Synda roamed the lands within the pride. She looked around making sure everything was alright and no dangers were hidden for the smaller cubs. After the birth, the tan lioness was determined to get her "figure" back. This walking helped, as well as watching the cubs and teaching her two oldest sons to hunt. Speaking of which...
The blue lion crashed into the ground right beside his mother. His wings were slightly unfurled and dirtied with the sand. His rump was in the air, forelegs horizontal to the ground. He looked up at his mother giving a grin that mirrored his father. "Allo!" As Synda was about to scold her son, both lions heard the familiar call. Quickly, they both trotted toward the boarders.

Listening to Nebula roar sent a chill throughout Reid's spine. It was so powerful and deep, an extention of the lion it came from. But he said nothing until he saw a blur of tan comming down towards him screeching to a hault once it hit him.
Laughing a little, trying not to cough at the sand now going up his stuffed nose he looked down at the cub. "Hello there.. I'm Reid. Annd there's no way you're not the little Nova that I heard so much about.." Smiling he bowed to her.
"Pleasure to meet you Little Miss..."

Nova looked up at Reid, a broad grin spreading across her face. Rolling to her feet, she posed a little over dramatically and declared as he bowed, "Yes, I am the Great Lady Nova...Oh? Little Miss...I like that nickname! And it's a pleasure to meet you as well, Sir Reid..." and with that, she bowed to him in return.
Nebula couldn't help but chuckle as she watched her daughter. "Maybe I should of told you she could be a drama queen...?"
"Mama!!"
"Okay, you're a clown, that better?"
"Mama's mean..." Nova pouted looking up at Reid. "Is she that mean to you too?"
Holly was giggling up a storm as she was finally set down beside Nova and she swatted at her playfully. "Your mama's not mean!"
Blake was studying Reid closely, unsure of why he looked familiar. It'd been a long time since he'd last met any of Synda's friends from childhood, and it wasn't until he heard him introduce himself that he relized who he was. "Reid! How wonderful to see you! Just passing through? Synda will be so pleased to see you again!"

As she came closer, she spotted the retarded giraffe she knew and loved well. Running madly, she gave out a huge roar."REID!" The lioness tackled her long time friend wrestling the other to the ground. A broad grin crossed her face as she looked at him. "Reid! Synda glad to see Reid! What Reid doing here?" She blinked a little then getting off the big lug, she turned to Nebula and grinned nuzziling the lioness. "Synda glad Nebula returned safe and sound. Nova missed Nebula greatly." She looked over at the tan cub and smiled.
Halo caught up a little bit after his mother's grand entrance. Grinning over at Dad, he then trotted up to Reid and Nebula. "Hey, Nebula. Glad to see you home safe." He gave a welcome nuzzle to the older lioness then looked down at his little sister and Nova. "Have you two been good to Dad or causing trouble?" He winked at them, his wings fluttering a little.

Reid laughed and then got down to Nova's level. "I'm with you... She hasn't been mean to me yet, but I deffenatly see some potential." Looking up he grinned at Nebula, to show that he was completly joking. Standing back up however he looked down at her and spoke with an insiteful tone and a smirk. "Though, A queen you will one day be.. What kind is up to you, Little Miss."
Reid was about to enquire about the other little femme with Nova when he heard his name called out by Blake. "Blake!" He gave a formal bow to the King on his own lands. "It's nice to see you too! My appologies for being a little under the weather.. I can't wait to see Synda!"
It wasn't moments after he spoke those words that he got his wish and was tackled down by his tan friend. With a grin he was taken down to the ground and he nuzzled her before she got off. "I accompanied Nebula here back to the pride, it was a pleasure to do so. And how could I pass up the chance to see you and Blake?!"

Blake nuzzled Synda before lowering his head toward Nova and Holly. "Oh, you should of seen them! Little hellions they are!" He winked at them and got a double swat to the nose from them both. "Ow! See? Awful cubs, just awful!" He settled down to tickle them both for a moment before turning his attention back to Reid. "Let me introduce the family...not sure where Neo is, but that handsome gentleman sporting the wings is Halo, and this little mongrel is Holly." He got another swat on the nose from a giggling Holly and proceeded to go back to tickling her. "How we ended up with such awful cubs is beyond me."
Nova managed to wiggle away from Blake and sat between her mother's paws to look up at Reid. "I'm not sure I want to be queen...lotsa responsibility. Maybe a princess...yeah, that'd be cool. I could settle for Princess Nova nicely."
Nebula leaned down to nuzzle her cub, still chuckling lightly at Reid's joke and her daughters antics. "Now calm down, sweetie...there is much to talk about tonight. Blake, Synda...Reid and I have much we wish to discuss with you, and with your leave I wish for Reid to spend the night here with us."
Blake, reading a bit more into her words, grinned. Maybe she'd finally found what she was looking for? "Sure, I see no problem with it. Synda?" He looked towards the sun, realizing that full darkness was not far off at all as the last of the sun's light began to wane.

