Part of her instincts told her to grab his hand, but she let go, and apporached teh back door of the house, the coral building brilliantly shining many purples, blues, and greens. Knockign on the door, a taller, slightly hunched female answered it, a motherly smile on her face. "Hello dear, is this the guest you told me about? Ahh, come in.. come in." she welcomed in an older, but loving voice. Standing back, she wlecomed in teh teenagers.

Not knowing enough of the language to actually speak it, Dreamstar opted for silence and nodded politely at the woman as they entered. He certainly hoped he wasn't intruding... He looked around the inside of their home and noticed it wasn't all that much different from the one he grew up in.

Ahead lie two plates on a bar style counter, and two bar chairs behind them, Aetera smiled, giving a slight bow of head and headed over to one of the plates. It was fish, filet-style, over sea-bread. It was baked over heated rocks, and some amounts of magic. She smiled. It was one of her favorites, and hoped it wouldn't be too weird for the boy. She patted the seat next to her, laughing softly and smiling.

Dreamstar followed her slowly and eyed the plates hungrily. He'd eaten similar things traveling with Jo and James over the years and it wasn't strange at all. He sat down and began eating as he brainstormed ideas for keeping up his end of the bargain.

She finished it quickly, and said her thanks to the chef. She was eager to get exploring, and always was a fast eater anyways. She fixed her hair, since some of it was falling out of the clip, but, bangs fell out again and she gaveup. They'd win.. this time. She waiting by the door, flicking her tail back and forth, and stretching the web between her fingers.

Dreamstar finished eating quickly and swam after Aetera awkwardly. On land, he would have looked like someone with a weird limp the way he kicked and he knew that. It was why he wanted to go as quickly as possible. "Thank you." He mannaged before trailing after the girl.

Aetera laughed as he attempted to speak mer, and she shook her head as she swam away slowly, not going to drag him this time. She swam up a sand bank, and over the hill into what looked like a seaweed forest.

Dreamstar kept pace with her, but just barely. However, as each moment went by, he was getting more and more used to moving around this way. He peered over her shoulder and turned his head, gazing at the forest for a few moments.

Aetera pushed her way through the seaweed with her hands, and smiled at the area approaching. It was like an unnatural current that flowed down through the lake, and the crystalline beauty of it made her grin.

Phoenix awoke slowly, confused by the feel of cold stone under her. She blinked her sea-green eyes and looked around. That's right...I'm in that Barton place, she reminded herself as she got to her feet, dusting off her coat. Her stomach growled for attention, causing the tiger-demon to glance around for somewhere to eat, deciding on a simple looking shop with a sign saying "Diner."
