Kherubim Usually, I tend to like manga and it's anime counterpart about the same. However, I definitely enjoy the manga more in Tsubasa's case. It's funnier and the characters are a bit more developed. Don't get me wrong; I adore the anime as well. I just prefer the manga. Also, as previously stated by little_kitty_chan, aka sakura, the fight scenes are just kind of....I'm not really sure. Don't get me wrong --I do like them. But as she pointed out their clothes weren't even ripped. In the manga, Fai, Kurogane, and Syaoran all looked great during those fights with holey clothes and stuff. In the anime, though, it didn't even look like they'd been through anything. But that's probably my only real complaint. That and, in the episode with the Oni fight--when Fai and Kurogane were fighting it and that girl at the bar was singing. That song seemed to fit well with what Sakura and Syaoran were doing, but it seemed really mismatched for Kurogane and Fai's *fight*scene. It also made the fight seem really slow, I thought. Of course, I didn't really care much for the song itself.I just thought that was done much better in the manga. Other than that one song, though, I've enjoyed all the music, especially the opening theme. Also, in the manga, we get to see Sakura, Mokona, Fai, and Syaoran get rather tipsy and I thought that was so hilarious in the manga! xd Sadly, I don't believe that was in the anime. Wow, that was long. sweatdrop ^^ Couldn't agree more! I also wanted to see them drunk in the anime... but apparently... Bee Train has made this anime rather serious than funny.

sweatdrop yeah theb anime and the Tsubasa movie are more serius than funney... so Stick to the mang! mrgreen xd

the anime isn't bad, gotta admit i was blown away by the first episode cause of how they sync in the music... heart but it just got weird after a while, things i found were ...odd. like mentionied before, about the battle scenes..it felt ruined. and how syaoran is animated in jumping, holding, expresion, fighting....it makes me sad......hence, i really really really heart the manga...cause the details are there, proportionate, full of expressions.....is it simply love for CLAMP? ...probably not...im not sure..manga is better than zee anime * in my opinion...*

I totally agree with you. The first episode is the best, and then it got really weird... however, I think the animation and character design got better in the end.

the manga is better because its just easier to go through and you can have the voices any way u want them to be and its just funnier xp

I most times prefere the anime to the manga but its one of those things that you should leave it as it is and when i say that i mean in the manga.The manga has alot more humour then the anime and the fight scenes dont quite match up as you expect them to be but its like BlackLotus4 said the first episode ,of the anime, was amazing because of the music and how the characters got introduced (or at least thats how i thought).So i would defently have to say stick with the manga but in your spare time watch the anime. 3nodding heart

I like the manga because the anime had at least one dumb story line.... like the one with the stone and the god in the temple with the fighting.

to me, the book(in this case, manga) is always better than the movie(in this case, the anime).
i dunno.
there are things that are only ever funny in comics, things that can only be done with movies, things only exciting in books...etc. but in the end, i think the book(manga) is the best. i mean, thats where the movie comes from, ne?
also, i hate to say this(cuz anime fans might kill me), but the effects in the anime of trc SUCKS.
the lack of fast reacions, the horrible expressions, the horrible fights(not violent enough. werent kurogane and them supposed to be at a risk of life and death, not just minor scratches? and syaoran. isnt the feather supposed to be powerful enough to make it hard for syaoran to defeat fat son-sama? hello?), and so much more. i hate it....and now its gonna be dubbed! DUBBED!! why?! *dies...for the billionth time*