"Of Course! Stay as long as Reid please." Noticing the light, she looked about. "Hmm, dark soon. Pride shall go to the den and chat?" She asked them all. Flicking her tail, she picked up Holly and Nova and set the little "hellions" on Halo's back. "Go take children to cave, Halo. Synda, Blake, Reid, and Nebula follow." She nodded licking the three on their cheeks. She then returned to the proper place at Blake's side hipchecking him playfully.
"Yes Moms." He began to trot slowly with his sister and Nova on his back. "Alright you two, how about we devise a plan to get at Dad, huh?" He whispered grinning mischeviously at the two. "That way, you can get him back for calling you two little hellions." He flicked his tail speeding up a little wanting to get to the cave before it got dark. In the desert, it got dark quick as well as bone chillingly cold.

Reid watched Blake enteract with the cubs then nodded as he introduced his children. "You two have beautiful children... They must get the attitude from their mother.." He said laughing looking over to Synda.
Then he looked down to Nova and winked at her, "That I do believe is more possible than you think it is..." With that he let her ponder and he looked up to Blake and Synda with a smile.
"I do appreciate it much, Synda." He grinned as he got his lick on the cheek and waved with his tail to Nova and coughed as soon as the three were out of earshot, a cough that he'd been saving up, not wanting to scare the cubs.
"Much better..." With a smile he looked to Nebula and nuzzled her.

Nova gave Reid a questioning look, but was interrupted by Synda picking her up and putting her on Halo's back. "Gidyap, lion! Whee!" she squealed as they started off ahead of the adults. "Ooh...I like, what ideas do you have?", she asked to Halo's suggestion, putting her paws on his head, and balancing her back paws on his shoulders.
Holly giggling behind her, not saying anything for a moment, but clearly ready for anything that might involve playing a joke her father.
Blake watched the his children return towards the den, wondering if they might try to get back at him...he wouldn't be surprised, and he had to admit he deserved it. Oh well, he'd find out when the time came. Reid's cough, however brought him back to the present and a bit of concern to his face, though he smirked lightly to see Reid nuzzle Nebula. "Perhaps we should hurry back, as nights here get very cold and very dark very fast." For a moment, he thought about initiating a race when Synda hipchecked him, but discarded it as he hipchecked her back and ran his tail down her hind end letting Nebula and Reid set the pace. He was concerned about the other lion's cough and wondered just how bad he felt.
Nebula nuzzled Reid in return, a very concerned look on her face when she heard his cough. Taking Blake's hint she took the lead, setting a pace no faster than the one they'd had upon coming, neither wishing to wear Reid down any faster than he probably already was, but also not wanting to keep him out in the cold desert air longer than neccessary and risk worsening the infection.

Neo yawned and walked to the front of the den. He had tooken a nap and was now just waking up from it. He licked his paw and sat down. He saw the rest of the family coming and a male he did not know. His ears were poked up to try to pick up a name but they were not close enough for him to hear anything.
He looked up in the air as he saw Halo carring Holly and Nova. "Hey brother! Holly! Nova!" He shouted to get their attention. He smiled and stood up getting ready for thier landing.

(( Halo was walking, hun. He doesn't fly with others on his back, yet sweatdrop ))
"Brother!" Halo grinned at Neo, his tail flicking gently. "You finally decide to join the land of the living. Mother and Father have guests." He flicked his tail back at the two other adults. "Nebula is back and she has a friend. Apparently, it's a friend of Mom's and Dad's too. His name is Reid." Halo, stopping near the entrance, lowered himself onto his belly to drop the cargo. "Alright you two, hop off. We'll discuss the plan later." He winked at his sister and Nova nuzzeling them both.
Synda, as well, was concerned. Blinking a little, she looked over at Reid. "Reid, what ails? Reid cough as if hairball stuck in throat." She tilted her head a little staring over at her friend as they walked slowly. "Synda...has a little bit of medecinal herbs for when children get sick. Synda could possible help Reid if Reid says what ails."

