Kechara laughed softly, allowing her body to drop to the ground, his paw cradled between hers. Slowly her mind was allowing her to believe this was actually happening. She tilted her head to the side, "S-so..." She said softly, watching him carefully, "Um....what happens now?" She flushed again, though this one was significantly less colorful.

Briar watched as Kechara lay down and smiled at her. Her question caught him off guard. What did Numas do after admitting they liked each other? He knew of the ritual done when one picked a mate. But what after that? Briar shrugged. "We do whatever we want, I suppose," he said.

Kechara paused, dark pink eyes glancing away from a second and her cheeks staining pink once again, "Um...th-there's one thing I'd like to do..." She sat up and pressed her mouth to his.
Seperating she blushed darker removing one paw from his and brushing her hair out of her face nervously, "S-sorry...I don't know why..." She smiled tentatively, "You taste good though." She said softly, and giggled nervously again.

"Oh, what's that?" He was about to ask, but the words stuck in his throat like the thick molasseses from the Swamp when Kechara suddenly pressed her mouth to his. His eyes opened wide, and he sat there stunned at the bold move. He hadn't expected Kechara to be brave enough for a kiss just yet.
Getting over the shock, Briar smiled at her and reached out to cup her cheek with his paw. "You don't he apologize," he told her, leaning his head forward so that his forehead rested on hers.

Kechara blushed and smiled a real smile, "But you look so surprised..." She replied, tilting her head to the side. She jumped in surprise as he cupped her cheek and pressed his forehead to hers. "...Oh." She whispered, "I suppose...I don't need to apologize..." She smiled again, "If this keeps up....I think I'll be permenately pink." She chuckled.

Briar chuckled lightly, nuzzling his nose against hers. "Pink looks good on you," he said, grinning. Part of him found this intimate contact awkward, but he also found it very nice. Especially with Kechara. He licked her cheek lightly and waited to see her reaction.

Kechara flushed darker at the touch of the noses and her eyes became very wide when he licked her cheek. "...Ah!" She laughed nervously, "That was surprising." She replied, completely unsure of what to say. Her cheek tingled pleasantly where he had licked it too and she was half-tempted to touch it, but that would mean releasing the paw she still had clasped in her hands, and she simply didn't want to do that.

"Too fast?" Briar asked, worried he would frighten Kechara by moving their relationship too quickly. They had both admitted liking the other, but that didn't mean he wouldn't scare her off by showing too much affection at once. Slow. Slow was good, he thought.

Kechara shook her head slowly, "Not unless my kiss was," She replied smiling gently. Her mind wandered over the things they could do together. She had half a mind to just hug him and thank him half to death, but she was sure she'd never do that, it was...too forward for her and would probably not be the right thing to do at this moment.
She yawned abruptly and flushed with surprise and shame, "Ah...!" She glanced away, "S-sorry. I guess...I'm a bit tired." She chuckled softly, eyes focused on anyplace rather then Briar's eyes. Had she just ruined everything? She stupid tiredness was interfering with them.

Briar nearly kissed her again to prove that hadn't been too forward, at least for him it hadn't. He still thought it best not to go too fast though. They had all the time in the world now to share kisses.
"Tired?" Briar repeated with a blink. "Would you like to take a nap?" He brushed her hair out of her face with his paw.

Kechara flushed, "A....a bit." She admitted softly, "But....I don't want to go to sleep..." She shivered slightly as the past returned, "I....I'm afraid the monster will come after me." She admitted softly, eyes downcast with shame. She glanced about, sure that her statement would attract the creature them. "S-sorry. It's a stupid thing." She murmured, fighting of tears.

Briar frowned then nuzzled his head against Kechara's neck. "If you're tired, you should rest," he insisted. "I'll stay awake and make sure nothing bad comes around to harm you." He sat up straight and puffed out his chest like he thought a brave knight might do to impress the girl he liked.

Kechara sighed contentedly as he rubbed against her neck, she just wanted to stay with him and make this moment last--but sleepiness and everything that had happened in the last few hours, was finally deciding to catch up with her. She blinked in surprise as he puffed out his chest and giggled, "That's so sweet." She replied, smiling, "But aren't you tired too? You should rest as well." She commented, her eyes taking on a stern cast.

"A little," Briar admitted as his chest deflated. He fought back a yawn that threatened to crack his face. "But if you're worried about something bad coming along, I'll stay awake to protect you." He wanted her to sleep well if she was tired, not have her tossing and turning in her sleep with fear.

Kechara smiled gently and sighed , allowing her head to fall forward onto his chest, "I'm sure..." She said, burrowing her face into his fur, "That everything will be fine," She breathed in his scent, "If we're together." She finished. Her cheeks heated again after the words left her lips. It was still so new for this and she wasn't even sure she would ever get over her habit of blushing at the smallest thing. Her paw squeezed his reassuringly, she knew she wouldn't have nightmares if he was wih her, nothing would attack them if they were together.
