Hi! I'm new and you all can call me Des! Kyo is so cute and he is so awesome! heart heart heart heart heart heart heart I wish there was a year of the cat and I was born in it! I'd rather be a cat then a boar.

Awe poor Kyo~Kun... He is so cute.
Though I would not get rid of any of the animals in the zodiac, I would just add the Cat. Why can't there be an extra year?
Actually some people say that Leap Year should be the year of the Cat, that would be wonderful I think. Which would make 2008 a year of the Cat!
Oh and since I was born on a leap year I would be a year of the Cat too. Hee...
But if leap year is not a year of the Cat then I am a Sheep.

Oh yeah and I'm new to the forums. heh forgot to mention that. *waves* *blushes*

new to forums ^^ yeah....kyo's the best, and i'd have to uh get rid of the year of the....snake....(ayame scares me^^)

no offense snakes out there, it's just takaya-san portrayed you guys a little wierd( as with monkeys )

ALso I don't know how many peple know this but at one point they did think about changing the zodiac and getting rid of the dragon, the only mythical creature, and put in the cat

Really? They did! Actually, even though I'm born in the year of the dragon, I think that would be pretty cool if it really happened. Especially since I love cats more than dragons, and anyway, dragons are the only mythical creatures in the zodiac, it makes us look out of place. I don't like Takayy-san's portrayal of dragons either, I don't want to have my representative turn into a freaking seahorse! How weak is that?

It would have a huge change on the manga though. Anyway, people would be a bit reluctant to get rid of the dragon because the dragon is supposed to symbolise wisdom, and is a sign of good luck.

Oh yeah, I've also heard that in some places, the cat actually replaces the rabbit in the zodiac, which would also have major implications in the manga because Momiji would be the one with the monster form, not Kyo.
