Stryphe scratched his head as he stood, obviously troubled.
"Well," He began, "..."
He stood for a second, then pointed accusingly at the head.
"That sounds like a load of s**t." scream

Snort.
Laugh.
Lean on the sign to keep from falling over.
That's our Stryphe.

The dog sat there, one head barking, waiting for a third question.
Meanwhile, the man in the suit began to head off somewhere.

Face + Palm. Oh well. While Stryphe was busy insisting this was a load of s**t, Disa would talk to the puppy. "You should come home with me handsome. There's no one for you to play with here... unless you count that guy in the suit over there."
"Speaking of playing, we could play fetch. You might like that." At which point she looked around before finding a small piece of wood on the ground and picking it up. She waved it in front of the canine, as anyone would when trying to get a dog to play fetch.

The cerebrus' middle head began to pant, and it's tail wagged. The other two heads shook a 'no,' but the central head certainly looked interested.

He cut to the chase, figuring the Cerberus wouldn't be agitated. Oh well.
"So where is it?!" He demanded from back at the sign.
"Left head, please."

Disa grinned broadly. So it was under the puppy. "Come on handsome, you know you wanna play. Come on, get the stick. Go fetch!" And Ulfdisa threw the piece of wood.

Thinkthinkthinkthinkthinkthinkthinkthink - Lightbulb.
James just stuck his hands in his pockets and waited for Disa to start playing fetch with it.

And with that, he stepped up to the three headed dog. He was rather close- a few more steps and he'd be able to touch it. His halberd rested on his shoulder, unthreatening.
"Move please?"
He ignored Disa and the middle head's need to play, addressing either the left or the right head. If the dog moved, then awesome. But if it didn't, he'd be ready to negotiate verbally.

"NOOOOOOO!" the left head cried. "This turn of events pleases me!" the right head exclaimed. "ARF ARF ARF ARF ARF ARF ARF ARF ARF!" the central head barked. "ARF ARF ARF ARF!" it added for good measure. Sure enough, there sat a marble. It smelled of dog butt. Quote: StonewallColor: Dark Blue Get +5 Defense. The Defense bonus goes away when you take this off, so if you only have 5 Defense left, I'd advise leaving it on. The two excess heads fell off--literally, fell right off, leaving two dead dog heads--as the it transformed into a normal doggy, happily retrieving the stick for Disa.

Since Disa had no problems with picking up a marble that smelled like dog a** she reached down and plucked it off the ground. "Men..." She examined the shiny before tucking it away in her pocket and turning her attention back to the now normal puppy. She was a bit sad that the talking heads were gone, but oh well.
