I was going through a really bad time with my parents.. being all rebellious like a stereotypical teen, and Breaking the Habit made me cry (listening to LP really loud so they'd be pissed off XD). Also, when my best friend's dog died, I was listening to Shadow of the Day when she told me, and hearing her news and the song made me... well the best word would be weep. I loved that dog... ||_||

I'm pretty sure My December has made me cry because of my brother, and I think I've cried because of Breaking the Habit because I really relate to that.

I can practically relate to every single one of Linkin Park's songs (which, seriously, is why I love them so much. No other band touches me this close), but there were some which did make me tear.
"Somewhere I belong" - I was going through a tough time, and i just didn't belong anywhere, I couldn't get along with the people I was supposed to get along with . . . and when I heard this song, I just brawled. I did not feel so alone anymore because there were people who actually understood what I was going through.
"What I've Done" - I probably sound really religious saying this, but this song really hit me. Especially the lyrics, "Let mercy fall and wash away what I've done". It made me remember that no matter what, there was Someone who cared so much about me and wanted me back. I was in the MRT at that time going to school, and I was just standing there with tears in my eyes and this silly grin on my face . . . it was that special.
"Leave Out All The Rest" - I teared at this song, because I knew that I made mistakes in the past, and I really want to be remembered for the good I've done, rather than the bad. I'll definately be playing this song at my funeral because I want people to do the same for me.

I agree. I don't know why, but all the new songs seem to be more sensitive to the feelings of the fans. I guess it must be because of the lyrics, because they seem to be more heartfelt. Not that the previous albums were not heartfelt, but the previous albums were louder while this one is softer, so I guess that makes it easier for the emotions to get out.
