I haven't seen anything about custom songs. O.o
Anyhow Avatar/Fan Art is Gaia related art which they can use on Gaia, you can't use music on Gaia.
So the music is technically commercial use because it's not Gaia related, therefore it would violate TOS 10.2 and 12

If it annoys you to that point that you don't want to see something like this in here, fine. So be it. You want me to add a track about how much I love towns or something? That would make it Gaia Related.

Moonblossom Druki Moonblossom Druki Just wondering, would it be a violation of the ToS if someone sold their Christmas CD, made and performed by themselves, for gold? They're using the reasoning of avatar art to support their actions, so I'm curious if that stands as a valid reason or not. Yes, because avatar art is a digital thing that still relates back to Gaia, whereas a christmas music cd is a physical item and has no bearing whatsoever to the site. I'd ask for a link to handle it, but I'm actually running late and need to step out to do some Christmas shopping crying Ah, alright then, one final question. What if it's a CD download, then? Or download of any kind? Sorry, just got out of the shower. It's still unrelated to Gaia. You're not allowed to sell things for gold, generally. They make an exception for avatar art because it relates directly back to Gaia and can be used on the site. Unless the music relates to Gaia somehow? In which case I believe it's acceptable. But if it's just random Christmas music, it's got not relation to the site. Just doing what's right. Don't want you to get banned, so I left you anonymous and did not provide a link.

Since OCs have no relation to Gaia, they're just a character created by a separate being? I think "Gaia Related" avatar art is because it's got Gaian Items on the avatar. Just debating the issue.

 OCs are usually made for roleplaying on Gaia or to be displayed on a profile, journal, or signature on Gaia, so I dont think they'd count
