Mari stood there and bit her tongue trying to decide whether she should ask the question on her mind or not. "Would you..." was all she got out the first time and she shook her head and let out a small laugh because of how she was asking. "Would you like at least one last meal?"

*he looked down at her surprised of what she had said. it made him angry now. it's like she was treating him like a prisoner now* it's one thing to trap me here but now you offer me something to eat? i'm wondering just who is the cruel one here.

She just crossed her arms and looked down at the ground. Letting out a mumble. "I thought that keeping you from eating and letting your stomach acid burn away your insides was more cruel, but I guess I was wrong." She started to walk away and didn't even look back at him.

She stopped and just kept her back towards him. "Yea. I guess, but if I feel uncomfortable answering one, I hold the right to not answer it."

She walked past him and as she walked past, she grabbed the sleeve of his jacket and pulled him behind her. Within five to ten steps, they were in a clearing with a small cabin and a tree with a swing on it. Off to the side of the house in the shade of the trees were two tombstones. Not glorious, but meaningful enough.

She let go of his sleeve and walked over to the porch of her home. Walking up the few steps and opening the door. Inside the front room, Blitz was lying on the couch sleeping soundly, but awoke as she heard the door open. Seeing Smash, she started to growl and her ears bent against her head as if she was going to attack him. Mari went over and started to pet her. "Now, now. He's a guest. Be nice."

Blitz had calmed down and just put her head back down to rest. Mari didn't even realize he was sniffling that much and walked into the kitchen. Pulling a chair out as she walked by so he knew where to take a seat at. "Anything you would like in particular?"

She had a skillet in her hand and dropped it on the stove. She had lost a bit of her patience. "What would you like?" She said this through gritted teeth and just had her one hand clenched.

She took some eggs out of the fridge and a bowl out of the cupboard. She decided to make some scrambled eggs. She sat all the things down on the table he was sitting at just incase he wanted to make sure she wasn't poisoning it. Starting to crack the eggs on the bowl and dump them into it.
