Guuya raised his sheathed Zampaktu in the air. "Yay!" He said lowering it again. Then he stopped and had to think. Was this yay? He had an unbelievably hard time with names. Still, wasnt Ryoshi the one who was beating his bag with a stick earlier? Guuya was a bit interested in him because he seemed like he had lost it-but in a good way like a severely old grandpa or a hobo.

Takara shook Gabriel's hand before turning to listen to their sensei. She was finally pairring them off. She listened intently, hoping she would be paired against someone strong; she loved challenges and she would never back down from one, unless she knew there was no chance of her coming out alive from the conflict. Mixed feelings came over her when she was paired with Karite. She did not know if he was strong or not, but she suspected that he would be a tough apponent--one who specialized more in strength and durability. It would be harder for her to give him a vital injury. With a sigh, she turned towards Karite and bowed. She came back up and rolled her shoulders. She spread her legs apart and brought her bokken forward.
"Let's do our best."

He looked to Megumi and he made no motion of a return greeting, his head bowed just enough to cause his strange eyes to be covered by shadow, it was interesting to see that both of their eyes were a little bit different, but he just grinned from ear to earand lifted his head, his red eye seemed to radiate his souyls energy and will, his colouyrless white eye glaring at the man, as if it was peircing into his soul, one eye showing his own soul's energy, the other looking into the other man's. "A splash is never the less a splash, big or small it makes no difference. It is a tidle wave that will be made that will truely be noticed...one day. Haro..." Is all he said, no my name is Haro, or pleased to meet you I am Haro, he just said Haro and in that moment his right foot slammed on the ground, propelling him forwards and towards his opponent.
His eyes still had that intensity and the symbols all over his body seemed to move even more rapidly as they adjusted, they would continue to do this until thy decided that they had a feel for their opponent, that was the secret to his combat skill. That and thousands of years of practice. He just smirked as he charged forwards, seemingly reckless, he then fainted to the left and smashed his left foot to the ground, sending himself propelled to the right instead of the fake left and he spun as he propelled himself, his double scythe's first blade goinghorizontally towards the man's chest. He had made no hesitation in quickly starting this fight.

(Dodge: 19+20 = 39 /Attack: 20+10 = 30)
Immediately, Megumi went from pleasant, to serious, and his arm lifts towards the incoming blade, to let it strike against his handguard. The fun thing about a scythe is that the entirety of the blade for the most part, has that inward curve that makes it so easy to follow with a singular movement. A double-edged one also has both the advantage, and conversely, disadvantage, of being in several areas at once as far as distance goes. While it certainly affords a range of multiple strikes, it also makes it easy to take advantage of. Megumi demonstrates this.
Immediately, upon contact of blade against guard, Megumi scrapes the guard along the angle of the blade toward his opponent. As he does so, he increases the force of his arm movement, and twists so his weapon instead of going up to down, goes down to up. By doing this, he attempts to strike his opponent's weapon center, and strike him harshly with the shaft of his own weapon. If he manages to succeed, it may make a second blow easier to follow up with in the long run.

((holy damn-didley am! Talk about good rolling hahaha, lucky you. I think the strategy of rolling before you write a post is much more effective haha. I will have to adopt it.))
Haro's eyes widened as he saw the swiftness of the movement the man contained and he grinned, loving that face. The man's face had gone hard with seriousness from so soft and kind. Seeing the transition that happened with his own face on someone else made him oh so pleased. He watched the blade coming up towards him and he smiled brightly as he would demonstrate his speed. He stepped sideways, his feet moving faster then the man's arm even did and he used the man's forward momentum against him as he spun the weapon in his hand, and pushed forwards strong. This caused the first blade which had attacked before to be replaced by a fast upper-diagonal slash towards the man's stomach by his weapon's second blade, but ti was poorly excecuted and he knew that it had a very small chance of contact. The man was good, he had barely been able to dodge the previous attack.

Aichou, for her part, just watches the class take place, with the usual bored expression on her face..that is, after leaping off of the sensei's head. She toys with the hilt of her sword, and blows a stray strand of hair that slips out from her hat out of the way. More than anything, this time she's just here to observe and not be bored. There's enough for everyone so there's not any reason for her involvement this time around.
She places her head on one hand, looking bored as usual..but she keeps her eyes on people.

(it is easier that way. You know the situation before you make a reply post, hence better preparation. =D And yeah, taht was lucky, my numbers are usually mediocre. x.x)
(Dodge: 10+20 =30 /Attack: 5+10 =15)
Hmm. This man was fast. He wasn't as fast as Megumi himself..but he was quick. He has a good arm as well. It spoke of excellent training to be able to deflect that attack, especially with such little preparation. Megumi had to think of attack at two angles with this man's fighting style, so think he did. When the scythe comes arching up at him, instead of moving, or blocking, Megumi leaps forward over his opponent, and spins midair, similar to the move he used on Takara at the end of the class. When he lands, back to back with the man, he spins, making a violent thrust at the center of the man's spine.
Had he been using his normal weapon, he'd be striking to fatally paralyze; he was better with thrusting attacks than slashing, so this attack utilized Megumi's expertise to its fullest; calling upon the fencing-type style that Aoibara was famous for..

