This year it was definitely the flutes.
They couldn't play any of their parts, and it really drove me insane. stare

our low-ish brass section is horrible. we only have one bone[[doesn't play loud enough]], one BC bari, two bass cl [[both of which are complete idiots who never practice]], one bari sax [[who is actually quite good compared to the rest]] and one alto sax [[foot tapping and counting issues here]]... alas, no tuba..

First, the trumpets. While by far having the sexiest two first trumpets, they are way too off tempo for the band.
Second, me, since I am the only oboe and have only slightly the same parts to compare to, and to make sure I come in on time.

Flutes and trombone.
Most of our flutes are preps looking to get their one year of arts credit or just suck, and our trombone just switched from trumpet, which he was never good at to begin with. He hasn't gotten any better.

Alto saxes and clarinets.
Alto Sax reasons They are always speeding up the songs and playing too loud. Seriously. When they're supposed to be pianissimo they're playing fortissimo. And in andante, they're playing Moderato or Allegro. Even at concerts. It annoys the band director heavily.
Clarinets By clarinets I mean ALL clarinets. They can't play certain notes, they're always talking, they play in the wrong key, they play too loud, they play too fast, they sound wayyy off tune to each other. :/

Sadly, the percussion. My band teacher always yell at them. Well, most of the time.
