The unicorn started to smile ever so slightly as he felt gentle fingertips brushing up and over his cheek into his hair. He had never imagined that such a small and simple gesture could have ever felt as good as it did, there was evidently something strange and wonderful about his dear Raines touch, and he found that it was very difficult to stop his hands from gently stroking over the inviting expanses of soft pale skin, especially where it was a darker pink, it was simply unavoidable.
It was also true that Ira himself had never had much by way of experience, and so he tried acting on impulse, tipping Raine back over his arm a little had felt good, feeling the butterfly stretch a little against his chest, and the kissing? Just brushing their lips against each other felt like one of the best things in life, so he continued, opening and closing his mouth ever so slightly against his dearests lower lip. His eyes cracked open just a little to steal a small glance at Raine, curious to see how he was fairing.. And was delighted by the sight, the smile and the blush.. It was quite exciting in all honesty! He flicked his tail in delight and smiled a little more in response, the arm around the butterflys waist tightening to pull them that little bit closer as he murmered contentedly into the kiss.

Raine almost found himself wishing that this wouldnt stop.. that he could just carry on kissing his lovely best friend forever... that they could always be curled up this close together. But he was so new to this, and had obviously not worked out the magical trick of breathing thorugh ones nose... Slowly, pressing two seperate little kisses to Ira's lips as he did, he pulled back, just leaning his head away a little more. Automatically he missed the soft shifting pressure of Ira's lips against his. The gentle open and closing of his mouth had felt wonderful, anda ll of a sudden he was craving it again. "Ira.." he mumbled, feeling suddenly shy at the strange, wanting feeling within him... it was almost more... it was almost as if he needed to feel that again... it was like nothing he had ever experiance before.. never ever anything like this... He leant forward again, rubbing his nose gently against Ira's cheek, just wating to keep close contact with him, not sure what to say.. and not entirely sure his voice would let him speak anyway... he was trembling again, and automatically he found himself shifting closer to the lovely unicorn.. he was such a safe haven to Raine, and all these feeling that were so scary at first, suddenly started to feel nice...

Ira let Raine have his breathing space, truth be told it was a small welcome relief to him as well, though it didn't stop him wanting to continue, it had been truly the most intensely wonderful feeling he had ever experienced to date. And he wanted just a little more of it. His breathing was a little deeper, and with a warm, slightly embarrassed little grin he gently huffed one breath against the butterfly's temple as he settled against his chest quite comfortably again. Hiding perhaps..? He didn't mind for now at least, and closing his eyes he happily rubbed the bridge of his nose over Raines temple then against one of the sweet little antennae.
He felt slightly tingly all over, and the peculiarly enjoyable sensation wasn't helped along by the butterflys gentle tremors. It concerned him ever so slightly,, He was pretty sure that he hadn't upset him, or had he..? Again the pale eyes opened, and lifting an arm to cradle the back of his dear dear friends head he tilted hi back only a little and gave him a close look.. And kissed the tip of his nose while he was at it, fingers curling gently against his side and into his hair, "Raine.. Raine, dear, are you.. Are you alright..?" He eventually managed to ask, his breath a little shakey himself now.

Raine nodded, barely surpressing a giggle at the nuzzle to his tickly little antenae. "I'm fine.." He managed to quietly mumble, his voice want quite behaving for him as he smiled at the small kiss to the end of his nose... "Its.. its lovely.." he murmured again, lifting a hanf, relaxed back in the Unicorns arms, and trailing his fingers up the other males cheek, and then back down through his hair once more. "I dont know why I'm shaking so much.." he smiled slightly.. it was so strange.. one moment they had just been sitting eating fruit together, and then somhow they had gone tumbling into eachothers arms... "I think.." he said quietly, looking up through his long pale tipped lashes, "That... I'd really like it if we could kiss again Ira.." He blushed again, the dark rose spreading up his pale cheeks as he forces him slightly timid eyes to stay on his lovely friend. "I think I'd like that very much indeed.."

The unicorn was certainly glad that there wasn't something wrong with his dearest friend, it was some sort of reaction to their.. Kissing he had to guess.. It had been having all sorts of odd effects on himself, that was for sure and he squeezed gently as a handful of the soft white hair he had at the very base of Raines skull, placing a soft slightly open mouthed kiss to his pale forhead. He loved watching him blush, the pretty dark contrast spreading delicately across his skin, and he just knew that the already present colour across his cheeks had darkened if only marginally when Raine had suggested kissing again. He had wanted to, he really really had done.
"Well.." He began, dipping just a little, his eyes half closed. It felt right, "I'm glad that you're.. We're.." He pressed a little closer, his lips just lightly pressed to Raines, "That's we're.. Enjoying this I.. Suppose..? I.. I love it.. You.."

Raine smiled slightly at the gentle touch against his lips again.. he let his eyes fall closed again, as it felt weird to have Ira go all out of focuss. He listened to the mumbled words, but was returning the gentle kiss before the last part could really actually clarify itself to him.. his eyes fluttered open again and he leant back, a little more suddenly that he had meant to, meaning he had to cling onto Ira to stop himself from over balanceing. Slowlyhe blnked up at the Unicorn... "What did you say Ira..?" His voice a little dis-believing.. "Because... I.. I dont htink I heared that right.."

