(( *squeals * I was gone for a few days and nwo Keifer is grown too :O, damn he's hawt ))
Tierce's ears flickered, theere was water, near, but she couldn't see it.
" There was a small stream down close to where we met, if we could find that water, we'll be able to follow it.", or atleast she hoped.
She trotted towards the sound, eyes, semi-closed in concentration.

Kiefer angled his ears, able to hear the quite trickling of water. He trotted after Tierce, she must have better hearing then he did, he could barely even hear it. As the continued though, he managed to get it, and soon they could see it, there it was, the river. It looked the same. Maybe they were closer then they thought.
"Up river, or down river?" he asked, looking both ways.

" I think the water was always pulling me away from home, so it must be down stream form here....maybe... yeah downstream.", she stated; proud that she was atleast intelligent enough to follow a river home.

"Alright, upstream it is!" he said, trotting happily forward. They would be home soon! Well... Tierce will be. He figured once they got near where she lived, she could direct him to where he could find his way home.

She was already on the move again, folloiwning that river like a pro. She grinned and looked over at Kiefer. " I bet you I can beat you back to our homes !"
She picked up pace a little, to let him catch on, before taking off in a bee-line beside the river.

"Hey! No fair!" he said, taking off after her. He didn't even know where he was going! What ever, he didn't really mind, he was happy to be able to finally play, and be out of those woods.
He ran just behind her, wanting to speed up as soon as he recognized the area. Soon, he did. Yes, this was right near where his house was. He started going faster, but still not pulling ahead quite a lot.

She just kept on going, the scenery started to change a bit, enough to start looking...familiar? She had definitely been down near here at some point, probably adventuring by herself.

Kiefer slowed down a bit. "Wait, who's home are we racing too?" he asked. It occured to him that they lived in different places, and at some point each of them would begin to go different ways. He knew that up ahead he had to turn to the left, completely perpandicular to the stream.
"Maybe we shouldn't race" he said, now at a walk, getting rather confused. Part of him at this point just wanted to get home to his family. After that ordeal, he was begining to miss them.

" I don't know...", she stopped slowing down to a walk now. Her home was further down, probably a mild distance if one gallopped the entire way.
The activity was also starting to pick up, she could catch the scent of other soquili that were off in the distance.
" We should be close to where other homes are..."

Kiefer stopped at the point where he would have to turn, and they would seperate. "Well, I have to turn here" he was sure that she would have to keep going. "I guess I will see you around. We will play again, ok?" he said, not wanting to never see his new friend again, as his father had said often happens.
He waited for her goodbyes, but was really ready to go home now. He wanted to see his mama and papa and sisters very badly.

Tierce felt sad no that they would have to part. She felt she had made another friend but was it likely that they would get to play again, Tierce didn't know.
"Yeah. I'll see you too Kiefer. And if you don't ocme play again I'll beat you up for sure.", she stuck her tongue out at the last part.

"Nuh-uh. A girl couldn't beat me up!" he said jokingly. "And of course I will come and play again!" he said with a smile, before turning and trotting off.
