Zyan took the napkins in appreciation and dabbed what stickiness she could get at without it attatching itself to her cone.
"Yah Chains are really neat, though sometime they can be a draw back. I often see guys pullin on the chains that girls wear and i could find that annoying. Though with all my legs that shouldn't be a problem. most guys tend to back off from me anyway...." She should correct that to most people. Only d-corp children ever bothered to say hello to her, since she was just as odd as them.
She seemed to be deep in thought for a moment. Her memories reflecting on when she met Nero, he was very similar to her..she missed him. Sitting up she quickly refocused on the task at hand. ter was with her, he didn't mind her extra legs and barbs and wings. he thought they were cool! and so was he!
"I met a girl who said she used a staff to fight, " She recalled remembering Ala the koala girl. "i personally have never been interested in learning to fight with weapons...why bother with i have weapons that are appart of me?" she continued trying desperately to not make a mess.

Ter tried for a moment to picture someone brave enough... or would it be dumb enough? to try to drag Z around on a chain. He was pretty sure that the girl would show that person who was boss... and add a lot of extra holes to their body at the same time. He couldn't help but grin at that mental picture, "Not brave enough to tug your chains." Ter said, teasing his friend.
Ter took a napkin and spread it out unfolded on the table so that if she dripped some it would land there and not on the table itself, "Alaqua? Met her once long, long ago." When he was little and she was little.

She looked up giving Ter an impish smile and laugh. "Yah anyone foolish enough to tug my chains would have me to deal with!" She replied proudly getting what Ter was emphasizing with his tease. It wasn't like she really wanted to be feared, she just was. Though...Ter was nice, she wouldn't mind if he tugged on a chain or two.
"You met Ala?" she asked thinking back to her hiding in the weapon shop to get away from her brother. "I wonder if you have met anyone else i know. . ." SHe trailed off thinking of how it was like a small world. Most people knew each other in some round-about way.
"You mentioned you won a sword fight....was it exciting? Hard? Why were you fighting?"

"Been while since I saw her." He admitted, he wondered what ever became of her, she seemed quite nice from what he recalled but it was a bit vague what he remembered since it was a while back. His tail tip swished back and forth in though, "Maybe, I know a few people." Some more well liked then others.
"Was exciting, first sword fight." Against someone that wasn't his night stand at least, "Hard some, almost lost but... ended up ok. Wrapped him in my coils. Next time... need to win with just sword." He sounded pretty confident about his skills though whether or not he was actually as good as he wanted to sound... that was yet to be seen.

Zyan listened in interest her cone hovering over the napkin that ter had placed on the table so catch the icecream drops. She found it interesting that Ter would like to fight with a sword...of course it wasn't like he had several spears of weapons attatched to his body like she did.
"It was bad using your coils against him?" She questioned wondering why it was a bad idea to use your own talents to help win a fight. But she then didn't really understand the point of fighting unless you were determined to win.
Being the way she was she knew how to pick fights based on weither she was agile enough, strong enough to win. Her near perfect accuracy perhaps made her arrogant when it came to hand to hand. Her added legs often made people too frightened to fight her anyway.
"I am glad you won though, you are strong you should always win." she emphasized with another nod of her head,, pigtails bouncing with the momentum as her icecream then slid from her cone and landed onto the napkin with a splat.
For a second she stared as her now nakid cone, the ice cream melting in a oozing puddle on the napkin. She was clumsy at times....it seemed.
"oops.."

"Maybe. Was class for swords." He wasn't sure if he got that counted against him but it did rather make him want to learn something where he could use them to their fullest, "Wonder if there is wrestling class." He mused.
He then looked over at Zyanya, "Take with me when your older? Mantis style versus Snake Style?" He had no idea if there were a snake style but she said that ninja's taught Mantis Style and his favorite show had a ninja called 'Snake Eyes' in it. So... one never knew.
Ter's coils gave a happy sort of sway when she told him that he was strong and should always win, it was only adding of course to the snakes already large ego but... it also made him rather happy at the same time.
Then his attention was distracted by her ice cream as it took a suicidal leap off the cone and onto the napkin. He blinked a couple times then laughed, "Next time want a bowl instead of cone?" He asked her. An innocent question but it also put forth the idea that he would like to see her again, bring her out for ice cream or what not again. He liked Z.

