My first deck was this crappy tribal dragon deck with any dragon I could get my hands on with mana flare....but now I'm trying to remake that deck to be much faster and much more powerful...here is my plan
Mono-red tribal dragon deck
4 Tarox Bladewing 4 Dragon Tyrant 4 Imperial Hellkite 4 Kilnmouth Dragon 4 Rorix Bladewing 4 Dragonspeaker Shaman
4 Sol Ring 4 Seething Song 4 Thran Dynamo
4 Ancient Tomb 20 Mountain

wellwisher first deck? a random assortment of cards from all five colors. surprisingly it wasn't that bad for a first deck, nor was it that bad for a five color deck. each color did it's own thing.... uh... Green had all cards costing 4 or less, with rampant growth and Quirion Elves. so, heavy mana acceleration. Black and White were weenie with some lifegain, and a little life drain. Red had a Trained Orgg and a bunch of Burn, and Blue had two counterspells a Vizzerdrix and some weenie wizards. I never won with it, but since i had only 50 non land cards to build my deck out of, i had some patheticaly close games.
My first one was somewhat like that, it was a tournament deck, with two boosters, I mixed it all and got a 90 card mix of artifacts and useless creatures xp

My first deck was a G/B elf/zombie deck. they don't really mix very well. i didn't have many cards at the time (everything i'd gotten at the Scourge pre-release the day before plus a few others a friend gave me) so i wouldn't be surprised if i wasnt playing a single rare. it was under 80 cards though xd

White/Green deck built from cards I got in the 7th ed. Starter Kit, along with some cards from Onslaught booster packs. The first preconstructed deck I got was the Blue/Black Affinity deck from Mirrodin- probably one of my favorites.
I still have that Mirrodin deck, after a few modifications:
10x Island 4x Seat of the Synod 6x Swamp 4x Vault of Whispers
3x Nim Shrieker 3x Irradiate 1x Broodstar 3x Thoughtcast 3x Assert Authority 2x Somber Hoverguard 2x Silver Myr 3x Leaden Myr 2x Cobalt Golem 1x Pewter Golem 4x Myr Enforcer 1x Lodestone Myr 4x Steel Wall 2x Bottle Gnomes 1x Cathodion 3x Aether Spellbomb

The first deck that I really worked on and bought cards for was a White Samurai deck. I remember how nutzo I would get when I dropped Konda or Takeno...good old casual days.
