Kev glanced back over at Marlow, a slightly malicious tent to his grin. "Hey. What'd I tell you, huh? Don't f*ck me up too much or your date'll think you're two timing and get all pissy." Of course, on the inside, he was quite overly happy. If he'd been a puppy, his tail would have been wagging like crazy. As it was, his small quirk of a smile was enough to tell the world just how pleased he was. Of course, by the time it appeared on his lips, he had turned from Marlow and back to his lunch mate (for today, at least).

"Kaori, huh... Geez, I hope they don't taunt you or anything 'cos your name sounds kinda like callorie...." Kev murmured as his gaze returned to the cross dresser. "Which means you need a nickname... K... Koi... Kir... Kirk? Ew, no..." Kev frowned, one hip cocked the side, his expression one of pensive aggitation.

"I'm Kev, by the way. Kevin is my real name, but it's a pretty dopey one so I'm Kev," he said, grinning broadly. "Here, we can come up with your nickname when we go out to find a place to sit." He looped his fingers easily around the other's wrist and led him out of the caffeteria and out past the courtyards into the feild. There he finally sat down, sprawled over the fresh green grass. "S'nicer over her," he explained with a small shrug.

Kaori tilted his head to the side. Taunt him because of his name…? Well, he was in a foreign country, but still, he didn’t think there were that many ways to make fun of his name. A slim hand covered his mouth as he giggled at the other’s attempt to come up with a nickname for him. They were all rater odd and he couldn’t imagine ever going by any of them.

As the headed out of the caf to the field, Kaori thought of something that Kev could call him. “Well, my given name is Takashi…hmmm…” Carefully, Kaori sat down, tucking his legs beneath him and slightly to the side. “I guess you call me Ri if you like.” He turned to Kev and gave him a bright smile. “Ri-chan, I like that.” Still smiling, Kaori took a few bites of his food. Kev was right, it was much nicer here than it was in the caf, where the sun was shining and the wind was blowing gently. “That boy with the glasses was your twin, right? I don’t think I got his name either.”

"Reechen?" he asked, cocking his head slightly to one side. He paused a moment, one hand raising to cup his own chin. "I think I'll call you Ritz," Kev said, a blindingly brilliant smile in place on his perfectly pink lips. "Yeah... it sounds descent to me. You don't mind it, do ya?" He asked merely to remain polite (or at least as polite as Kev ever was), but in truth his mind was already made up: Kaori was now "Ritz."

He smiled at the other's question. "Really? How'd you guess. I mean, we may be close but we don't look anything alike," he said, grinning widely. A small giggle escaped his lips. They were identical twins and looked almost exactly alike. "His name is Will and his hobbies include reading and being a total stuck up pain." He said all this with his perfect, gleaming smile in place as he pulled out yet another sandwich from his bag, shrugging happily as he did so. Anyone looking at him could know that he really didn't mean any ill words towards his brother.

“Ritz…???” Kaori sweat-dropped. He didn’t like it one bit, but if it made Kev happy, then he would try to get used to it. Shaking it off, he focused on the information that was given to him about Kevin’s twin and smiled softly. “I bet you guys are pretty close.” He remarked, disregarding the mean things that were said about Will. Kaori knew that siblings, twins, could be like that about each other, but there was always a special bond between the two.

He took out his schedule and began to look over it. Since the day was half over, he only had a few more classes left. Kaori grinned. “I have music next. How fun!” He scratched at his head, realizing he’d have to go back to his room to get his cello. “Kev? Does this school have a fencing club?”

"Yup! Ritz... like the cracker, you know?" Kev quickly pulled out a notebook and a pencil and quickly sketched the ever famous round cracker shape with its charicteristic indentions and curves. Then he added a neck and a face (Kaori's, including his hair), a pair of arms and legs and hands and feet. "See? Ritz," he exclaimed happily, poking the picture with his index finger while his other hand stuffed his pencil back into his bag. Then he put the notebook away as well and took a large bite out of his sandwhich.

"Ehhh.... I think so. You should ask one of the jockeys, tho. I wouldn't really know 'cos I'm in theatre," Kev said with a small shrug.

"Augh! Where is that postman?" Chris exclaimed in exhaustion. He sighed as he walked into the dining hall for a cup of milk.

He looked around for someone, maybe they knew where the postman was. He paid fir his milk and took a seat in a desertous part of the cafeteria, and opened his book. It's not like he was a loner, but he didn't know anyone, and he didn't want to be a bother to his elders.

Much better than the picked apart stew he left on the table, a sandwich was, in fact, a portable meal - and coupled along with a delicious Yoo Hoo, he simply picked it up and left the small crowd that he had chosen to talk about. They were all talking boring talk about girls anyway, which didn’t interest him in the slightest. What did interest him though, was the business prospects for the year. Of course, the money he would make would be approximately double his allowance and completely unnecessary, but he found it to be a great hobby, and a networking tool. The more of these people who had good memories of him now, the better they would think of him in the future when it really mattered. Not that he stood to inherit his father’s company, but he liked to think that he could easily branch out on his own.

He went about the important task of introducing himself to fresh faces in the cafeteria, the freshmen especially. They were always easy to locate, looking a bit awkward, eyes full of vulnerability and the desperate need to fit in. That was their first problem, but Marlow wasn’t in the business of making people cool, though he could be for the right price. “Good afternoon, Gents,” the mussyheaded boy began, leaning on the table of one nervous seeming group. His time in England caused him to pick up a bit of the lingo, and perhaps a bit of a put-on accent on occasion, which he demonstrated now, after a long swig of his chocolatey beverage.

