The stereotype that went around my school for the longest while was that gay men either had AIDS or wanted AIDS, and that they could magically transfer AIDS to you just by being in the same room as you. That one disgusted me. *and with his radiating gayness he gave me AIDS! i'm serious!!*

I think the whole AIDs stereotype has given birth to every sort of variation since the 80s o.O'' I just thought I'd add another one I heard from my parents today XD!! Dad & mom Gay men age differently! They look the same in their 20s, but when they reach their 50s.. you can just tell right away that if they looked weird that they're gay! They either get too fat or too thin.. its some sort of genetic drawback with what they do.

It's true and it'll be fun watching them go into shock too!

Keithing Taking things a bit personally is one of my many faults, along with being apologetic. sweatdrop That reminds me, I haven't submitted outrageous stereotypes my whole time here. Gay and bisexual men are all in it for the a**l sex.Yes, why is it when someone mentions homosexuality, people think a**l sex? There are actually a lot of gay men that do not perform such deeds. None of which including me, however.

I think there was a drastric decline in a**l sex after the recognition of the AIDS epidemic. Not only was it a hassle to prepare for, but suddenly it had a stigma, risks, and condoms attached.
There are always the people who are conscientious, don't want anything to do with it to begin with, or are just simply lazy.
I know what you mean, Damian. There are just moments when the parents can just be ludicrous. My dad's first words upon my coming out were not that I was abnormal (that was his next sentence), it was "But you don't look like a girl!" I'm sure he's expecting me to don some buttless chaps, a harness, and a tutu. All at the same time!

I hate the stereotype that gay men are sluts simply because we can't reproduce. Why do you think straight people have condoms (besides diseases I mean)? It's so they can have sex without the risk of pregnancy. We just have a leg up on the competition. lol

My sister failed to live up to their expectations, so now I also am expected to live up to the failed one and the new ones. Siblings give them something to compare you to. "Don't be like your sister, look at 's children they're rich and successful be like them!" as mutch as i the hole "gays are sluts" or "aids come from gays" i can live with that kind of "stupidity" its just when i have grils and they find out im gay they get all giddy and act like im suddely a chick who knows how to shop and..clean and stuff, personaly i hate shoping unless its for books or somthing you know, and 2 i have no idea what is "in seson" i dont even pick out my own cloths in the monring, i fi had it my way id ware my pjs all day

oh yea and another one that bugs me, that when peopel find out your gay they say "oh its not your fault he made you gay" or "you where foced gay buy him he just confused you your fine now"
