Shadows.... shadows... some moron actually unleashed shadows around a shadow warrior, a ninja! Steve was grinning like a fool as he stood up, listening to the pad of hooves, pursuing feet. Wing beats...
And voices.
New voices. Ones that weren't be hounded by seagulls, or chasing after him, or being trampled by an ugly horse.
Voices. New people. New targets. New assests.
If one was going to be chased, one might as well make it worth while, no?
Steve stuffed his hands into his pockets and walked out in the darkness cast by Shade. He made no sound as he moved, getting close to those new voices, and avoiding the deranged horse as best he could.

Just in Zayn's line of sight, the faint flicker of silver from the runes upon the pixie's dress could be seen heading towards the ports on the North Easterly outskirts of the Island, it seemed that she was asking no one for directions and was instead fluttering in the general direction of where the Retreat she knew should hav lain - that said however she appeared to be finding it difficult to dodge the angry seagulls and on occasions the infuriated squawk of a gull could be heard as she blew off have it's feathers to remove it from her path.
...She really didn't have too good a temper did she?
Nevertheless, when they would reach the ports they would find a travel store whereby there were a few notes of interest stuck to the window, one of which denoted a two week stay in a Retreat just North East of Gambino!

kalindara "Oh, hello," Zayn looked up and smiled at the familiar voice and face. "What a strange coincidence, to meet up with you again, Mirror. We're looking for Miss Kujin," he explained. Glancing around he asked, "You didn't see her fly this way, did you? We lost sight of her after entering the port..." Stretching, Zayn titled back his head to enjoy the sun while they waited. "We're just waiting for everyone to catch up. What about you? What're you looking for around here?"
Mirror shook his head, "I thought I saw something like her but I couldn't catch a second glimse to confirm my suspisions. As for me being here, I'm still looking for my group. It happens to be that this group hasn't met up yet or has a clue of what's going on..." He said sadly with dissapointment. Suddenly something else caught his eye and he blinked and turned towards the area where Zayn was looking.
"Did you see her?" He asked softly.

Zayn frowned as Mirror related his group's troubles. "That's too bad," he patted Mirror on the shoulder lightly. "I'm sure things will get better for you soon though. These clues seem to spring up out of no where, after all." If fiesty pixies were counted as clues, that was.
The quick flash of silver had also caught Zayn's eyes and he stared in the same direction as Mirror. "I saw something," he nodded. Best to take a chance, right? "I'm sorry to run off on you, but it seems we must be going."
Turning to Hatter and FP, Zayn called out, "We've spotted her, let's go!"
And then he was off again, chasing after Kujin. His progress was slowed by the amount of people in the port, often having to shove his way through groups or clipping others as he rushed past and then having to throw hasty apologies over his shoulder. It wasn't a great surprise, therefore, that he soon lost track of the pixie again and slowed down. Needing a breather, he leaned against the wall of a nearby travel store, resting his head next to the window as he waited for the others...

Mirror smiled and waved to Zayn as he ran off into the crowd, "Goodluck Zayn! Perhaps we'll catch up to you soon!"
He gave a sad sigh and then flew into the air again to wave his arms above them all, trying to get his group's attention. Then, finally, when several heads poked up at him, he motioned towards a pool being over shaded by a tree as a gathering spot.

Turning his head to Zayn's direction, he quickly got up and follow after him excitedly, "Yay! We found her!"
Making his way through the crowd, he tried to keep up with Zayn and Kujin. Somehow he found it difficult as he continued to bump through people and apologize continously. After squeezing and squirming through the crowd, he made it out only to find Zayn leaning against the travel store. Fire decided to rest with Zayn. "So we lost her again huh?" he smiled weakly at Zayn.

Zayn smiled weakly at Fire. "Yeah... sorry," he answered. He gave Solstis the same answer when she arrived. Zayn sighed, feeling like he'd let the others down by not being fast enough.
"I guess it's because she's so small and can get above the crowds," he mumbled. His wings gave a quick flap. "Unfortunately I can't actually fly... only glide."
With another, deeper sigh, he banged his head backwards (gently) on the window. Although Zayn couldn't see it, his bright red locks were next to the sign that advertised the 'Retreat' in large letters.

"Perhaps ... " Solstis started " A tracking device.... " *blink* Solstis stared blankly past Zayn's head and then started pointing excitably . " Look!" She managed to get out. "It...it says Retreat! " She pased forward and placed a hand on the sign tail swinging excitbly. " now are we in the right place?? "

"I-it does?" Zayn jumped off the wall and spun around. "It does! I'm not lost!"
Punching one arm in the air, Zayn bounced in excitement, (which made him look like he was dancing some kind of jig) before peering at the sign. Sadly the sign had no other real details apart from the name and a picture. "Wow, it certainly looks like the place Miss Kujin showed us. Good eyes, Miss Solstis!" he beamed at the cat-lady. "Let's ask how to get there, shall we?"
Ducking inside, Zayn looked around for the travel agent...

"Wow it does look like the place we are looking for!" he excitedly yelled out with new hope shining down upon them. With that discovery, Fire followed behind Zayn. As Zayn looked around for the travel agent, Fire continued to jump in delight, but trying not to get excited too much in case his ray of hope might turn out to be false.

The travel agents was as busy as any might have assumed, holidays were being booked left, right and centre yet one agent was free and was calmly peering in the direction of the peculiar group. Her natural instincts as an agent alerted her to the fact that she might actually be able to make a sale today and she simply couldn't wait (especially if it was an particularly expensive trip).
"Can I help you?" She enquired at last.

As the darkness surrounded him, Merrick reached into his pocket for his wand of light. "Ilumen!" he shouted to activate it, then drew forth...nothing. His hand scrabbled within his pocket. Nothing. His pocket was empty. Someone had stolen his wand of light.
Wherever Steve had put the wand of light, it began glowing brightly, pushing back the magical darkness.
Without thinking too much, Merrick began heading towards the light he now saw.
Meanwhile, Sasha had been turning about in circles. She couldn't seem and there was lots and lots of fishy smell around her. When a light came on somewhere, she headed towards it, for lack of anything better to do.

Jumping slightly from the woman's voice, Fire turned around to face the travel agent who had spoken up. He finally replied with a grin, "Umm hello. You scared me.. heh heh."
He calmed himself down and asked politely concerning about the destination he was trying to reach, "So do you know how I can get to this 'Retreat'?"

"If you refer to the holiday Island then you will reach there by boat." The woman responded automatically and swung her flat screen around so that he could admire the images of the resort and the facilities within it, "Founded approximately thirty years ago it has been a constant source of fasincation for the reach and those who enjoy exploring the globe." She took a breath and steepled her figures as she observed the man before her, her lips pursing and eyes narrowing in thought.
After what seemed like a brief examination of the person before her however, she did continue, that false smile plastered to her lips as was featured on the majority of sales reps across the planet.
"The trip costs precisely ten thousand gold per fortnight, everything is including in the package including the accomodation, food and whichever parts of the resorts you would prefer to use - spaces are limited of course so you will have to be quick!"
