Cabel gave Nienna a gentle squeeze, suddenly serious now. "I think it's only natural to be a little nervous, even afraid. It is a big step, you know. Not one to be pushed or rushed, ever." He plucked her hand from his side, entwining his fingers with hers. Once more, the difference in their ages twinged at Cabel's conscience. He definitely didn't want Nienna to think he was pushing her to do anything. Heck, he didn't want to be pushed either. Smiling warmly, he touched his nose to Nienna's, speaking softly. "I figure, when the time is right and if the Guardians wish it, then we'll take that step. What is meant to happen will happen in its own time."
Eudora finished the pear and discarded the core, placing it next to the apple's. Now, she was definitely full; more like stuffed in fact. She yawned and stretched, lying down on her stomach and resting her cheek on her folded arms as she watched Shira. "Okay, had enough," she murmured sleepily, grinning.

Nienna smiles nodding alittle, he was right on that part. She didn't want to do something she wasn't ready for even though she was in a way. Brushing her lips against his she pulls back slightly as she chuckles "Your right, but it doesn't mean I can't explore and figure out what you happen to like. Which from what I gather shouldn't take to long." leaning forward she brushes kisses over his neck then moves to his ear.
"As you seem to like everything I do..."
Shira watch Eudora for a moment before laying down in front of her. She knew what it meant from the yawn as she too thought needed a nap would be nice. Moving her nose alittle she allows herself to relax just watching her friend.

Cabel shivered, her voice in his ear sending chills down his spine. "Ooo...you are a devilish little vixen, aren't you?" he teased, a smirk playing at his lips. He trailed his fingertips lightly down her waist and over her hips. "I'll keep that little tidbit of information in mind...for my own personal use," he finished, a mischievious sparkle in his eye.
Eudora yawned again, shifting a bit to lie on her side, head resting on her arm. "Foods make me sleepy...does they always do that?" she asked her friend, not really expecting an answer. She probably wouldn't have heard it anyway, as she was swiftly slipping off to a wonderful place called Dreamland.

Closing her eyes she giggles trying to keep her own shivers at bay. Licking her lip she looks back at him blushing as she lift her hand to brush over his cheek "You sure you don't want to cool off again?" she was joking because of the last time they both warmed up. Trailing her other find down and over his side again she getting curious again.
The kindof curiousity she had a feeling they would both like...
Shira own eyes fell close as she too always felt the need to sleep after eatting. She kept close to Eudora almost acting like a guard. She would keep the young one safe as she was still partically awake to knwo her own surroundings.

"Do you?" Cabel shot back automatically, a devious grin still playing across his face. He raised an eyebrow, shooting a glance across the room towards Eudora. Well, what do you know...?
Chuckling, he directed Nienna's attention towards the two with a nod of his head. "Take a look. Think the Guardians are giving us a sign?" he teased, kissing her neck. "Hold that thought," he whispered, standing carefully and crossing the room. Scooping up Eudora in one arm and her new friend, Shira, in the other, he headed for the door. "You two can share my room. I'm sure my bed is much more comfortable than the floor," he explained to the bunny, seeing as she was the only one even remotely awake at this point. He smiled down at the pair, cradled comfortably in his arms. Reaching his room, he tucked the two into his bed, letting them sleep next to each other. "Sleep well," he murmured, slipping out the door and shutting it quietly behind him.
Smiling warmly, he rejoined Nienna on the furs, sliding in comfortably next to her once more. "Looks like we're alone for a while," he commented, smirking ever so slightly. "What do you want to do?"
Eudora squirmed a bit in her sleep, snuggling down deeper in the covers. Reaching out, almost unconsciously, she seemed to be searching for something. Feeling Shira's fur beneath her fingers at last, she smiled, inching over closer to her friend and wrapping her arm carefully around the bunny before drifting into a deep slumber.

Sitting up alittle she chuckles watching him take the child then return to her side. Running her fingers over his cheek she shakes her head "No I don't want to cool off, and as far as what to do..." leaning in she press her lips against his for one over the top kiss.
She would just let things happen and see how far they could go before they both decided they needed to stop. Moving she sightly in his lap, maybe the guardian were telling her it was alright. Deepening the kiss her hand venture over his chest then down to his sides again.

"Mmmph!" Although taken by surprise, Cabel quickly melted into the kiss. Far from arguing, he quickly took Nienna by the waist and lifted her into his lap as if she weighed nothing. Cabel chuckled, breaking away for a moment with a smirk. "Only heating things up further, my dear?" He winked at her playfully before continuing in a softer voice. "If you do decide you want to stop...just say the word, okay?"
He stroked her cheek tenderly before leaning in to resume their kiss. He started off sweet and gentle, then steadily grew more passionate. He wanted to show her just how much he loved her...how strongly he felt about her. And even some of the feelings he didn't quite understand himself, just yet...

