OK...I didn't much like #6, with the old guy who is willing to be a monster to live a long time. How the heck did he gather enough MASS to grow into that huge thing--and then get rid of it to become Human again?? rolleyes
#7 is a wildly chaotic scramble loaded with horrible science, but DT's acting is great & that moment when the Doctor is scared stiff is really cool!
#8 is OK. I don't remember it being that great a book.
It seems like as DT's performance is growing stronger, the stories are growing weaker overall. The only one so far this season with a good, solid story has been Gridlock. The rest have been...more like a season loaded with "Horns of the Nimon" & the like. rolleyes

Nah, you should try to catch the repeats whenever they come along--something's going on. There's some guy who keeps turning up, he poisons Martha's Mom against the Doctor & is using her trying to keep track of the Doctor. The speculation on who this man may be...! I'd say there will be an answer by the end of this season. But the Face of Boe DID say....YOU ARE NOT ALONE. mrgreen
And the Confidential for Gridlock suggested that there were "revelations coming. TERRIBLE revelations." So, best to keep up with it all, I say! 3nodding

This guy might be the head time-lord. Maybe he saw his race about to die, and activated his own time device to get out of the way, then went into hiding, while the Doctor, with a guilty feeling, tried to better the Universe?

Last I heard, the President was Romana.
There's another, sinister possibility, of course. (hehehehehehehehhh...)
In the same Confidential however, they said that the Face of Boe was not wrong...and neither was the Doctor wrong when he always says he can't sense any other Time Lords & they are gone. question question question