Ira had enjoyed their brief kiss for as long as it lasted. He hadn't really know what exactly it was he had said, the words had just come tumbling out like that.. He'' He loved him..? He had just said that.. The thought that he had admitted something without meaning to made him want to curl up into nothingness, it was embarrasing and horribly so.. Soon his cheeks were stained a dark shade of pink, much like Raines, had been and he dipped his head as the butterfly questioned him on his words. "I-I-I didn't, I.. I m-mean,," He stopped and started. He knew that it must have been truthful otherwise he simply would not have dreamt of saying it, that he loved his dear little friend. He was very nervous that saying what he had would damage what he did have with Raine, what if it was something that he hadn't wanted to hear. He kept his eyes and face down, his hair mercifukky hiding his face away as it burnt with embarasment, "I-I mean I d-did mean it.. I do.. I-If you'd l-let me.."

>>Softly whistling, the highlighted male walked through the forest. That girl was going to be bad at him, getting rid of he two guns she gave. Ah well...they just didn't feel right. He looked up at the sky. If the gun didn't feel apart of you...fit in just right...in a high stakes job, it could cost your life. The male chuckled<< then again, I'm not taking any high staking jobs.

The equine simply sat amoungst the trees, enjoying the peace for the time being. He hadn't strayed too far from his home, he liked the safety of having the massive shire horse nearby, the protector of his somewhat mix-matched 'herd'. He smiled just a little at the thought, the dark coloured lips quirking slightly at the corners his eyes closed for now. Slowly, ever so slightly his eyebrows dipped down into a small frown, he didn't really feel so wonderfully alone anymore, well not as much as he had done earlier. He tensed slightly, one warm brown eye opening to observe the forest before him as he pushed the single long slender braid back over his shoulder. "Is.. Someone there..?" He asked, his voice quiet.. He hoped, in all honesty that he was being a little hypersensetive.

>>Moving about the woods, hands in his pockets, he lowered his head again. Those sharp violet eyes narrowed slightly, catching the blotch ahead long before his ears even had the chance to hear the soft question. His feet became silent on the ground, body tense as he moved closer to the trees, advancing. Course the panda knew that there was no danger really, but old habits died hard. Besides, had to keep his skills up else he might get bad enough for random blobs in trees to spot him!<<

He stayed stock still for the moment, his body tensing. There had been no verbal reply to his question, and once he had asked it, those faint yet still distinctive footsteps had silenced. He trembled, rising to his feet, keeping his back to the broad tree that he had been resting against, the prey animal instincts kicking in whether he had wanted them to or not.. Flight.. His eyes were wide as they darted into spaces between near and distant trees, he lifted a hand very slowly to brush some of his dark spikey hair out of his eyes while he tried to gauge from what angle that this creature would come from..

>>He never stopped, always moving as he passed behind trees to hide himself, slowly moving to the right while going forwards. Now he was a good bit away from where he had origionally started from, feet careful of any sticks or the like on the grass padded ground. He wasn't far now, perhaps a few yards from his 'prey'. Almost...almost...Between trees he caught another fleeting glimpse at his quarry from the side. An anthro, definatly an anthro. Darkly clad, hence why he had seen him. Not too smart in blending into his surroundings, but knowing somethings up by his instinctual plastering himself to the tree trunk. It would be impossible to get right up next to it without being seen, but he could get closer. The panda's hand strayed to where his gun holster used to be, his body half surprised to find it not there. Not like he could have shot the man anyway. The male stopped about three yards from the tree, moving out silently from his own. He had circled around enough so he was directly behind the anthro, thus unseen to him, but ratch had his tree mentally tacked off in his mind. A little bit closer, taking a deep breath<< BOO!

The equines long slender ears strained to hear any noise to indicate where the other creature was, but he heard nothing, just the occasional whisper of a disturbed leaf underfoot, the hissing crush of the forest foliage as it was stepped on. Nothing that would help him in the least, just heighten his fear and re-affirm that he was not alone, that he should be fleeing to the home of his protector where he knew he was safe. The rich brown eyes widened again, tilting his head ever so slightly as his chest rose and fell with each deeper breath he took. Then it happened, the voice sounding like a gunshot in his ear having strained to hear such little noises! Briar all but flew away from the tree with a distinctly equine squeal of fright his feet only just about co-ordinating as he darted with disturbing speed across the small patch of clear forest floor infront of him. He didn't want to fight, not today.

>>Blink...blink...blink...He burst out laughing, deep and rich with his hardened voice<< did....did...oh man! >>That poor blob ran out faster then a prostitute from flashing blue and red lights! He straightened slightly, grinning broadly as he moved towards where he had seen the creature flee, making sure to make a lot of noise<< Hey! You alright? >>Ratch called out, his voice not necisarily loud, but it carried. He could at least make sure he didn't kill the poor critter...and apologize. Okay, maybe just check up on it<<

For a short while, Briar had pretty much managed to blot out the world around him, all he could see was the clear path that he had to take through the trees, his escape route from the monster he imagined was chasing him. He did not hear the laugh, though is he had at that moment no doubt he would have thought it to be malicious, taunting, daring him to stop and be caught. And stop he did in the end, catching one of his booted feet in the roots of a particularly gnarled tree, the toes wedged fast, preventing him from running further. He panicked a little, twisting himself around, his short wild hair flying around his face and his long flowing tail tangling with small twigs on the forest floor. Only then did he stop to listen, still trying to work his foot free.. He didn't hear that creature pursuing him, certainly not in a serious hungry fashion.. He panted, his breathing hadn't yet returned to normal from his sprint through the trees.. He was still scared, he could still be caught!