Nienna nodded pulling back from the kiss, breathing rather quickly she was darker then normal as she look down at Cabel. She just sat there for a moment looking at him, lifting a hand she place it over his heart as she took his hand placing it over her heart.
She didn't know why, but she wanted to know if thier hearts were beating as one. Something she heard from her sisters long ago was if the hearts beat as one then she knew it would be right. She head to see if what they told her was true.

Cabel blushed a bit as she put his hand on her chest, then forced himself to relax. He wasn't sure exactly what she was thinking, but from the serious look on her face, this was something important to her. Perhaps...something symbolic.
Lifting his free hand, he stroked her cheek lovingly, noting with some amusement that his pulse was faster than normal. "You know," he started to speak, his voice low and gentle, carrying some of the content smile that graced his features. "My heart is yours, my love. No matter what the Guardians have have in store for us in our futures. Now and forever...if you will have it, of course."

Nienna smiles then nods as she turns her head to kiss his hand "My sister once told me that if two hearts beat as one, they are meant to be together as one." blushing she closes her eyes hoping she wouldn't scare him. She was hoping he would understand now why this was so important to her.
Her wings flutter as she listen, her heart was racing to the point she felt as if it would come out of her chest.

His own pulse racing now from both the contact and this revelation, Cabel nodded seriously, grasping the intensity of the moment. Of course, now he worried that his racing pulse would ruin the whole situation.
Trying to breathe deeply to calm himself...and failing miserably...Cabel placed his free hand over hers on his chest. Now, he could feel both their racing hearts. He took some solace in the fact that he wasn't the only nervous one, though it made it more difficult to discern the individual heartbeats.
Smiling reassuringly, he broke the silence momentarily. "Shh...don't worry, okay? No matter what, you know I love you, right?" Closing his eyes, he tried to focus on their heartbeats and the rhythm of each. For some time, all he could feel was a jumble of nervous beats and flutters...
...then...
Could it be? He tuned the rest of the world out. He had to be sure.
Yes.
His heart was ready to soar right out of his chest at the discovery and he wondered if Nienna really felt the same sensation. Maybe he'd never heard this idea before now, but in sensing how much it meant to Nienna, suddenly, it was important to him as well. Grinning, he leaned forward, unable to fight the wide smile on his face. "Though, I don't think you have anything to worry about, my dear..."

Nienna could feel each heartbeat, both nervous then slowing to one. Opening her eyes she look at Cabel blushing even more as she lifted her hand from his chest. Brushing it over his bottom lip she chuckles as she pulls away from him to slip off the fur.
Brushing her hair from her face she move toward the foor to check on the two in Cabel's room before looking at her own. Looking back at Cabel she once again lean against the wall just watching him. She was kindof allowing him to decide now what he wanted to do.
With the heartbeats she knew she was going to be with him no matter what. So she was willing to be with him, he just had to come to her.

Cabel watched Nienna curiously. She wasn't even going to say anything? And where was she going....oh.
Blushing slightly, Cabel grinned sheepishly, reaching up to rub the back of his neck nervously. He only paused for a moment though. He looked back up at Nienna, leaning on the wall near the door to her room...
He knew the implications. He knew what she was asking. He also knew that if he went through with it, he'd probably earn quite a few frowns from other Pae'il due to their age difference. But, Nienna didn't act like a teenager. She was special. Cabel didn't know how he knew exactly...he just did. There was something special about her.
It was then that he realized he didn't care what anyone else thought. All that mattered was the love that he and Nienna shared. Guardians take everything else!
Cabel rose to his feet and crossed the room calmly. Pausing at Nienna's side, he smiled down at her and looped his arms around her waist. His eyes were kind, reflecting the warmth that radiated from his heart when his love was near. "Are you sure you're ready? I won't push you." To be perfectly honest, Cabel was a little nervous himself. Though, not nervous enough to actually have any second thoughts. He and Nienna were meant to be together. Even their hearts said so.

Looking back up at him Nienna eyes seem to shift colors growing alittle darker before she nods. The same warmth in his were reflecting in her own eyes. All this time she was worried because she wouldn't understand what the guardians wanted from her. But in truth she knew that they wanted her to be happy. Cabel made her happy, she understood it now.
Wrapping her arms around his neck she pressed herself against him as she stood on her tiptoe "I love you Cabel, and yes..." pulling back she look over at her door then back at him. Even though she was blushing and nervous she wasn't running away. She would be right there with him, and in the morning she would wake up next to him holding eachother.

Cabel smiled, noting the subtle color-shift in her eyes. She was so beautiful...and she loved him. The thought was staggering...and empowering at the same time. And when she blushed like that...
He held her close, closing his eyes and pressing his cheek against hers. "I love you too, Nienna. With all my heart." Suddenly, he crouched and scooped her into his arms, holding her easily bridal-style, though he didn't know the term personally. Grinning mischieviously, he simply held her like that for a while, pausing in the doorway with a sparkle in his eyes.
