History: Edward as a mortal embodied movement, action, the ability to do things. He simply needed to do things, move. He was that boy who everyone was good friends with, but no one really took seriously, that boy who played every game but never really won. And the best thing of all? He didn't care. He didn't need to win.
Upon meeting Darin, he found his other half-- not the sexual half, but the half who kept him from, you know, dying and all that stuff. Well, mostly. The brain. The problems came after Darin found the love of his life, Darin died and became a vampire, the love of Darin's life died, Edward became a vampire-- and then they traveled all around America together, seeking some sort of... something. Darin was looking for it, Edward tagged along, per usual.
And then Hawaii happened. HOW THE HELL DID HAWAII HAPPEN?! Edward still can't figure that one out, how he and Darin suddenly got vaulted into power from nice, safe obscurity. Obscurity = good. Safe = good. Nice = good. At least, that's what Darin said, but then he came home one night and said that he was Prince and Edward his Seneschal. The world was ending.
Then it ended.
