He then spun around and tossed the brown item at her. It when hurrling through the air and landed at her feet. It was a brown bag full of apples. "I told you. You don't die here. It's not your time." He then turned back around and began walking down through the park.

Ani ducked to avoid getting hit by the bag and waited for it to hit before she explored the contents. "That still doesn't explain anything." She grumbled as she poked at one of the apples that had rolled out onto the ground. She took it and polised it off on her jeans before she started to munch on her apple. Soon she killed it off and sat on the ground next to her bag dozing off just a bit.

"Do you really want to know who I am?" He said from behind her, despite the fact that he had been all the way down at the other end of the park just a few seconds ago.

Ani opened her eyes and looked up at him nodding as she sat up. "Yes I do." She stretched and smiled upon hearing her back pop loudly. "If I didn't really want to know, I wouldn't have asked."

"As you wish." He held out his hand and a long black pole began to sprout from the ground. He reached out to grab it and as he did so it curved back and a blade poped out of the end of it, turning into a scyth. He spun it around several times and when it passed the fifth time he was suddenly wearing his hooded robes. He seemed taller now, and more intiminating, but he was really levitating a few feet above the ground. He then looked down at her, most of his face hidden in the shadow. "I am a represenative of death. I am a Grim Mistake!"

Her eyes widened and she scooted backbefore she shakily got to her feet. Now you make sense." She muttered softly moving a little closer to him. Ani reached out just a bit and barely brushed her fingertips over one of his hands just to make sure she wasn't seeing things before backing up again. She tilted her head and looked up at him wrapping her arms across her stomach.

"As I have said before, you have nothing to fear from me. It is not your time yet." He pulled out a small peice of parchment that seemed to stretch a good distance. "Yes you've got a while to live. But don't get too cocky. Your life can always be cut a little.... short." He put it away and returned to the ground, his robe stopped blowing open as well.

Ani nodded and smirked a little. "It seems to me, what we have here now isn't really living, it's existing." She put her hands in her pockets again as she studied Frost un-intrested in the length of her life.

"It's not exactly safe to be around here, especially at this time of night. There are some pretty foul things lurking around here. And they're bad enough to give me trouble. I'd hate to see what they could do to you."

"You couldn't possibly handle the places I go to. You'd go mad at the first sign of it. But I do think I know a place you can stay. Follow me." He said spinning around his scyth and pointing it in the direction of a dimly lit street. "It's the dark places where your safest."

"Thanks." She shouldered the small bag with the remaining apples and started to pad off. When she reached the edge of the park she turned and added as an afterthought. "And thanks for the food." With that she headed off in the direction he had pointed out trying to ignore the cold feeling creeping up her back.

A small creature secured in the shadows was watching her with glowing yellow eyes, making small chirping sounds ever now and then, moving along the building and not taking it's eyes off of here even once.

Ani dropped her tresure in a safe place and un wrapped one of her chains and paused to draw one of her boot daggers. She scanned her surroundings her bright green eye glimmered while the blue one remained cold and distant.

The creature crawled out of the shadows. It seemed to be flesh and hideous. It revealed four very long claws and lept at her with surprising speed.
