Akutenshi prowled along a large branch on all fours, narrowing his eyes at Aaron slightly. "And who is that, my prince?" The rouge Firebender asked the air. He had a tendancy to talk to himself, having been alone on this island for a good two years.

"Are you traviling along Araon?" Zuko asked politly. He and Araon were close friends a few years ago before Zuko was banashed.

"Yeah Zuko I wish to travel with you for a while. Later I wish to speak to you in private there are a few things I need to speak to you about." Aaron seemed a little tense, but only because he sensed somebody was watching them, "It has certainly been a while since I last saw you Zuko. I am glad to find you in good health all but your face that is. I heard about what had happened I am very sorry that I wasn't there to help you."

Akutenshi growled silently, eyes narrowing at this 'Aaron' person. The rogue was getting a little territorial at this point, even though technically Zuko wasn't his - yet. He crept further out onto the branch, still hidden behind the broad leaves.

"There was nothing you could do about this." Zuko said covering the burn. "But you may travle with us, for the time being we're going to wait here till the storm passes though." he nodded in the direction of the storm that was coming. ((lol Zuko's the center of a growing lovetriangl, and he doesn't even know it hehe))

Aaron growled in his throat, "I can't take this anymore." Aaron charged at the boy hiding in the branches ready to fight. "Come out you b*****d and face us. Your presence is pissing me off."

There was a brief blur of motion and Akutenshi was a few branches higher. He balanced easily on the balls of his feet, hands on his hips and he smirked at the Earthbender. "I think not. It's simply a waste of energy. And your presence is quickly becoming unwelcome on my island. You're bothering my pets."

Zuko blushed when he reconized the voice and was glad his uncle and crew went ahead. "Araon, it's not good to get the natives mad, now come on." he said and started to pull him away, still blushing.

Aaron looked at Zuko and saw the look on his face. Since Aaron had a soft spot for Zuko so he went with him and left the guy who had been spying on them and the one who had snuck a kiss on the boy he loved. "Alright, but only because you asked me to leave him alone. Oh btw I still need to talk to you." Aaron waited till they were alone and looked at Zuko. "I am sorry I left, but I had to know if anybody was left alive in my family and village. There is something else I have been wanting to tell you for years now, but I have been afraid of how you might tract. Zuko," Aaron blushed and took in a deep breathe, "I care for you in a way I kow I shouldn't. Prince I love you and I have for a long time now." Aaron had finally told him and he was glad he had, but he was a fraid of how he would react to his confession.

Akutenshi had seen no need to see the prince back to his encampment, now that he had that Earthbender boy to keep an eye on him. The logical half of his brain was yammering at him to stop being an idiot and snap out of it; the prince was not his 'territory.' However, the other, instinctual, feral half of his brain wanted to run that Aaron kid off and keep Zuko for himself. Which made absolutely no sense, since a prince would be very unlikely to want to have anything to do with a 'traitor' and a 'deserter' like him. The rogue growled under his breath, becoming more and more frustrated as he leapt from one branch to another; he didn't really need to concentrate at the moment, since most of his movements were instinctual and it hadn't started raining so the footing wasn't slippery. He walked in the trees like others walked on the ground...
He was off to check on his pack to make sure they were all settled in and comfortable for the storm, covering ground rapidly and nearing the pack's cave-den.