Zyanya gave Ter a sharp look when he mentioned a bowl and then sighed and laughed a bit embaressed. "Yah i guess i either need to eat faster or get a bowl." she said trying to scoop up the mess and looked for a garbage bin to put it in. Standing she moved over to the closest one quickly as the napkin was falling apart.
After desposing the mess she turned to look to Ter again. She put her hands on her hips...best she cuold due to the legs and gave him a look of you are joking right?
"Yo.u you want to try and fight me?" She asked with a tone that sounded like she might of misheard. It was easy for her to get into fights, never backing down from a challange but it was different when it was someone she trusted or cared about. Those other people she could care less if she hurt them....but...what if she hurt Ter?
Chewing on her lower lip she then considered that the snake boy was older...and had scales...kinda like armor...so he probably would be fine against her. Not like she would actually try and harm him...no she knew most her skills were meant to kill...and mame. She wasn't foolish, she watched video's on praying mantis's before....never miss their mark and always with the intent to capture and kill....

Ter pushed out of his seat, uncoiling from it and stretched himself out, "Maybe not fight, duel though." He said, there was a difference in his mind between an out and out fight between two people that wanted to tear each other up and a challenge between a couple of people that just wanted to test their skills. He said Z and himself as the latter of the two, "Would be interesting."
"Shall we head out?" He asked, ice cream was done now. He looked at the clock to check the time to make sure he was still doing alright on it and wouldn't be considered late. He still had a bit of time he figured.

Zyan didn't understand the real difference between a fight and duel...perhaps she wuold ask Ter about it later..right now she moved to walk beside him a thoughtful expression on her face.
"It would be interesting to ..fi... I mean duel me?" she wondered what about her made him interested in fighting. Well..now that she thought about it was a more no duh question. But ah well, she was glad to be walking to with Ter, she was getting antsy from sitting.
"Sure where do you want to go?" She asked wondering what Ter had in mind. Already forgetting about her own curfew as she would much rather spend time with Ter.

He nodded his head, "I think so. Mostly want to spend more time with you." He admitted, even wanted to see about taking classes with her when she was older, it would be interested if you asked him. He gave her a fanged smile before he seemed to be thinking on it, where could they go off to next? Where else was interesting around here?
"Any place Z knows of to go?"

Zyan pale face flushed nearly crimson. He wanted to spend more time with her? She. . .went blank for a moment. What did this mean? Was...what I ...
her head settled down to a calmness and the blush faded. She shouldn't go into it too much. She liked spending time with Ter too, she didn't want to make things more complicated by over thinking.
After her moment of silence she turned to face Ter and smiled again. "Hmm...well we ate and got our ears pierced, well you got your lip done...but still . . ." she waved her hand as if to disregard the difference. At the moment she couldn't think of any particular thing to do. Perhaps they could just wander for a bit and talk?
"How about just go for a walk?" She suggested.

Ter tilted his head at the flush and flicked out his tongue, cute blush he thought to himself idly then gave a nod, "A walk would be nice." There was lots outside to see and the walk would help him burn off the ice cream and the sugar rush that went along with it, "There is a path that goes around the park thats not far from here."
He'd been on it once or twice with Baroness after visiting the piercing place, she'd chased after ducks but never caught them. No doubt a good thing since it would tramuatize the other park goers to see a wyvern eating them... not that he cared overly if they were dumb enough to get caught they were dumb enough to get food.
Thus far they were smart...

Happy that her idea was accepted and even expanded she looked ahead and then fiddled with her bracelet on her arm. "I think I know where you mean. I vaguely recall the area..there are ducks over there right?" She asked trying to remember the area but failing to do so. She...had been there once...wasn't there a small park too? With swings and a small jungle gym? She tried to remember but didn't want to sound stupid so didn't ask about them.
"I don't usually spend a lot of time outdoors, cause I tend to wear out quickly." she stated an obvious fact about herself, since she had such a high metabolism she needed to each constantly and if she didn't eat enough she tended to slow right down and she was afraid she may even collapse.
But no worry for that now, she had icecream, that alone would last awhile. Her biggest reason for avoiding sweets....the tended to hit her too hard. Like adrenaline she would have to do something anything it didn't matter...but...she was learning to balance her diet to make it so these sort of things wouldn't happen to her.

He nodded then slithered forward to opened the door to let the two of them outside and gave her a serious look, "Tell me if you get tired? Will carry you." He told her, he didn't want for her to wear herself out to much but if it happened he didn't mind. He liked her after all so it was something he could do for her.
He set to slithering down the sidewalk, walking alongside her in teh direction of their next destination.

Zyan had to giggle as she imvisioned in her head Ter trying to carry her.....avoiding her arm barbs, her extra legs and wings...man she would be one awkward girl to carry.
"no worries.." she said with a laugh, " I am not that frail." She continued, Ter was the first person she had ever told about her metabolism problem, well...her mom and brother knew...but that didn't count. Family just didn't count for a lot of things.
"But tell me, you want to learn swordmanship, but why?" she asked curious.
