I rather they just rerelease both I and II for the PS2 untouched, well maybe some translation errors and whatnots. The Suikoden series would probably get a popularity boost if more people could get their hands on it and experience why it such an awesome series.

Demon 0f Elru I'd like to get tlak started again on my personal favorite Suikoden. Question..... Should Suikoden 1 be remade? If so, what would you include and want to see for it? I don't know if it would sell that well, but if it were remade then there would have to be some rehashing on the battle play. Its just very basic and I think needs something more innovative and fun (not saying that the game isn't fun). The graphics obviously too need to be improve and it would be cool if they made the full scale wars like a stragey thing kinda like a tactics game. Although it might turn some people off.

Still my favorite Suikoden game.
Geddoe, I would have long time explained, but I just don't like to as I say the experience is better than reading what it is about.

I think SuikoI is my favorite of them all, closely followed by II. Maybe because I played them all in order.
And to answer the remake question: I don't nescessarily think it should be remade but re-released. I don't think that "ZOMG GOING 2 3-D RUINED TEH SERIES!!!!OMG1" but sprites tend to instill me with more emotion than #D graphics when it comes to Suikoden. Maybe because you can imagine their facial expression and voices yourself.

Personally, I would love a Suikoden 1 remake with S5 graphics.

There was discussion on a remake? I would be all for it. I wouldn't mind seeing more backstory... like what did they do for that whole month? You know, the month that was not shown to us. Someone must've been having sex ninja

I think that would be kind of interesting to see. Kind of like Woodstock only with a lot more naked people and animals.
