"Idiot!" Kai yelled. He silently cursed as all the snakes began to become startled at Inari's actions. The snakes instantly went to attack the rest of the Ulaya that still lay in there path. Kai quick managed to push Crema and Tulio out of the way of snakes. He wasn't very lucky though....

Vaati's sensitive ears could hear the swift pawsteps of the Ulaya nearby, so he need not and dared not look back. He knew well that Inari was older and bigger than he, and though he had the energy of his young age, Inari was sure to have the strength of an elder Ulaya on his side.
Despite his mischievous nature and inability to reason with at times, Vaati was not unintelligent, and he did not want to put his sister in danger. He ceased his leaping through the treetops abruptly, whipping his head around to glare down at the ground below, where he knew Inari would be on in any second.
He would let Inari stop, maybe yell a word or two at him before he would make landfall, so for now he stood still and awaited his inevitable arrival.

InaInari was already far from hearing distance, and far too caught up in his chase to notice anything but the other. Tulio the exception, he wasn’t accustomed to caring much for others, preferring solitude.
His legs sprawled slightly, claws digging deed into cold earth to stop his forward movement. Head snapping upwards he met the others glare with one of his own – more out of reaction than spite.

The young Ulaya blinked, his mouth twisting into a jagged grin, the inside of his mouth glowing chartreuse much like his eyes and extremities.
At this point he pounced off of the tree branch and on to the ground below, staying still for a moment to wait for the shock of landing to wear away. At that point, he raised his head just slightly, eyes meeting with Inari's.
He kept silent, for his appearance was more menacing than he himself, and he meant no ill will towards the Ulaya nor his friends. He was just having a little fun was all.
Of course... these Ulaya knew nothing of him. For all they knew he was a feral beast whom resided in these woods, which he might as well since he was in them so often.
In any case, he waited for Inari to speak first.

"Oof! What the dea... Kai?" Tulio was expecting some sort of prank but It wasn't the case. Tulio's eyes widened and he glanced back to see Inari runing almost out of sight. "Inari, wait! Come back!" He called, but to no avail. Inari was too caut up in running. Tulio paniced for a moment. He couldn't leave Kai, but he didn't want Inari to get lost and be alone either. "I got it!" He piped at an idea. "Crema, stay with Kai. I'll go fetch Inari back. Don't move!" Tulio secretly regreted leaving Kai alone like this, but he also refused to show anyone any for of emtion leading to emotinal atachment. With Ianri as his only exeption. With that he took off in the direction of Inari.

Kai grttied his teeth as a snake sunk it's teeth into his leg. He quickly pryed it off. "Crema, let's go!" Kai growled as he follwed afer Tulio. He had a bone to pick with this "prince." He knew the venom would probably get to him eventually but his anger fueled him on.

Inari kept his eyes locked on the other Ulaya – at least that’s what he thought it was – as he jumped from the tree to in front of him.
A moment of silence as Inari simply looked at the other, he supposed it would have been quite more intimidating really… had the other not been only half his size. ((Shh, I hadnt seen his growing when I typed this. ninja ))
“You’re a Ulaya, yes?” He quickly added “No offense or anything! I’ve just never seen one like you…” Articulate as always, he mentally rolled his eyes at himself. “If you don’t mind me asking… what is your name?”
He could faintly hear the sound of snapping twigs and dry leaves crunching. Still a bit ways off… But from the strong gait probably Tulio, Inari thought.
Looking back into smoldering green eyes he waited for a response, hopeing Tulio would have enough time to catch up before something happened and he’d be moving again.

Tulio could see Inari just up ahead, and could hear Kai shouting behind him. "Dosen't that guy ever just give up?" Tulio mummbled. He quickley slowed down, realizing if he was about to run past Inari. He came to a walk and then stoped at Inari's side. He brushed against Inari litely, but didn't say anything. His eyes were on the Ulaya before him. Behind him he could hear Kai closeing in on them.

Kai finally caught up with Tulio and spotted what had caught Inari's eye. 'I guess I'll have to save the talk for later.' he thought. He eyed this Ulaya down with a grin.

[ Considering there hasn't been much talk of their age until now, we can just say they've been adults the whole time. xD It makes Vaati more intimidating anyway, haha~ ]
Vaati blinked and narrowed his luminescent eyes, untrusting of Inari and very slightly taken aback by his verbal approach, expecting something more hostile or irate.
His eyes looked the primped Ulaya up and down, quirking a brow slightly as another male came nearly rushing by, but had stopped and brushed up fondly against Inari. For the moment, he ignored Kai in order to keep his attention warily on Inari, whom he still was not trusting of.
"Indeed, I'm a Ulaya. I take no offense to it, it's understandable why you'd ask. And my name is Vaati."
Feeling somewhat more at ease after having spoken, he lowered his haunches, still scowling and glaring at the Ulaya before him, body radiating oblivious darkness into the already ominous forest, it was as if his pelt were alive.

Inari could feel his body tensing slightly under Vaati’s glare, fur brushing softly against Tulio’s, his ears pinned back to his head and starring deeply into bottomless green eyes. If he were to be truthful with himself he’d readily admit Vaati’s presence was more than a bit daunting, but as it was he was far too hardheaded.
He nodded slowly at Vaati’s response to his questions, eyes never leaving the other. Peridot gem resting gently above the others eyes, a heavy reminder that this Ulaya by far outranked him in matters of strength.

The wily Ulaya blinked again, eyes, much like Inari's, set on the other's. He noted the rich, purple coloured gem that rested on Inari's forehead. Being a Ulaya himself, he was quite familiar with the rankings of their race and what different hues stood for.
At this point, he wasn't sure if it would be wise to just leave to find his sister, whom at the moment was retracing her steps, sauntering ever nearer to the group. On the other hand, Inari hadn't replied to his answer, of course. He was at a loss.
He didn't wish for confrontation, though he wished his sister would keep her distance from them. Even with her coming towards them though, she was a fair distance away.
His ears twitched to the sound of a nearby owl, some fluttering wings as light shone dimly through the leafless canopy of the skeletal trees.

Tulio could feel the uneasiness from Inari and it made him give off a low growl. This Ulaya gave off a green glow, and it far brighter than Tulio's white glow. Vaati had quite the intimidating look to him. But Tulio didn't think he would go so far as to attack them.

The silence weighed heavy on Inari as it stretched on, and the feeling of breaking the tension grew. He felt more than heard Tulio’s low growl next to him – sending soft vibrations to him.
“Uhm… N-nice to meet you.” He could feel heat rising to his face at his stuttering.

Kai chuckled at the scene before him. He would have gladly been in the middle of it all, but he was in no condition to do so. He could feel the venom begin to creepy on. His legs started to shake underneath him, as he felt his legs about to give out.
