RAPTOR948 Pshycho Maniac RAPTOR948 Pshycho Maniac RAPTOR948 4Kids likes to butcher the japanese out of anime. they took out the orchestra original theme from One Piece and replaced it with a wannabe-rap song, they edited out ALL the blood. they removed lethal weapons such as guns including the 9mm beretas and revolvers, replacing it with finger pointing and lazer cannons in CGI that doesnt even fit. it's pathetic how they ******** s**t up. it was fortunate they didnt get their hands on Naruto, DBZ, FMA, or Sailor Moon. they would have ruined them all. DBZ was originally dubbed by Saban, but after an episode involving Goku knocking the bejesus out of Recoome, the episodes stopped. then Funimation took over and fixed EVERY EPISODE, making sure that what had been ruined was repaired, episodes returned, edits undone, basically it was fixed. Sailor Moon wasnt so fortunate though, first dubbed by Dic in favor against a live action Sailor moon series intended for production by Saban that would have ruined it at episode 1, then Cloverway had attained the rights after Dic lost the licenseing(either they forgot to renew, or Naoko Takeuchi torched the contract, likely she torched the contract), then through the S and Super S sagas of Sailor Moon Cloverway put ruin to ruin(something thought impossible), changing more, making sailors Uranus and Neptune seem more incestual than homosexual(personally I know a number of people who find the fact that Haruka and Michiru as lesbians to be a better idea), needless to say, after the added butchering, it was another torched contract, and Sailor Stars never saw stateside. rumors stated Dic would re-aquire the rights to Sailor Moon and dub sailor stars, but these rumors are simply rumors. the only way to catch the anime in it's entirety is to watch it on Youtube or have imported VHS/DVD. I can only imagine that any anime that faced such agony be revived by being redubbed by a company like Viz(Naruto), Geneon(Samurai Champloo, Viewtiful Joe, and SM DVD distributor), or Funimation(redubbed DBZ, dubbed FMA, Trinity Blood, Yu Yu Hakusho). this SM game should likely have some good voices, and hopefully it'll fix what had been put to ruin. I heard that in the USA version they were cousins or stuff? yeah, asside from changing the names, the USA version of Sailor Moon S made Haruke and Michiru(American names Amara and Michelle) seem like cousins, which made it seem very incestual, and likely got favor from the "redneck hillbilly" viewers who assumed incest was beyond popular in Japanese entertainment. needless to say, after what Cloverway did, they lost the rights to SM, same as Dic, Dic screwed up too much, they lost the rights, Cloverway tried fixing and screwed up some important aspects, in fact, only ONE senshi's civilian name was unchanged, ONLY ONE, Tomoe Hotaru, AKA Sailor Saturn. so a lot of dubbing companies dont do so well. Viz tries to get actors whose voices are as close to the Japanese voices as possible, if the voie has to be adjusted to make the character adapted to an American audiance, then it's a slight adjustment, look at Naruto, Orochimaru is a good example(despite how evil he is), he had a slightly femenine tone to his voice which addedto his creepiness, and was applied to his American voice, a sick twisted megalomaniacal psychopath genius who boarderlined *****, now THAT isa damn good villan, and not an easy role to play either without going overboard even a little. he looks good, but he's cuddly as a viper/cobra/rattlesnake/anaconda hybrid with a lust for power that exceeds Prince Lotor's lust for a certain blonde princess who pilots a robot lion. and you gotta be pretty ******** up to be THAT twisted. back on subject, I'm eagerly awaiting this Bishoujo Senshi Sailor moon game, even if I gotta import it if nessecary, I'll do what it takes! now if only I knew how to modify my Windows XP Media edition PC to use a Wiimote for World of Warcraft, that would make it a good deal easier... maybe. ^_^ I am suddenly glad that I don't have a televvisoin... well you can find the listed anime in all forms, on one happy little site... Youtube. ^_^ it helped me see that the Japanese version was clearly superrior to the English dub when it cameto some anime. ^_^ I will try when I find a pc that doesn't block youtube.

dragn99 Pshycho Maniac dragn99 apparently DBZ, Digimon, and a whole whack of other animes had teh pornoz before being Americanized... yet another reason for me to learn Japanese stare VEGETA AND BULMA PORNZ! pretty much. And you know when someone explodes in a flash of light? There used to be blood & guts I am betting that would look 87 times better.
