Oh man I suck so much at Chinese calligraphy. ; 3; Mainly 'cos I'm not so good with Chinese characters. I like Chinese brush painting though. My grandma does that. smile

When writing calligraphy style, keep your wrist stiff. Move your hand and not your wrist. That should give you different results. Might be better, might be worse. If you find copying a character too hard, make one up and make it look like an actual Chinese character. Then open up a tourist shop and sell them for your own personal gain. I find it funny how tattoo newbies get tribal bands, dragons, Japanese or Chinese characters, or butterflies when they go get a tattoo. Mexicans get the generic Mexican crap(I think you know what I mean).

I'm 18
I speak vietnamese, english, and understand a dash of spanish. Although, I only know how to read a bit of viet and write it. I can speak it fluently.
I have an obsession with bright things, as you can see by my avatar.

Welcome to the guild, sorry there isn't much activity going on around here. Some members are on a leave of absence but the hardest problem is gaining potential members, bumping the thread you wandered in isn't helping much. Got any suggestions?

um.. well im new to this guild obviously..thats why im posting here..
well
im 14.. x.x 2 more years till i get my license
I`m only.... x.x Caucasian
Im from Israel but im not a terrorist
i have Siberian background x.x
I can speak Russian.. English... with an accent x.x
Hebrew.. and i can understand.. a little bit of japanese..
but i didnt learn it from manag or anime.. so im not an idiot.. sweatdrop
but i can only understand spoken japanese x,x
i cant read it x.x
well.. so far i know.. how to draw on computer.. AKA computer graphics.. but im more of a traditional ... i like pencil and pen.. x.x
and i know a bit of CSS.. HTML... and Animating and Flash x.x
but.. like most people.. I`m LAZY surprised

Hello everyone!
I'm a 17 year old girl in California, and I speak English, Spanish, and a smidge of Japanese.
I like working in traditional and digital media. I'm a manga teacher, RSOM7 winner, and I hope to study Animation and Digital Arts. I like video games and the color pink.

Japanese is .. sort of a common language in the internet world.. and very useful for artist to know it a little bit
so is Chinese
the calligraphy.. i could use one symbol.. and turn it an awesome drawing.. @_@
also.. alot of technology is made by Japanese @_@
