SilverStarboy Lord Thatlatu of the Tofu SilverStarboy I borrowed Max2 from a friend and for some reason, nothing would unlock. It was really irritating and pissed me off. I have no idea if something was wrong with the game or I wasnt doing it right. But anyway, I am surprised you didnt put MAX300 on there Because saying Max300 is the hardest song on a version it's not on makes a ton of sense. rolleyes Max2: most fool-proof unlock system ever: play x songs, unlock something. It even displays your progress. . . Im still kinda new to DDR. I for some reason thought it was on Max 2. Very sorry Sorry if I came across as an a*****e there, I was probably pissed off at something. btw, there are, like, 10 songs on DDRMAX2 that are over 160 bpm. Break Down, Hysteria, Paranoia Kcet, MaxX Unlimited, Burning Heat. . .

Ericyion III Basically no feet involved in IIDX huh... Nope, all hand (or fingers depending on how you look at it) and No.9 is the artist is the Artist. I picked up Max2 the otherday, did a crappy freestyle to A Little bit of Ecstacy, got my a** owned by Burning Heat and So Deep. But I must say to Konami "Where is Nothing Gonna Stop, I want that in another version!" Sorry about the Rambling

Ericyion III Basically no feet involved in IIDX huh... Beatmania III had a foot pedal, but that was short lived. Regardless, it's infinitely harder than DDR will ever be.@XIII: I'm pissed at the lack of Nothing Gonna Stop as well. It's the sole reason I'm gonna download the Japanese version when I get unlazy.

There's some ITG Doubles charts that can compare in difficulty to the hardest of the IIDX songs. But as far as timing and it's importance in scoring goes, IIDX is by far the toughest.
Although I'm sure it would be possible to tighten the timing windows on Stepmania to where it's just as tough.

Hey, has anyone ever tried making a full IIDX theme for Stepmania?
Here's my thoughts:
-Change the arrows all to bars -Change the theme to allow only doubles and solo, AKA 5key and 7key. -Make it so the arrows scroll reverse by default, and are all right beside each other.
You wouldn't be able to "play the music", but I think it would be a fun way to emulate playing BeatMania without actually crappin' out the cash for imports.

I'd rather do popn' music, but that basically is IIDX minus the turntable and with bigger buttons.
