ahhh kagome.......what to say what to say........well.......she's a kick @$$ fighter when she's pissed and when she has a goal she sticks to it, plus no matter how much she thinks of staying home she is still devoted to getting the sacred jewl shards back....she's a great person on inuyasha, and she doesn't whine, she does alot of work and if you guys had to do it to you guys would also act the way she did, for and average person it's hard work so kagome is actually pretty strong willed and is very set on her goal and what she has to do and doesn't quit whatsoever 3nodding

People should not be bashing ANY of the three characters. Obviously, a lot of people on Gaia don't know how to read. It's a Pro Kagome, Kikyou, and Sango guild, for god's sake. It's not: 1. Pro-Kagome, Sango, and Anti-kikyou 2. Pro-Kikyou, Sango, and Anti-Kagome 3. Pro-Kagome, Kikyou, and Anti-Sango 4. Pro-Sango, anti-Kikyo and Kagome 5. Pro-Kagome, anti-Sango, Kikyou 6. Pro-Kikyou, anti-Kagome, Sango.

I used to hate Kikyo, but now , after watching Parts one and two of The Tragic Love Song Of Destiny, (recent Episodes, in America) I UNDERSTAND HER. I don't like her, I just understand her.
But if the show didn't have Kagome, there would be no show people. Kagome ties everything togther, and If you've been listening and watching the episodes and movies, you'd come to find taht Inuyasha is indeed in love with her, and he couldn't live without her. In short, He needs Kagome. Now, given, she may sit him a little to much, But put yourself In Kagome's shoes...walk a mile in them, and see how you would feel.
Besides, something to ponder over I think... If Kikyo and Inuyasha loved one another so much, how could they be so easily tricked? Kagome and Inuyasha have been tricked into thinking something to that extent before...but they never fell for enough to do what Inu and Kikyo did.

I like Kagome's optimistic, caring and positive way of being. She's rather annoying sometimes, especially when she cries 'Inuyahsa!' like 10 times in an ep...but still, she's a good character in a way. She's the one brings the plot all together. She may be useless but I think she's useful. She brings food and gives first aid and also her shooting has improved quite a lot from the way it was at first.

underworld-girl I like Kagome's optimistic, caring and positive way of being. She's rather annoying sometimes, especially when she cries 'Inuyahsa!' like 10 times in an ep...but still, she's a good character in a way. She's the one brings the plot all together. She may be useless but I think she's useful. She brings food and gives first aid and also her shooting has improved quite a lot from the way it was at first. Let's face the facts. Kagome spent most of her life as a normal fifteen-year-old, living in the Modern Era. Suddenly the Centipede youkai grabs her and drags her into a world filled with many dangerous and scary things. I think it's righteous of her to scream Inuyasha like that. Besides, half the time, she screams Inuyasha's name not for her own sake, but because she is worried about him. Kagome is not useless... at all. There are so many times where Kagome actually saves everyone's necks. To make it short I have two examples. One from an earlier chapter, where Sango takes Tessaiga to Naraku so she can get Kohaku back. Seeing how Sango is gravely hurt, and angered by Naraku's antics, Kagome damages his body so much he needs to recuperate and get a new body. The second example actually comes from the later chapters of the manga (which have yet to be animated). Kagome actually saves Kouga and Inuyasha's life from a much stronger Naraku by using her purity arrow. She doesn't do it once, she does it three times. Finally, if Kagome was so useless, then why can't the Inu-tachi find the shards when she's back in her era? Useless? No way. Kagome can see the Shikon no Tama, and for the most part, her ability to see things most normal humans and even Inuyasha can't see, Kagome kept the Inu-tachi from severely perilious moments.
