Loki looked at Itsuki, then back to Raem his tail twitching nervously. "Good question..."
Rae blinked in confusion. Those were clearly voices. Large...singing voices? They were singing in some harmony, in a language she didn't know. Was she imagining it, or did she hear the names of some of her tribe mates? Shaken, she continued to look to the center of the lake.

Itsuki noticed Rae and Ryari... 'Doing what?' Itsuki looked after them. "Are they... trying to hear something in the ice?"

Rae looked up at Ryari and then back down. She blinked again, trying to catch words she understood from the voices. She heard her name, and then Ryari's. The voices were calling to them now? Suddenly, she felt a soothing feeling, and the hurts form her past almost seemed to vanish. Whatever these things were, they didn't seem bad.
Loki stared in confusion."..Yea."

Itsuki strained her ears to hear what Rae and Ryari heard. The most she could hear at the moment was a bit of a mumble. 'I can't make out any words, if that's what they are...'

Dispite the frosted water aganst her ear, Ryari didn't feel the cold, all she heard was the hymm of voices singing beneath the ice. The chant seemed to grow louder as more hauntingly beautiful voices joined in the chorus. Her mind relaxed as if automatically and her worried feelings slipped away only to be replaced by joy. She heard her name, Loki's, Rae's, Itsuki's and so many more were chanted as she added her voice to the choir.

((I promise, I wasn't high when I came up with this idea. XD Eva doesn't use^^.))
Rae shivered as more voices joined in. She harmonized her humming with Ryari's letting the words flow over them. All she could make out was their names, but knew this was something sacred. This was the pull they all felt towards the area. These voices had called her here, dragging her on an invisible rope. The voices semeed to grow louder.
Loki could hear the voices now, his eyes opening wide. What was this?
((Higher Beings don't exist yet, guys, we can't go much further than this.))

Straining her ears even more, Itsuki could finally hear the words. The first word she heard was her own name, followed by Loki, Sahari, Rain, Chaussure, Kinovu, Seth, Rae, and Ryari's. 'It's the tribe members... This is the force that pulled the whole tribe together... Towards this very lake...'

Ryari continued to let the words flow, speech thet she herself didn't even understand. The loudening voices paused as if they all took a syncronized breath and then resumed. This time the voices began to fade and as suddlenly as the came, they were snatched away to the low inaudible hymm as they began , and Ryari plunged into darkness.
{you could go ahead and say the ice broke if you want, or not whichever. I just supposed this might be a good opppurtuinity for some action. x3}

Rae blinked as the voices softened. Vaguely, she was aware that she should go back to shore. Not of her own choice, but it semeed the voices wanted her to go for now. Obedient, she began to head back on shaky legs, collapsing on Loki's feet, suddenly exhausted.
Loki blinked as the voices stopped and the glow went away. Smiling at the kit on his feet, he picked her up softly, walking a short distance away to place her on the gorund again. Being gentle, he curled himself up against her to let her sleep.

Itsuki waited until the voices stopped all together until she noticed her surroundings. Rae was with Loki, but Ryari was still in the middle of the ice. 'I should move her, but I'm not sure how...' After thinking it over, Itsuki took her chances. Carefully stepping on the ice, Itsuki slowly walked over to where Ryari was on the ice. 'Okay...' Itsuki then started nudging her carefully over to the edge of the lake.

Loki smiled kindly at Ryari. Careful not to wake Rae he whispered. "I swear, weird stuff like that doesn't happen to us all the time." He watched Itsuki come back, and then turned his attention back to Rae, who at the moment seemed the least affected by all of this.
Rae sighed in her sleep and curled up againt Loki's warmth. For the first time in a long time, her mind was empty as she slept, not filled with the weird nightmares she normally had.

She blinked her eyes open soon after Itsuki began sliding her twords shore. She tried to stand, but failed and slipped back onto the ice. She ontinued to let Itsuki push her and as soon as they neared the shore she summoned the last of her stregnth stood, walked to the solid, dry ground, and collapsed. Huffing en-even breaths.

Itsuki sighed as she got Ryari and herself back to the shore. Walking to where the ice was melted, Itsuki took another drink. Afterwards, she curled up into a ball and fell asleep like the other kit.

Loki looked at the members of his tribe, thinking. Whatever that was, it apparently hadn't been a bad thing. Maybe some force was letting them know they were being watched over. He shrugged to himself and looked up at the sky.