((Dang...my rolling never seems to be too too good))
Haro breathed in deeply as he watched the man's motion, but he did not bother to stop his blade while was pushing so hard to attack after the man had jumped, he went with the motion of the attack that he had just preformed and smiled brightly as the scythe's second blade smashed into the enemie's attack and knocked it completely aside he. Held the weapon slightly and the symbols finally decided to stop moving around on his body, his eyes narrowed and they seemed to show instead of a look of pure interest and intensity, they lost that dangerous glare to them and became somewhat calm, but yet still eeiry.
He smirked as he stood there for only a moment before he moved yet again, diving forwards with precise accuracy as he swung the double bladed scythe, another weak attack however. He could not seem to get his whole arm behind the attacks he was preforming, though he knew the simple slash towards Megumi still had the slightest chance of a hit. He smiled as he attacked, realizing unlike his previous fight with the extremely intense red-hat woman....this was fun.

Gabriel quickly broke off from Takara, turning towards his opponent. "Rikou, eh? Nice to meet you." He bowed deeply (if rather quickly), then straightened back up and held his Bokken at ready. "Alright, enough with the formal stuff, let's get this going. You can attack first." He took a fighting stance, waiting eagerly for his opponent's first attack.

When this attack came, Megumi took advantage of the fact the man's arm strength seemed less this time around, by using his bought time. When the blade came across, Megumi actually bent his entire body back, in what could only be called a Matrix-style evasion. Still, one had to follow up, and he immediately springs back upward, letting the momentum from coming up guide the actual attack itself.
Once again, he aims a thrust, this time a direct thrust aimed for the enemy's lower chest area; under the main torso, but higher thant he abdomen. The logic behind this is, if the scythe is spun underways in a follow up maneuver behind his opponent's first attack slash, it could potentially block a blow to the abdomen much easier, and an attack at the upper chest only required a shift up motion of the scythe shaft to deflect. Aiming at the middle, would require a downward motion most likely, but also negate the chance of a possible follow-up attack directly. At least, this is how Megumi sees it. Two-bladed weapons can be hard to predict.

((Sorry, I will finish writing this but then I must go for about 3 hours...see what I mean by how my rolling sucks?? I have such bad luck sweatdrop ))
Haro looked to the manuever and he shook his head as he watched it coming, he was not going to even try to dodge the maneuver. he would instead atack at the precice moment that he had hit him. His scythe poised in both hands horozontally at his belly-button level was prepared to strike as he felt the impact upon his body and he winced slightly, a slight glowing beneath his shirt could be seen, but it would only be seen by a trained eye at all if it was seen at all, because it was very quick and only slight.
He smirked then as he felt the blow alot harder then he expected that he would and he faltered slightly, his weapon moved quickly to a verticle position and heswung around in a full circle in an attempt to hit the shaft of the weapon directly off of Megumi's elbow, though becauseof the falter it was a nextremely messy attack, what was wrong with him today? He could not really see how he was doing so horribly...this man was good...but it was his own midtakes that were costing him.

(I'll not attack this post then, I'll just dodge. See ya in a few hours. ;p and I know. I've been there; random random random. >.>)
(Dodge: 12+20 =32)
This was an unusual movement. He'd have to put everything into just getting out of the man's way. Quickly, as the opponent was drawing the weapon into position, he moved his own weapon into 'sheathed' stance. As the attack came at him, Megumi used his quick-draw technique to draw directly up and like a shield, rend the attack motion, and create an impasse. By moving his arms back, then counterpointing the actual motion forward, he was able to avoid. Still, the momentum of the opponent's attack was enough to cause him to slide back a bit.
Just a bit apart..Megumi returns to his En Garde stance, raising his opposite arm, and holding the weapon out. He'd scored a single hit, which was better than he did with his previous partner..but then again, his previous partner fought almost exactly like he did. It's always hardest to fight a mirror, his brother had once told him. It rang true.

Aichou raises an eyebrow delicately, watching the fluid motions of all of the students currently in the process of fighting. So a hit had finally been scored..amazing. It had gone slow for a while, but it looks like things were actually picking up. Some of them might be ready for actual sword combat soon enough, though that may wait a little while. Her arms cross over her chest, and she muses as she watches the sparring kids.
There's some strange energies flying around today. Even with her senses, lacking as they may be in the long run for someone of her level, she can feel it. Her deep red eyes fall over each student..and her face is quite serious. She's seeming less erratic today, except for her entry of course. Maybe it's just because she's quiet for once.

Rikou sighed slightly and grasped the hilt of his bokken, "All right, but I have to tell you I'm not the best attacker." He said truthfully as he poised his weapon in an upright position and assumed a defensive stance.
Almost halfheartedly he swung the blade down at Gabriel's shoulder. He had little actuall intent of striking but if one happened to pass his clearly more determined opponents defense he would be set for the day.
