akuyoko Raui Betman Raui Betman Raui Yeah. Waking up and staring out the window to see a corpse isnt what you want to see in the morning. How close do you live to where he died?I live in one of the houses near the town swqare. Why do you ask Betman? Well, I figure if you live so close to the scene, maybe you'dve heard something going on outside.Ah. a good point. Well.. This is what I remember. I was up in my bed. Reading my favorite book like always. Then suddenly I hear a howl. This started me. Then I heard screams. When I looked out the window. I saw it. A beast of great horror. Something that seemed like a half man half wolf. I thought I was dreamining but I watched in horror, as our old neigherbor, johnson, was ripped apart like cheese. Then it ran off.. thats when I realized that our safe little community wasnt so safe anymore. I still have nightmares from that... If you saw it, why didn't you run out there to check it out? At least after the wolf had left. I don't blame him for not going out there; I'd be scared as s**t.

Yeah, I won't be sleeping much tonight either. The image of his mangled body is burned into my mind....

I try not to take these things to seriously, if we intend to take care of this threat, it would be best if we all tried to get as much rest as possible, if we don't we'd be pretty much setting ourselves up for disaster. And Raui, it was Jenkins, we don't have a Johnson in our village old friend. Perhaps the creature did spook you too hard.

Well said, Zen. But I'm a little squeamish and sleep won't be easy. Especially because that beast is still out there... I think we should set up a curfew, so no one is outside when those wolves attack again.

That'd be best, Aku. I don't think anyone should be out after sundown. That way, the werewolves won't be able to get to us. Right?

A curfew would be a nice idea, but I fail to see how that would help too much. If we confine our townsfolk this evening it will drive the mindset of them into a constant state of fear and fear isn't what we need right now if we intend to remain collected enough to gather our intelligence and take down this beast. I have a bit of an idea myself, but I'm only 5% sure, it's enough for me to hold my speculation but I need more fact to call claims on my ideals. When I come up with more, at least 20% I'll probably share my thoughts with the rest of you.

Leave that for when the time comes, for all we know they don't even exist.

Fireonimusha Leave that for when the time comes, for all we know they don't even exist. Just look at the corpse! No human could have done that!

Ah, you're right, Zen. There's no way we'll be able to keep the public calm with a curfew.
And Fire, what makes you think they don't exist? The howling, the scattered remains...the bones, man. Look at the bones!

Fireonimusha Leave that for when the time comes, for all we know they don't even exist. No, I'm quite sure it was a beast of mythical proportions. When I found Jenkins ravaged body it had a wolf claw embedded in the back of it's neck. I know you're probably thinking that a regular wolf could have done this damage, but no wolf is capable of mimicking apposable(sp?) thumbs, or would have a paw of that stature for that matter. A large mark was embedded all the way around his neck, only a werewolf could possibly pull something like that off.
