"SHUT UP!" Ed roared back... He's not a freak! ... Well maybe he was, but still! The alchemist found himself pinned under Terasu, but that didn't stop his mouth! "BIG FLUFFY PEACOCK WITH PINK FEATHERS!"

Rikku & the tala paused dumbfounded in the middle of their work & even Liliana's tired eyes opened wide. She had been happily listening to Edward reminisce, trying to peek at the pictures where she could between the boys and feeling her heart go out to her friend for not having his family near like hers was. But suddenly she was up, flying over awkwardly on weary wings and using her magic to pull them apart before interposing herself between them. "Stop! Oh please stop! You're both gorgeous kitsu!" There were almost tears in her green eyes. Zell blinked, almost as much at her reaction as to the fight itself. He was used to being the one in the fight, not watching it. [But they've not even brought out the weapons yet...] Mirage & Rikku giggled. "Just because you & Seifer fight with weapons all the time doesn't mean others should."

Myranda looked straight at Atae, the others in the room looking to her for direction with the human's inebriation. "She's a high level telepath, when not inhibitting herself, Atae. Trel can follow any wellness or hurt on a metabolic level too, and with her innate empathy ... well, she'd be a force to be reconned with if she'd ever learn how to use it at will."

"S'not." Trelweny tried to deny, her eyes crossing slightly. The GaiaCom chuckled. "She's still denying. We'll need at least one more."

"On it!!" With a snarky grin she finished her answer. "So what she will do -with Keyna directing her- is telepathically link your Friend Edward with our Rikku, finding his body's memories of how the automail was attatched so that the new limbs can be reattatched properly."

"The whole show is based on a book, Trel says. There's a copy of it in Remus' library. Some guy called Andrew Lloyd Webber put it to music, so it's all singing now." the kirin smiled. "Which would be why Theron likes it. That boy loves music. Like his bard mother."

Locke huffed softly and Peter nodded. "That makes sense I guess. Not much wind in here. Not like out at the lake." That made Locke laugh. "Just 'cause you'd get blown away some days if you didn't employ your kinetics, Peter."

Amaryllis poked her head up from the plant she was crooning to. [Peter would never be blown away.] She defended her familiar loyally.

Terasu dropped the coat as Lily jumped in. "Um...sorry." He directed it at Lily, still giving Ed a stubborn pout. He padded forward and sat next to his disabled brother. He handed Ed the coat, waiting for him to reclaim it. He blinked with concern at Lily's face. "Are you alright? Maybe you should take a nap?" She looked exhausted.

Ed was getting use to Liliana's nuzzlings as her... way of showing friendly affection. Thus he just smiled as she did so, and didn't blush quite so much this time around. He figured it must be a girly thing. As Terasu handed his coat back, Edward snatched it from him while making a snarly face. Although it disappeared as soon as it had appeared and he was looking back to Liliana. "Just don't overdo yourself" Edward advised, lifting a paw to rub at his head which had started aching a bit again. Thanks to all that yelling and screaming.

The winged female just smiled, soft & sad, then waved her wand to set the pictures & everything near them that had been disturbed by the brothers' fighting back to how it had been when they arrived. Her ear twitched at Terasu's mutter but being so tired she could not make it out. So she focused on Edward. Only then did her smile falter as she looked at him. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't realize you had family to miss like that." Liliana felt guilty, having her family usually so close she never missed them, and growing to boot.

Now that the atmosphere was not explosive, the mechanics worked diligently again. To their family it was always amusing to see them hard at work when the rest of the time they bustled with so much energy they could not be contained.

Terasu raised a brow at Ed. He still pondered to himself often of the family situation. Not that it was a bother, just something to adjust to. Not too hard for a kit. "In your case, you'll be here often then. Your always getting into sticky situations." He lifted his hind legs, pawing at his toes for amusement.

Edward beamed up until the point that Terasu made his comment and Liliana's worries were renewed. Way to go peacock boy... he had been trying to keep her happy! Edward's ears flopped and he sighed, "I will try" Edward said quietly. That's all he could do anyway... he certainly couldn't promise anything, otherwise he might let her down. The teen looked in the direction of the mechanics, wondering how it was going. "Maybe you should go lie down somewhere for awhile..." he then told Liliana, looking back to her. He knew that when it came time to reconnect the automail... she wouldn't like the outcome.

Liliana nodded, returning to her out of the way spot & curling up after touching her nose to Edward's cheek. "You'll tell me if you need me? For any reason?"

The three mechanics probably could not answer Terasu's unspoken query if they tried. They did follow the books that were in the room as well as the make of Ed's origianl parts but there were some things that they followed the "old" model for, and some the "new" -though mostly the new. The three had agreed that not only did it match the reference pieces a kitsu needed the speed & agility it offered probably over the strength.
