I'm a sophomore in highschool, but I don't hate them.
The key to having people not hate you or piss you off is to let go of anger. You're letting them piss you off. Just live and let live.

I've been a social reject for a lot of my life for all of the stereotypes at school, so trust me on this one.

WHOA!
For B.Y.O.B, it has somethin to do with religion as well. In Exodus chapter 32, it was talking about the escaped-slaves party, "having a good time." I was in church like, eek mrgreen "I get it!"
It explains the Mose's mouth part

Boxcutter Mezmerize is a very powerful album, and I've found through articles and interviews that it's a personal release of feelings for the band, not to mention a very strong political attire to the album. My ViewsSoldier Side/Intro: In life, we pretty much have a war with ourselves about how we feel and how we deal with everyday problems. BYOB: Great song with a great message. I read in Rolling Stones that Daron wrote BYOB as an ode to his grandparents who live in Iraq, and how they wouldn't move out of the country despite the numerous problems. Being anti-Bush (sorry, I have my reasons), this song speaks to me about the political problems of America. Revenga: People you thought were friends end up back-stabbing you. I can relate. Cigaro: People with "big jobs" have big egos. Radio/Video: Also in RS, Daron said Danny and Lisa were long-time friends who disappeared. This Cocaine...: I can't really find a deep meaning which is fine; soem songs are meant to be random. Violent Pornography: The media is a frenzy of lies and gossip; "the kind of s**t you get on your TV." Sad Statue: Rebellious youth who don't agree with society's values. Old School Hollywood: A celebrity baseball game that Serj played in (also from RS). Lost in Hollywood: Another media-gone-wrong song... be happy with what you have. just curious... does anyone know what article this is?? (im too lazy to look through them all @__@)

i think that Revenga is about this kinda crazy guy who's willing to kill people for his girlfriend who have wronged her, and she just has to tell him when 'my sweet revenge will be yours for the taking its in the making baby' but then she realized that he was a crazy psychopath and laughed at him and told him to 'go away'. then at the end its kinda like hes calling her the 'ho' now and he could kill her but he still loves her 'my sweet Clementine/HO/shoulda been coulda been woulda been woulda been you'.

Or it could be a man who has been deeply hurt by some girl, AKA Clementine, like, she never took him seriously enough, and she thought of him, he felt, like a pet...
Does anyone notice the faint screaming Serj does in that song?

Lost in Hollywood...just all the fake people getting around in Hollywood, I heard that somewhere....

i love this group and these threads, u learn so much lol. goin back to topic lol. I think Question is talking about how the afterlife works. maybe im the only one who thinks this but with the lyrics 'do we, do we know, when we fly, when we, when we go, do we die?' it kind of makes me think that hes talking about when u die do u really know it because you will be in an afterlife somewhere else, and your not sure if your still alive or dead. just myu thoughts on it
