Zaphiro frowned, not having remembered when he was speaking that Hienna was landbound. He was so used to flight himself that he tended to take it as second nature, forgetting that not everyone was blessed with wings as he himself was. Shaking his head at his own disregard, he nodded slightly at Hienna, wondering if an apology was appropriate under the circumstances before writing it off. Likely it would just sound pretensious, and he didn't need that.
So he was more than relieved when she changed the subject, chuckling at her antics as she prowled about, hunting for the perfect spot. "Well, I've always felt that fish deserve to be left to their own devices, so I never tried fishing. I'd feel honor-bound to fetch you out...and yes, that looks like a decent spot. Are you comfortable?"
Satisfied that she had found a spot, he had headed for his own preferred resting place, at the grassy bank where three of the five springs converged. In spite of tumbling into the water once when he was younger, he'd always loved this spot; the water was very relaxing, and he tended to stare into it a lot and think. That, and it was just a comfortable spot.

"Very," Hienna answered as she nestled into her spot and closed her eyes. The darkness blanketed them both now and she couldn't help but give a long, drawn out yawn. The mare did love stars but she was generally asleep before it got dark enough to really see them very well.
"Sleep well, Zaphiro," she called over to him before she slipped into her own dreams. Hopefully there would be no nightmares that night.

Settling down into the grass, Zaphiro gently folded his wings over his back and tucked in his legs. Glancing out through the darkness, he could just make out Hienna's horn, glimmering faintly in the moonlight, and towards that he directed his reply. "Good night Hienna; sweet dreams, and until the morrow rest well."
Then he was tucking his muzzle gently beneath one wing, and soon thereafter drifting into sleep himself; a sleep full of dreams both pleasant and peaceful.
