I love dry erase boards too. I have mini one in my room and a bunch of the markers in different colors. Another thing I really like is pens! I have soooo many! Mainly gell pens.

I stick with pencil mostly, but I have a huge markerboard and a calendar board. I had a mini one, but it doesn't erase well. I like the ones we have in the lounges xd That's where I wrote that. I do have another script, if I can fnd it, that I was going to use for Lïtihla but deemed too much effort for normal writing use. But it is rather pretty razz I could potentially make it into the Lïtihla "cursive"... hmm... twisted Or use it for some other archaic script. But who knows? I can't scan right now, since I have have to pack for the summer, but maybe I can send that one to you sometime, as it's more complete.

Awwwwwwww. Did you take it any where out of the house?
PostPosted: Fri Jun 01, 2007 10:16 pm

no, I don't think so, that's the frustrating bit v.v I've been looking high and low for the thing (I've practically torn my room apart trying to find it >.O). I lost it about a week after I had finished it too emo

It was so beautiful, so elegant crying

That notebook also had three or four really good poems (the only good ones I've written) in it too >.<

Aw, that sucks. Do you remember any of the characters/alphabet?

I still have about half of them on a piece of paper, but all of the really elegant characters that I had created for the vowels (with the exception of a, â, and i) and several of the consonants are lost until I find that book emo

I had originally created it as an attempt to come up with an easier way of writing in Farsi (learning the arabic script is a pain in the rear as far as I'm concerned...though I will, eventually...).

I'll post a pic of some of what remains soon.

it says "Khaili Khoob", which means "very well" in Farsi.

I tried fiddling around with ciphers so I could get a bit used to making unique characters. Also: calligraphy pens are awesome. Especially when a red one is on sale xd

I bought a blue calligraphy pen at Hobby Lobby for $1.99.

I'm gonna use it to draw purdy letters. heart

I bought my new red one at the same place for the same price heart

I'd hate to work at Hobby Lobby, for the singular reason that I'd spend my whole paycheck there the instant I got it.

Since I moved out, I've learned to resist... I can actually walk through the crafts department of WalMart without buying anything, not even a single canvas or spool of wire. biggrin It's amazing. It helps to have a large supply of canvasses waiting for me back at the dorm, of course...
Duct tape, on the other hand, is more difficult to resist.

That's why I leave with a limited amount of money in my pocket. Cash for the win.

I still vote for dry erase markers--the chisel tip ones always win, as long as they haven't been destroyed biggrin

Aw, ya gotta go with the old fashioned nib pens. When I was in England, I found the nicest antique German pen. Its harder to use than the modern ones, but the result is much more purdyful.
