Sweet, I still need to think up a background and get a ship’s operating license, captain’s accredited license, and an arms load-out permit. I don’t have the spacehound talent so…I guess I’ll have to pay the bribe to acquire the license.

Yep. When he gets back to school, Johnny's making a Starfighter Merc, using an R-22 Spearhead, the stunt fighter predicessor to the A-wing.

I'll roll stats starting with this post.
The way I do it is roll 4 d6, take the highest three, re-roll ones, reroll twos optional.

Its a short term solution.
I'd rather not take money from the guys who made the system and you do have the book on the way.
