[You do know if your going to take the scientific and logical rout to weapons. You must know there are two different kind of Ions An Ions, and Cat Ions. Cat Ions are negatively charged elements which means they had a valence electron added and so the overall charge is negative which means they will not bond with anything. While a An Ion is positively charged and so it will bond with nearly anything.
That being said if your Silver 'Gas' is Ionized. Which kind of Ion and just because it's Ionized doesn't make it a gas... Now that being said if it were a An Ion and it were bonding with the current Oxygen Atoms in the air the Silver-Oxide would be weighing down the oxygen atoms and would immidiately fall to the floor. Says gravity.... Your weapon is only effective if used to Air to Ground in which the Silver Ions have to bond and fill the air. Otherwise they'll bond and fall before the thing could take a breath. It's technology that is used in mass spectroscopy, and actually, both types of Ions bond with something, even free redicals and 'inert' gasses bond with something, in the right situation))

A shadow seemed to move quickly move down the street, entering the weaponry shop. She could sense other creatures here, but ignored their scents though they pryed at her mind. Reaching the counter, Kallie looked the person on the counter in the eye, "Bump Back" She said, writing down her order,
" General Purpose Assault Rifle (Mk 1),
65 Holy Water Rounds,
and 40 UV rounds "
On a piece of paper and handing it over with two bars of gold.

The fat man nodded and got the weaponry, handing it over quickly and putting the gold where the rest of the money customers paid remained.
Kallie quickly put the order away and walked out of the shop, looking as if she had merely entered to practice her aim-Why practice? She had a bulls eye target unless it was moving, then she had a pretty okay shot. Soon she shot off walking down the street and away from that place, wondering what trouble she should be up to with her new weaponry-Better not be foolish She kept telling herself.

Hawkes walked into Hammer Tech, and muttered, "Bump back" He slipped the man at te couter a note saying:
I need 2 Solar pistols with a disabled UV light, 200 rounds of silver nitrate bullets, and 200 rounds of holy water bullets.
The man grabbed two pistols, scanned them with a laser, and handed them to Hawkes. He also grabbed 200 rounds of each kind of bullet Hawkes needed and said, "That'll be 5000 dollars." Hawkes reached into his coat and pulled out 2 indian diamonds and handed them to the man behind the counter. As hawkes walked out, the man said, "Thanks fer yer custom" Hawkes replied, "You don't want my custom. You don't want anything to do with me, because I am thirsty, and in a minute, these guns will shed blood." He walked out of the shop, and headed for the City.

(Me) A young female woman approched the astablishment for all weapon alike underground sales. she wore a black leather trench coat, and under that was a full-out skin tight leather zip up body suit. her black corset tied tight above that had strange symbles in blood red thread stitched into it and written in latin. her boots were decked out with chains as the laces, and has crimson red roses on the outer-sides of them. her hair was cut short and it blew in the wind as she walked up to the door from the street. she had punk brackels on and hidden weapons under her trench coat.
she walked up and very discretely shoved a folded piece of paper under the door and turned her back against the wall near the door and lit a cigerate. the content of the paper read.
a dozen Silver Nitrate bullets,
20 dozen on the UV rounds, and I want them both customed for a magnum pistol...

and pipe boob equitment
her sultry voice whispered "I'll pay double for the bullet making kit, and why don't you put in a few silver plates while your at it." she inhaled deeply and added, "I'll also pay extra for the boody trap and pipe boob stuff, all top dollar sweetie." I said.
she finished off her smoke, threw it down and smushed it out.
