the people at my school, have ABSOLUTELY BUTCHERED the the peace sign
and the whole hippie scene. heres an example: so i see this older girl walking and she is wereing this pretty sweet peace necklace "oh hey, nice necklace" she turnes around and responds " i really dont care what you think"
i mean wow what a b***h. if your goiing to wear a symbol that expresses love and peace then maybe you should live up to it and not just wear it cuase you liek the idea. tions of them will sya oh i care about the enviornment and the earth when the throw there trash and s**t on the ground. and other s**t. and again half of the kids dont even know that original meaning of the sign. hoever. this is basicall every kid there thinks their all hippie. and peacniks but nope. they just wee it cuase its "cool" it pretty gay.
you know what ive noticed the people too that think that being a hippie is all about just going out and smoking some weed and doing drugs. I mean yes that WAS a big part of being a hippie but not all hippies did drugs 90 percent of them back in the day sure but you don't have to do it. I mean i'm a "drug free" hippie does that make me not a hippie not really. do i still protect the environment and promote peace and love and hug trees listen to psychedelic rock alot and hug trees HELL YEAH! (yes i like to hug trees hence why i said it twice tho i know its initially meant as a metaphor) lol over a year later i find myself finally making this comment in my post lol. Still tho i dont like it when people confuse the message because it was about peace and love! not going out and getting high! Gah!! lol okay thats my rant.
