
Tara...because her death was so sudden and pointless...(I mean it set off a three episode arc but that's it...)