Neo smiled at his brother. "Really! Cool!" His smiled grew larger. "What plan?" He asked slightly confused. "I want in!" He stood up and pawed at his little sister, and brother. He looked back out at the adults coming in, then looked back at his brother, he just relized his brothers joke. "Hey! I was not dead.. Just sleeping!" He laughed.

Reid smirked a little, through his misery he was happy that he was cared for so much by his friends. It'd been a long time since he'd felt that everyone gave a s**t, and it was nice.
"Some medical shrubs would be nice.. Thank you Synda..." Reid really was the one setting the pace on their walk. Once they got back he licked Nebula's cheek lovingly.
"So..." He motioned for Nebula to talk, it was more her place to start the convorsation that it was his. It was her pride afterall...

Holly and Nebula hopped off Halo at the same time, both taking a running leap to try and tackle down Neo, giggling like mad as usual, and both talking at once. "When Mom asked how we were, Daddy called us little hellions..." "And we're going to to get him back!" "You can help! Yeah, this is going to be so much fun!"
As they gathered near the den, and Blake had finally finished introducing Reid to Neo, he grew silent and watched the new couple together, a touch of a smile curling at his lips. It was obvious to anyone they were in love...
Nebula, after nuzzling Reid and taking a deep breath, still waited a few more moments before speaking. She was nervous and having never done this before (her previous mate had been a wanderer with no family), she honestly didn't know where to start, or what to say exactly. Leaning a little into Reid as she sat down as if to draw mental strength from him, she looked at Synda and Blake, more nervous than she thought possible for one such as her. "Reid and I...well...Reid has been kind enough to invite me to come to his Pride and spend some time there, and I wish to ask for your blessing to leave with Nova and do so..."
She actually mentally slapped herself for sounding like a cub asking permission to spend the night at a friend's pride and took another deep breath to steady her nerves. She knew there was nothing to truly worry about now, as the cubs were nearly grown and with Inari around there was still plenty of help to keep the pride going when she left. Okay...time to spit it all out. "Blake...we once talked about finding where we belong, and how you told me how you found it both in this beautiful place, and when you met Synda...and I believe that I have found my place as well." She honestly wasn't sure what else to say, that wasn't expressed in that statement alone. She didn't want to say she would become Queen of Reid's pride since in all technicality he'd not really asked her, even if it was obvious that's what he wanted. Maybe it was a bit-old fashioned to wait for him to ask her, but that's the way she was....and "old soul" after all.
Holly's ears fell and she snuggled in her mother's front paws, looking between her and Nebula. Tears were starting to form in her eyes and she asked softly, "Nova's leaving?"
Nova, however, just kinda sat there with her mouth open, not sure whether to be excited about the upcoming adventure, or sad to be leaving her best friend behind....
Nebula leaned down and took her daughter in her paws and nuzzled her head gently before turning to Holly. "Yes, that would mean she is leaving, but not for good. If your mom and dad agree, you'd still be able to visit each other anytime. Just think of the adventures...more places to explore together...I'll personally make sure you two see alot of each other, sweetie."
At that, both cubs perked up noticably and began to practically stare holes into Blake and Reid respectively, hoping...and waiting...
Blake, more to make the cubs antsy than much else, gave a serious look to the adults (and a sly wink to tell them he was only playing), "That's a hard decision to make. I have enjoyed having you here, and giving you up would be difficult and I'm not sure I could do it. What do you say, Synda?"

After bowing to the little Prince Neo and smiling through his cold he sat and waited for Nebula about to take the reins himself, though thankful when he didn't have to. Reid nodded and stayed close by Nebula as she spoke, supporting and agreeing with everything she said.
Once she had finished talking he added in, "Yes, no worries at all Nova. I'll bring you over here myself if I have to. And I have a son at home that will be thrilled to be your new friend. Though he's a little younger than you, he's very good company." He too winked at the cubs then looked up to Blake and Synda.
"My friends, I will not hide my intentions from you, I would very much like to make Nebula my Queen and Nova my Princess if they'll both agree to it. I've only known Nebula for a short amount of time but I do love her and would like to make her my mate for the rest of my life, however long that is." He was trying to hide his physical misery in his voice so that they knew he was being true. Speaking of the two brought back that compassion he had in his voice only when he spoke of things that meant the world to him.
