Our show for 2007 is most likely going to be "Halloween". Our school is orange and black, after all!

Songs are:

Toccata and Fugue
Karn-evil 9
Love song from Jackel and Hyde (The boradway show)
Night on Bull Mtn.

It's still really rough (even though our BD has been thinking about a show like this in is head for about 5 years), but we're going to be zombies (some will chase judges and 'eat' some fake ones) for the first and last song. Story behind the show is that we are a marching band that died in some horrible marching accident.

That sounds fun.

Our band played Toccata and Fugue for marching band 3 years ago in our "Spirits of the Night" show. It was awesome. mrgreen

I'm not sure what music we're playing for marching band yet. I know my band director is thinking about a show called "Storm", but it's not definite yet. The music sounds really cool, so I hope we get to do that.

Nope, not Storm after all.

We're doing Scheherazade.
I'm excited. =D

And now we're doing Pirates of the Caribbean.

Make up your mind, Mr. Miner.

.A.k.u.r.a.c.h.i.
It's called "Our Rhapsody" with Rhapsody in Blue and Bohemian Rhapsody
Just kidding, we couldn't get the license for Bohemian Rhapsody.

Now we are doing something about people's souls.

with:
some wedding song for like 30 seconds
then Senzamiah
An aboriginal song about the creation of the world
and a Japanese drum song.

Very random.

Hahaha I read that oo fast and red an abortion song instead of aboriginal ><

We are either doing Carmina Burana or Saucedo's Vitruvian Man. Most likely the Vitruvian man because Carmina is so watered down it's pathetic.

Greatest marching Show: Jekyll and Hyde <333333

I've seen maybe 3 Jekyll and Hyde shows my whole marching career...which isn't long...and two were in the same year...It was good though, considering it...we found out that my school's doing Circuitry...it's reeeeally cool...but it's a bit complicated...We were told that other schools around the U.S. have played it...have any of you seen the show?

Last year we played music from Final Fantasy VII. The year before that we played Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba and Quindam. This year we're going to play a marching band arrangement for Vesuvius by Frank Ticheli.

Tichelli is the shizz. I love his music, it's always so fun to play. I think I've had at least 3 of his pieces.