“Name’s Marlow, Cerulean Marlow.” He lifted a hand as one of them opened their mouths, then set his drink down in the table, reaching inside his jacket for his business cards. “Don’t try to say it, Marlow’s fine by me. How many of you are staying on campus? Most of you? Have you been to your dorm rooms? How do you like them?” Barely any time was given to answer each question before he’d continue to the next and pass out his cards. “Well, if you need anything, don’t hesitate to stop by. My reputation is impeccable, and I offer discounts for first time users.” Any explanation beyond that was avoided. Mostly he dealt in contraband, the harmless kind that only mattered at schools. His speech finished, he continued on to the next table and repeated the process, quite satisfied with his results as be began to hear people whispering around him. Excellent.

Will had finished his lunch quite quickly. He had even finished the boring book assignment for English class. But something seemed to be... missing. A small frown formed on the teen's lips. He carefully pocketed his glasses before he jumped down from the tree, landing neatly crouched, back forward slightly. He straightened up and then put his glasses back on, pushing them slightly higher up on his nose.

Kev had his Chemestry book, which he needed if he was going to to get any work done during lunch. Kev and Will had each been sitting outside.... but on different sides of the school. The first place Will searched was the patio... but he didn't find Kev there. he frowned distastefully at the ever noisy inhabitants and then continued on into the caffeteria, which was even worse because it was inside.

But he didn't find Kev there, either. What - or rather who he did find, however, was Marlow. He walked slowly over to the other, wearing his usual cool - but blank - expression. "Have you seen Kev...?" he asked slowly, once he reached the other. He hated having to ask such a moocher for his own brother's whereabouts... but Marlow tended to know all about the people at the school, so he seemed to be the one to ask.

Marlow looked up from his latest audience of fresh meat and glanced up to Will. Immediately, he ran his fingers through his hair and straightened his tie. “Oh, hey... Will!” He was a bit excited to see him, and he smiled a bright white smile. “I wasn’t expecting to see you until after school. Thanks a bundle for saying yes, I’m so glad you want to go with me.” That’s right, he had to spread it around that Will was now his territory for all the newcomers, but he decided to wait until -after- their date. “Kev, huh? I just saw Kev. He gave me this sandwich.” He lifted up the half eaten thing to verify it, then gestured towards the door. “He was with that pretty Asian chap, the one in a dress. Keiko or Kimiko or something girly like that. Probably wanted to be alone, if you get my meaning.

Will, of course, understood none of what the other said at first. However, he wasn't the type of person to ask... or to even respond. He just didn't care. It was just Marlow... so whatever it was most likely wouldn't affect him. And so, because it was of no consequence, he took no notice. As Marlow answered his question, Will glanced down at the half-eaten sandwich. His expression remained blank, but he felt small stirrings of... could it be jealousy? Deffinately. He hated it when Kev gave other people food. Only Will was supposed to...

He small frown formed on his lips as the other continued. Off with the cross-dresser...? That did not boad well... People tended to fall easily for his charismatic brother... and Will hated that. But he knew his brother well enough to know that the cross dresser was not at all his type...

His nodded slowly. "Do you... know where he went?" he asked after a moment's pause, his bright blue eyes fixed intently on the other's.

((Just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit.))

Those eyes. Cerulean stepped back a little when he caught that intense blue gaze coming right at him, and he rested a hand on his heart in melodramatic play. “Oh, Will,” he gasped, “I love it when you have that little angry look. You’re so adorable!” He stepped forward and puckered his lips up, meaning to tease the boy a little bit. He couldn’t help it. Will was so -funny- when he was getting aggravated. “Gimme a kiss and I’ll tell you.” He didn’t really know, which was probably evident from the way he didn’t come out and just say it. He was currently ruining his plans for a peaceful date now, but Marlow was a happy-go-lucky guy, and liked to take chances when he could.

"..." Will was left... speachless. THis, of course, wasn't exactly new for him. He was usually silent, or at least quiet. After a moment's akward pause, he turned away from the other without another word. Will's actions could give the phrase "cold shoulder" a whole new harshness. He didn't even look back or bother responding to the other.

Well... if Kev wasn't out in the patio or in the caffeteria... he would just have to search the rest of the school grounds in persuit of his brother (and his chemistry book - Will didn't even know why Kev wanted his chemestry book when there was no way his twin would have been studying).

Cracker? Of course the cross dressing Asian boy had no idea what Kev was talking about. Kaori leaned in and curiously watched as Kev began to draw what he soon realized was a round cracker…Then it just got weird when the cracker became Kaori’s head and a body was drawn along with it. “…Uh, hai, I get it now…I guess.” A rather large sweat-drop formed at the back of his head.

“Ok, I’ll ask around then. Theater? How fun! Are you going to be in any plays? You have to tell me if you are!” Kaori grinned at Kev, eager to see the boy’s acting skills. He took his map out of his obi and looked at it. Maybe if he went to the gym after classes he could find a coach to tell him. He glanced at his watch and quickly finished his food. “It was nice eating with you Kev, but I have to go back to my room before the next class starts.”

"Well... there's a play we're rehearsing for right now... But I'm not really in it. I'm doing the sets, though, and some of the costumes. I do acting, too, but I really like being in crew," Kev explained with a small shrug and a grin. Kev nodded slowly, taking another bite out of his sandwich. "See ya around, then, I suppose," he murmured slowly through a mouthful of sandwich (fortunately, his mouth was not visible from behind his sandwhich, which he had held up to cover his mouth as he spoke).

There was obviously a bit of a masochistic streak in Marlow, who seemed both heartbroken and intensely entranced by the cool denial by Will. Those who were watching the spectacle could see the resemblance in the pair to a slave and dominatrix - well, the ones who had internet access, anyway. He was eager and excited, and although he had been ignored by Will, he had a large grin across his face as he sat down at a table that was mostly empty except for the one freshman and let out a long, lovestruck sigh. Romance was hard but gratifying work.
