Eirnae joins in with Lenore's merriment at the sight of Shina's struggle, her guiding her betrothed up as close to Firi's stall as possible without getting too close to be in the way of Shina's efforts. "As Nyoka said, Shina, do you need a hand?"

"No, I'm fine," Shina grunts as she grasps the edges of the blanket one more time, her jaw set in a near perfect duplication of her mother's determined look.

"Just checking," Eirnae chimes, detaching herself from Lenore's side with a parting kiss to her love's forehead, the moon elf slipping forward to step up on the first of the wooden beams of Firi's stall, sliding both of her hands to either side of pegasus's head. She gently strokes the soft hairs about Firi's muzzle as she murmurs in elven, "We are in a hurry, my friend. I promise to play with you upon our return." Firi gazes into her mistress's eyes with her own gentle gray ones, not trying her manuver again as Shina slides the blanket onto her back and adjusts it as her mother taught her.

Eirnae releases Firi's head and steps back quickly, staying out of Shina's field of vision. "Looks like you did it, dear," she says with pride evident in her voice, even if it is riddled with overtones of amusement.

"Thanks, Mother," Shina replies, knowing that she didn't do it alone, but also realizing that Eirnae had meant well and thus not feeling irked about the matter, "Now I just need to get her saddle on..." Shina peeks around the now still Firi to look over at Nyoka, "Mind if I take up your offer for the saddle, 'Oka?" A nickname that Shina has never chosen to use before, yet has heard in reference to Nyoka in the past. How odd...

'Shina certainly hasn't been acting like herself today,' Eirnae ponders as she returns to Lenore's side, 'First using her staff in her room this morning, then acting like this.. Hmm...'

Shina grabs onto one end of the saddle currently resting on the top inside beam of Firi's stall, her attention then returning to Nyoka as she instructs, "Just get ahold of that side, and we can lift it up onto Firi's back together. Then I'll show you how to tighten and buckle the saddle properly."

'Ah, Shina's using this as a chance to show Nyoka how to saddle up an equine,' Eirnae muses, her left arm snaking around behind Lenore to grip her shoulders as they watch the lesson going on.

Vinyn yawns widely, stretching up her little arms to fan the air as she stretches, her eyes fluttering open to look up at Lenore adoringly. "Mommy?" she asks quietly, her hands curling up like paws as she snuggles into Lenore's chest, "Are we there yet?"

Shina hefts up the saddle and does as she said she would, she gets it over Firi's back and slides it into place, rearranging the blanket underneath it artfully. Then she points and describes what Nyoka needs to do with the various straps and buckles, watching as her sister follows directions to a tea. Once they are done Shina slides Firi's bridle over her head, a special one that does not have a bit, as Eirnae regards such tools as being cruel towards equines. "All done," Shina beams, turning to give Nyoka an impulsive hug, "Thanks, 'Oka."

"Well done, girls," Eirnae compliments her daughters, stepping up to grasp Firi's reins to lead the pegasus out of her stall with care, "Now, let's get to our appointment. Shina, would you take Vinyn with you and follow us?"

Shina steps back from the hug to slip out of the stall, her arms open and ready to receive Vinyn from her other mother.

Vinyn sniffles, her eyes getting watery as her arms go out to Lenore as Shina starts to pick her up. "Noo! Want mommee!" she cries, her fingers clenching air as she looks up to Lenore pitifully.

"Vinyn, it'll be alright, little one," Shina murmurs, cradling her little sister in her arms and rocking her side to side as she tries to calm her down, "We've flown together before, right?"

Vinyn hiccups and nods, her eyes still full of crocodile tears, "Bu..but..I want mommee?" She twists so she can see Lenore better, the arm closest to Lenore reaching out for her longingly.

Eirnae leads Firi out of her stall, stopping when she comes near all of this commotion. "What's wrong, Vinyn?" she asks gently, not releasing Firi's reins, "Don't you like flying with Shina?"

Vinyn gets quiet for a moment as her attention shifts to Eirnae, then back to Lenore. "Mommee?" she asks hopefully, both arms reaching for Lenore now.

"It doesn't," Shina says as she hands Vinyn back to Lenore with a soft smile, "There you go, little sister, you're with mommy again."

"Mommee!" Vinyn squeals happily, throwing her arms around Lenore's neck and nestling her left cheek against Lenore's right.

"Well then," Eirnae interjects as she starts moving again, Firi clopping along behind her, "Let's get going, shall we?"

Shina nods, turning and heading out of the stables at a run, her wings unfurling once she has left the wooden building. She starts to flap her snowy wings as she picks up the pace, ready to take to the skies.

Once Eirnae gets Firi outside she hands the reins over to Lenore, turning to close up the doors and resecure them before moving to grasp Lenore's around her waist and helping her up onto Firi's back, Vinyn in her arms and all.
