Mai had underestimated Tsai's ability. He may not be physically strong but he was mentally and could still play toe to toe with Mai. She landed on the floor after Tsai had swatted her attack away, but soon found herself in trouble when Tsai came rushing towards her with a storm of kicks. She began blocking with both her arms while she was on the floor. "I got to get up!" she gritted her teeth as her arms started to feel pain from all the blocking. She continued to block and slowly rose to her feet.
Upon standing up, she began moving away from Tsai's fury and was soon out of reach from his attacks. Tsai was again vulnerable for attack now that he was in such an unsteady position. Mai went around Tsai and from behind she slid in with a kick attempting to knock down Tsai's arms and cause him to fall.

Tsai continued to kick until Mai was out of reach. His arms felt tired from holding himself up for such a period of time. "Tsk, I need to do more training, if I can't hold up for a few seconds then how can I possibly hold up by myself against a hollow?" he thought as he landed on his back. He forgot that he was in a battle for a second but soon snapped out of it when he saw Mai coming towards him with a kick. He rolled away from his attacker, he was now playing defense in this spar. The battle was pretty much a stalemate, both Mai and Tsai were fighting at each other's level and weren't giving up, it was only a matter of time that one of them tired out and fell.
Tsai was already pretty worn out from just a few minutes of combat with someone at his level. Then he thought about the hollow Two-faced and the sorrow it had caused when it came to Soul Society and attacked the village at the foot of the Aozora Mountains. "If I give up now like I have done so in the past, I will never make anything out of myself, no amount of research will help.." he thought as he looked down for a second.
He suddenly lifted his head and moved towards Mai. He bent over to the ground as soon as he came close to Mai and flipped over and with both his legs grabbed onto Mai's neck and pulled her backwards tossing her towards the wall of the room. He moved around with his hands and got back on his feet preparing to attack again.

Tsai seemed to be totally different in terms of his combat. It was as if someone had given him a book of combat and inputted it into his brain. Mai was not going to go down without a fight however, she was persistent and wanted to win all the time. But Tsai was damn quick this time, Mai flew towards the wall but using her feet she landed on the ground and barely touched the ground. She felt as if she were the one being pushed now instead of the pusher.
The wraps on her feet were beginning to wrinkle and get dirty from the friction of landing on the floor. "Heh, I guess your not playing anymore?" she asked taunting him again. "Well, then, let's have fun then," she smiled with glee as she charged towards him first with a feint punch, spun around him so that she faced his back and with her right foot she kicked towards the spine.

"Let's have fun then," he replied to Mai's taunt as she moved forward to greet him with a few strikes. Tsai was keen to pick up on the feint that Mai performed first, and then spun around with her making sure he did not lose her. As she kicked forward Tsai grabbed her foot with both of his hands and spun her around, causing her to lift her other foot and let her become airbourne. He then backed away to let her drop on the floor. He continued to back away from Mai as she spun so that he was out of range when she tried to counter-attack. He continued to keep his eyes focused on Mai while she spun.

Mai tried to resist the spin that Tsai tried to place on her leg but the force that he applied with both his hands was more than enough to cause Mai to barrell roll but she was still aware and let her hands drop down. She flipped back onto her feet using her hands and got back into her fighting stance. She was being tossed alot and was getting dizzy.
Mai was getting frustrated, this was quite a long spar, she was starting to breath heavily along with Tsai, but her determination to win powered her. "Keep going! Keep going! You can do it!" she continued to say in her mind. Truth be told, Mai was getting awfully tired and had reached her limit almost.
Mai stretched her arms out as if she were a bird and ran towards Tsai, as she came closer and closer to him, she clenched her hands into fists and threw them towards Tsai. This was her final attack, she was too tired to continue even though her mind wanted to continue her body had completely gone over the limit.

Tsai fell to the ground, dodging the punch that Mai had thrown at him coincidentally. He lay on the ground, he was too tired to move or throw another punch. His body had also reached it's limit and he was sweating. He let his arms fall to his side and he began breathing. "You win Mai," he said sounding exhausted, he was disappointed that he did not win but he gave it his best which was all that mattered. He wanted to continue but he knew his own limit and this was his limit. "Good job". He lifted his arm up and wiped the sweat from his forehead and stayed silent. He lay there and waited for Mai to reply.

Mai fell to the ground slowly. There was babbling from Tsai but she could not hear clearly, she was getting sleepy. She soon fell asleep on the floor, she looked as if she were a newborn baby, she just lay there and slept. She was tired, she didn't want to be bothered. Mai rolled over so that her back faced Tsai and she remained silent. "Did...I win?" she wondered. "Too...tired...to care..." was the last thing that she thought of before she faded into a deep sleep.
(I got to go to tutor now)

Tsai got up from his laying position into a sitting position and looked over at Mai. She was asleep. "What the?" he said with a confused expression, it seemed that she had hit her limit too even though she did a pretty good job of hiding it. Tsai on the other hand showed his signs of weaknesses unlike Mai. He fell to the ground again and rested there as he heard the sound of Kaosu's movement towards Ran."Good luck Kaosu, you'll need it," he uttered in his head as he rested on his arms while he lay on the floor opposite Mai.
He closed his eyes and rested, he was too tired to even get up to get a drink. But he had learned something valuable from the spar he had with Mai, he needed to become stronger physically. He began to plan a training program in his head as he closed his eyes and rested. His body may have reached its limit but his mind could still function.
"Kaosu's training program seemed to have boosted his strength and his speed and stamina, if I doubled that on myself, I would probably injure myself but whoever said that it'd be easy?"

A smirk formed over his lips as he leaned back, his hair creating that mysterious shadow over his disfigured eyes like it usually did and he chuckled slightly as he looked to the teacher, even if she could not see his eyes. "Yea...that was my sparring partner Megumi...during the fight he got a little angry because he didn't like my technique. It has a way of doing that to prideful people." He said with a laugh as he kept his eyes locked on the teacher and the smirk plastered to his lips. He was in his own little world as he looked at her, thinking about that battle in every precice details. "Soon enough..." He whispered to himself, jumping ever so slightly as he noted that he had said it out loud and he almost laughed at himself, but instead he just looked away from the teacher finally and to the door, awaiting anyone to walk in, the thoughts of the style-development within his mind were done now, and he was ready to put the two made styles to the test.

Kaosu spun and braced himself, ready for a counter-attack. However, when he looked, Ran just stood there. "What?" Kaosu thought as he stood there a moment. "Is she...gonna fight?"
Kaosu stared at her and noticed something. "She's stiff. No stance at all." Kaosu dropped his stance also, involuntarily, as he ran at Ran again. He raised his right fist to a head-level and tensed. "Straight to the gut. Kaosu thought as he reached striking distance at Ran. He then shoved his left forearm onto her collarbone and swung hard towards her stomach region, with every intent of winding her.

When he moved at her, she made a similar move to the first time. Her body turning, as she let him pass by her. However, this time, she'd decided instead to begin the offensive. So he was attempting to feint her? Well, that was interesting enough.
Bringing her elbow down, she aimed at between his shoulder blades. She turned afterward, bringing her left leg to sweep against his legs, in an attempt to knock him off his feet. If she managed to hit, it would be worth it, even if the damage was minimal.
