Flare Sithfallin Being a lavamancer and a Saurian, Lilith was immune to damage by fire. The shrapnel hurt quite a bit, though, more than a few pieces embedding themselves in her form. She was heavy, but still thrown backwards a bit, rolling a few feet to land in a heap on the road. Within a groan, giving no outward sign of pain though her body felt like hell, Lilith would struggle to get to her feet.
Sieg would look out, to see that his partner had realized what was about to happen and he was ok. Sieg was very reassured by this. SIeg would place his back to the alley wall and peak out to get a glimpse of the lizard woman; trying to check her conditionn. Though Sieg had noticed something else. One of the shrapnel pieces would had cut one of the electrical wires landing in the pool of lava. Another shrapnel piece had impacted a wire on the other end.
The explosion had caused a firehydrant to pop. The pipe was bent in a certian angle towards the area where the girl fell. the electrical wire would land inside the broken firehydrant pipe. The water would fall onto the lizard, conducting a massive amount of electricity through the arch of water. Siegs eyes would widen at this strange event of chance. If the lava extended out to meet its master, it would also bring a heavy electrical current.
God must love him.

((Sieg: No.
Sorry, you don't get to have random freak chances of nature kill the boss for you. I doubt that it's listed on your bio that you can.))
Lilith did indeed speak Gaian. She was having one b***h of a time getting up...on one knee, she looked up in Gareth's direction, serpentine eyes narrowing in disdain.
"Why should I trust a human?"
She wouldn't even have spoken to him, normally. But even through the haze that the marble had brought with it, even through her hatred for all non-lizards, even through her pride...
...Lilith knew when she had danced with Death.

((lol. It was worth a try. I wont argue.))
Sieg could move in for the attack but even though her physical body was injured that didnt mean she didnt have control over that lava and he didnt want to risk getting too close without the back up of a weapon or powers where her control would probrably be better. He would step out from the alley and say; "I have no hate towards you or any type of being. This is not the time for a duel. You help us, We help you."

After that motorcycle guy had his say, Gareth added:
Gareth: "Y'see, I have this policy of dealing with a thinkin' creature: we're all god-damned equals. If it was me sittin' in that puddle, barely able to git up 'n fight, hell, I'd want someone to help me out."
To show his word, Gareth lays his pistol down on the hood of the car...he keeps one hand near it, but he's no longer threatening her.
Gareth: "You want help 'r not?"

((Does Gareth have any other visible weapons on him?))
The scorn did not vanish from her eyes. Her gaze flicked to Sieg, then back to Gareth.
"You are weak, then."
To take the risk, or to not.
"I am not as helpless as you think."
To prove her point, straining the muscles in her legs and tearing the shrapnel wounds further open, she stood. Wracking pain shot through her, but she showed none of it.
"...where is this healing of which you speak? You have not the look of a fire priest."

((He's got a shortsword hanging at his left.))
Gareth is a bit surprised that the saurian can still stand, but tries not to show it.
Gareth: "Not sayin' yer helpless...though that must hurt like a b*%&^."
Fire priest? She mentioned a fire priest...
Gareth: "I'm no priest..."
Suddenly, his mind goes back to the Circle, and the clerics there...clerics!
Gareth: "...but there's a place that c'n fix you up and get you on yer way. I'm sure they'd fix you up..."
Suddenly, he is struck by inspiration.
Gareth: "...for a price, that is."

You will bleed out in no time with all though's wounds, you need to make your decision now", Sieg said in a rather harsh tone. He wanted to make the situation clear to her, all of there lives depended on it. With Sieg and his partners reduced power and the lizard girls injuries,t hey would all just end up killing each other.

"Take me, to this place," Lilith demanded, her voice coming out ragged and weak despite her efforts.
Though it may be hard to tell, with her guttural way of speaking Gaian.
"We can talk about payment, when you prove to me what you say is true. Until them, you lead. I will follow, no less than ten feet behind."
And the lava she had summoned was going to stay beside her.

Gareth smiles and picks up his pistol, shifting it so he can easily slide it back into its holster.
Gareth: "Glad we could come t' an unnerstandin'."
He pauses, and as if on second thought, he flips the pistol to aim at the lizard woman.
Gareth: "Seein' as you've got insurance, we'd better keep some too."
He motions with his head at the path to the Clocktower, hoping the motorcycle guy caught it.
Gareth: "Thatta way."
Without a second glance, he starts walking...almost. As though struck by a thought, he retrieves a piece of shattered car mirror and angles it so he can see the saurian behind him..and where the barrel of his gun would aim a projectile.
Gareth: "Jus' to make sure there's no funny business outta you."

Sieg was weak, but Siegs 'weak' was normal to everyone who was normal; he would be ok at least for the time being though if he didnt get though's marbles he still woudnt last for long. Hopefully that amount of time was enough to get this chick to the Circle or all sorts of death was about to pop off. Sieg noticed a few vehicles that had been abandoned due to the battle and the risk of said vehicles exploding due to the lava. Sieg would walk over too one of these vehicles, the one that Gareth used for trouble. As he did he would signal over to the lizard woman to follow. Simoutaniously he would say to gareth in his deep yet smooth voice,"Whats your name man?", Sieg would notice that the man had actually begun walking. As sick as they were, they woudnt make it on there feet. They had to use a vehicle."None of us will make it to headquarters in our conditions. We need to drive, all of you get in. Unless you have some other mode of transportation.""

Gareth could keep watch on her all he liked; Lilith wasn't silly enough to try anything for the moment. Her eyes were constantly looking left and right, though, half expecting him to lead her into an ambush.
She would follow where he led, staying ten feet behind, the cubic foot of lava marching before her. It could be a trap. It was probably a trap. But it seemed worth the risk...
At the vehicle, though, she shook her head. "I will not get into one of those. If you wish me to follow, I walk."
In the back of a vehicle, she was too vulnerable.

Gareth responds in his own rough baritone.
Gareth: "Gareth Mordant. An' you're...?"
He shakes his head at the lizard woman.
Gareth: "I didn't think you would. Walking's fine by me."
As Gareth says this, he is startled to realize that he means it. For some reason, he feels pretty darn good...could just be the adrenaline, but he wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
