Hyde had asked to be let down in court when he recieved the letter, and he was stood leaning against the castle wall. Watching Macy rip up blades of grass, it was a child like thing to do, but he noticed that Macy was very much a child when he handled emotions other than anger or love. He turned his head when he heard the old door open and blinked, his eyes falling on his king. Then he noticed the items and his heart truly went out to his best friend and the unborn child, returning of items only meant one thing...and as a healer he would know...Caspian was dead.
Macy was too busy with killing the grass to notice any new company, he turned his attention to a flower and picked it. Laying it across his mothers journal, which lay open with the letters scattered about in his lap. He was writing into the few blank pages left, just so he felt closer to his missing parent.

Jareth reached the pair, wearing the usual emotionless mask that he had perfected over the centuries. The news would probably end with Macy lashing out at someone, it migh as well be him.
"I'm afraid I have bad news." he said softly, he didn't trust himself to speak any louder. Because deep down, Caspian still held a place in his heart. He was the only family he ever felt close to, his school friend and partner in crime. And they had both been too stubborn to really reconcile things after Caspian had left the court for the sea. He missed him almost as much as Macy did.

Hyde took the chance to sit himself next to Macy, the other now had a habit of clinging to him when emotional. It used to be the other way around, Macy looked up at Jareth, his eyes searching his guardians face before they fell on the hat. A disbelieving look flickered through his eyes and he tried smiling, though it came out strained.
"w-what..?" he asked, afraid of the answer. Hyde looked down at the pile of grass Macy had ripped from the ground. He just hoped his friend wouldn't end up hurting his child if he decided to get violent.

A pained look crossed Jareth's face. This was by far the most painful thing he had ever had to do, and he'd visited a Goblin dentist.
He handed Macy the letter, the hat and the old pendant Caspian used to wear.
"They wouldn't let me speak for him." he said shakily.

Macy stared down at the items and handed the letter to Hyde, who read it out to him. His vision blurred with tears as he looked at the hat and pendant. It was true, Caspian never took the pendant he had given him off. And he was always with his hat.
"no...! he said he'd come back!!" he yelled, his voicing shaking with tears as he hugged the hat close to himself, the tears from his eyes dropping onto it, leaving patches behind. He knew it was true but his whole being rejected the truth. Hyde stayed silent, touching Macy wuld only result in a black eye when he was like this, but Macy had learned to with hold himself and didn't strike out anymore.

The Unigon's tears weighed heavily on Jareth's heart. He knew something like this would happen sooner or later. In this instance he hated being right.
Any attempt to comfort Macy at this time would most likely be useless so he remained silent. Perhaps grieving alone was the best option at the moment.

Macy truly felt sick now, his tears wouldn't stop and his heart had shattered. He stood up slowly, the journal falling onto the ground with a thud. He turned to Jareth and threw himself at him, he really needed comfort right now and Jareth was the only one he wanted to recieve it from.
"it's not fair!!this always happens to me" he sobbed, feeling keenly the injustice of having his loved ones ripped away from him repeatedly. He wanted this to just be some big joke and for the pirate king to pop out and say so, he couldn't even go back to Cas' ship anymore.

Jareth was a little taken aback by this sudden outburst, but held the Unigon close to try and ease his sadness. The tragedy had taken them all by surprise, and he guessed they were all frightened and on edge from the shock of it.
"No, it isn't fair." he replied sadly. Had this been any other situation he'd have gone into his usual little lecture about life not being fair, but it was no longer appropriate even if it was the truth. Life wasn't fair, but that's the way it is.

Macy clung to Jareth, his head rest on the older's shoulder. He felt weak and vunerable now, and he felt sick. He tried to calm himself, as getting too worked up put stress on the baby or soemthing like that, he hadn't eally listened to the port-side doctors after hearing the reason to why he was sick in the morning and gaining weight around the middle.
"I feel sick Jareth" he murmured after his sobs had quelled, his eyes were raw and stung from the on and off crying he had been doing since Caspian's arrest. Waking up everyday with the hope that Caspian had returned, and then finding another day without him had passed, stabbed at the Unigon.

The Goblin King's eyes widened. Was the baby in danger, did high stress levels affect pregnancy. He wasn't much of an expert, his people tended to steal babies after they were born.
"Er...As in morning sickness or bad sickness?" he asked worriedly, looking to Hyde for some kind of explanation. He felt incredibly lucky that they had a healer with them at that prescise moment.

"he needs to lie down Jareth, it'd be best to get one of your doctors down to have a look at him. I'm not an expert on Hermaphrodites...which is what Macy seems to be...or partly so" Hyde answered, stepping forward to take the Unigon's hand. He looked pale and refused to let the hat or pendant go.
"not morning sickness...." Macy murmured a little weakly, he wanted to sleep, and he wanted to just go somewhere quiet. He was tired and he hurt, his heart hurt.

Jareth nodded and gently lifted Macy off his feet so he could carry him back to his room. He could not let anything happen to Caspian's child, he absolutely refused.
"Well could you fetch a physician, Hyde." he said, trying to keep a level head. "I'll take him to his room and have the servants bring some tea."

Hyde nodded, Chai had alerted Sho that he may be needed in the underground. So it was just the case of travelling back up to Gaia to fetch him, he was okay on dimensional travel, just didn't like it. He quickly made his way to Gaia, arriving with a thud in the reception area of the clinic, he never could get his landings down right.
Macy let himself be carried, to upset to refuse help. He really just wanted to rest and let the news sink in. He was going to be the childs only parent, he felt keenly for his unborn child.
"what am I gonna do? I might not be able to do this alone" Macy murmured softly, his gaze downcast and depressed.

Sho looked up in fright. He honestly would never get used to the pan-dimentional travel that his employees were capable of, and not being able to understand just plain annoyed him.
"Hyde? Is there a problem? I thought you were supposed to be staying with the Goblin King." he said, feeling a little on edge at the look on the other's face.
Jareth kicked open the door to the Unigon's room, seeing as he had his arms full of Unigon. He strode across the room to rest his ward carefully on the bed.
"You're not alone Macy. You'll always be welcome here." he said. "And you have me and Hyde, we'll all be there to help you if you need it." he sighed "We'll cope somehow, I know we will."

Hyde picked himself up off the floor and dusted his jeans off, he noted to himself to clean it as soon as possible.
"Macy's taken a turn Doctor, could you return with me to check him over??" he asked, turning to look at his employer.
"I just can't believe.....i'll never see him again..." Macy said unhappily, he kicked his shoes off and let them clatter to the floor. Before carefully pulling the covers over himself. He rested his head on his pillow and let a sigh out, his eyes sliding shut.
" I really do...love him Jareth"
