Kromm stepped over the dead bodies residing in his forest. Kromm walked towards the front gate, arrow drawn. Kromm gavge three swift knocks then loaded the arrow into his bow ready to kill the guardsmen.

Xandra frowned at the mage as a voice wispered in her head. Help? Now? From you? Ha! She bit her lip as the boy spoke. Resurection? His master was a dead man? She had a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. What if she was going to be sacrificed? She took a deep breath and followed the boy.

The guards did not appear at the gate. Instead, twenty soldiers lined along the parapets all stood with notched arrows aimed at the assassin. A harsh man's voice bellowed down to him.
"Drop your weapon and submit to search, criminal, or turn around and go back from whence you came."

A cold and angry grin came across Kromm's face. He turned to look at the soldiers at the Parapets. "I dare you to try." Yelled Kromm to the soldiers. Then from deep in the forest a small number of wood elves appeared from the woods. In their hands bows and on their backs long ropes and little barrels tied to their shoulders.

Xandra slowly scaled the wall from the opposite side of the comotion, using cracks and flaws in the wall to help with her accent. She reached the top and jumped down, landing on the roof of a tall house. She lept onto the house's awning and landed safely on the ground. Feeling very proud after having excaped from the boy, she went to the stables and walked into the stall where NightDancer had returned. "Good girl." She murmered to the mare, mounting her quickly. She rode her quickly out of the stable.
