*If you once got a ride in Bessie at a con and it's still your fondest childhood memory. redface

Lucky! That reminds me:

~You wish you could ride in Bessie.
~Every trip to Border's involves going to the DVD's to look for Doctor Who DVD's and while others may be happy with the selection, you find it really disappointing (I still am disappointed that they never seem to have many - or any! - Third Doctor stories when I go over there!!).
~The Doctor Who Guild has become a sort of second home, whether or not you post much.
~Adding to the astrobiology textbook one, if during a class the teacher says something about how things that were sci-fi in their childhood turned later into science and about how that makes them wonder what we could come up with in the future, all the gadgets that come to your mind are from the show, you may be a Whovian. Also, other related class things.

I need to stop thinking of Doctor Who during astrobiology redface

Hah! Borders is that way for me too! And this guild is a second home, indeed. ^^
Oh, how 'bout this one:
~You hold a multiplayer RP of Doctor Who in the back section of a topic that nearly died, only to keep it incredibly active. wink

You create a scene in the grocery store when you find jelly babies. (I'm in America, they're rare!)

So I'm in Canada, but still RARE!! And I was willing to drop ten buncks on a tiny package. I'm on a no-support-from-home university budget. Ten bucks is a lot!

Quote:
~you emit in audible yelp of yayness when Christopher Eccleston appears in the movie Elizabeth, which you watch in World History class. Then, in every scene he appears, you wiggle with excitement, and expect the TARDIS to appear in the background.

YES! And I found another Who fan at the same time. No one else could figure why we were giggling like nutters after that.

~ You squeed when you found Let Him Have It at Vallue Village
~ You squeed even louder when you found a shop selling Who Books
~ You go to visit said shop weekly to caress the books and curse your lack of money
~ You're starting to incorperate British words into your vocabulary.
~ Your Mother's car has been named Bessie
~ You learned to knit
~ You've convinced/forced people into watching the show (I find The Empty Child particularly good for conversions)
~ You snigger to yourself when walking around with a banana and jelly babies tucked into the pocket of your leather coat and an overly long scarf around your neck.
~ You really want a dalek

You seem to constantly be finding people who look like one of the Doctors. Mostly Nine and Ten, but anyone playing with their suspenders reminds you of the First Doctor.
Your Doctor Who/ Torchwood RP character is eventually permitted to take on a life of her own, and now very nearly recommends books for your English project and you can't hear the song "I Will Survive" without imagining her singing along. (Yes, as you could maybe guess by that song, she's an ex-companion.)
Watching the classic series often appears a more pressing concern than getting your homework done.

O_o You just wanted to see the shower scene again...I know it. rofl

...just finished watching Pyramids of Mars...again. And ooh!! Speaking of things that tell you you're obsessive...the man who voiced Sutek in Pyramids of Mars (#4) ALSO voiced the Beast in the Impossible Planet and the Satan Pit!

For anyone who recognized the voice but couldn't figure from where. blaugh

I got my mom (who adamantly thinks DW is stupid -gasp- to watch Father's Day with me nonstop, and she said it was good!!!!!!!!!)

If you've watched "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad" more than 5 times just to see Tom Baker as the evil Wizard Koura! rofl Hey, it was the role that helped him land Doctor Who after all! So you HAVE to love it! blaugh

If you think the strange-looking advert for BBC World News on BBC America is a Doctor Who advert, heralding the return of the Doctor to BBC America! That wasn't me, that was my sister, but I'm pretty much in withdrawal too... and no, she's not insane, it honestly looked like sci-fi.

I've never seen Sinbad, but I did rent "Nicholas and Alexandra" once just because Tom Baker and Michael Jayston (the Valeyard) were in it. Tom played an indestructible sex-crazed monk... mrgreen
