I had hope because of Rocky, Will, and John. I think a group and loose a member, sometimes two and still make it work well without and 180 degree change. But It really is THE AMY LEE SHOW, now.

Eh, im a member at a little site which was the very first Ev fan site ever. On our front page it says, evanescence is dead with a bunch of pictures that come off as ant-amy lee. Now on all other fansites we have a bad name and people are starting to post things on our board saying how we are morons and such. What a bunch of punker-suckers. I cant even hold my own freakin opinion anymore.

Are you saying that i look for drama? dramallama

The reason that i stayed with that site was because of the relationships that i built with all of the people there. Talking to 5 other epople everyday for 3 years brings you close together. That's why i stayed and that's why i will stay.

I joined two other band websites but left because of the drama and the fact that i really didnt like those bands anymore. Gaia supplies my metal needs, so i dont need them anymore.

She's cool. I don't really know alot about them, but I have listen to alot of Ev's music.
I have fallen the album, and my favorite is "imaginary" I can't exactly explain it, but it seems like a horror story, just one sooo soo..you know, imaginary, and creepy.
It's kinda hard to explain. You have heard it, right? monsters, whispering winds, and paper flowers. the way she says it reminds me of a bad dream I once had, It was a dark night. It was a field of flowers, perfectly harmless, then as I walked forward towards it, A cross shot down into the flowers, tunrning them black. once I walked into it, a bolt of light shot down on me, and my whole top slit open, soaking the black flowers. Suddenly, I was in front of the door, I thought it was supposed to be hell, but it was all black, I heard something inside with me. I pounded on the door, crying out, wanting soo badly for god to let me out...then i woke up.

Back on the "religion" topic, I have talked with some metal heads, some all around gothic, punks, and you know "satanic" looking band members, and actually, alot of them were pretty cool, and most of them are indeed christian, or jewish, many different types of religions. THe point, is that some are all in good FUN, music IS entertainment, Indeed, some use it to vent, or let go of emotions, or whatever...but MOST,(and I say that lightly)do it for fun, fashion, and just to show themselves. just to say "this is me, and I'm not afraid to show it".....

Like someone else said, a lot of musicians portray a certain image that does not mirror their personal, private life. There's no point in Evanescence calling themselves a Christian band, even if every one of them is a Christian, unless the music itself is in accord.

And as far as the swearing goes, since when does that make you not a "true" Christian? Remember that Man made those rules, not any deity. The whore thing, even if she WERE trying to convey that image, who cares? Is there something particularly wrong with whores? You know, back in the day, prostitutes were sacred members of society.
