Prolixity
((Just gonna start up, because RP generally brings folk out of the walls anyway.))

Prox pushed the door shut behind him with his foot, making sure it shut before he stomped the snow off his shoes on the mat indoors. He brushed snowflakes off the hood of Merlyn's coat, as well. "C'mon, kiddo; I hope you're not going to bite the nurse today," he muttered.

Merlyn sulked. First, he had been stuffed into this bulky coat, then he had been taken out where it was cold, and now he was somewhere he didn't recognize. He shoved his rubber dragon into his mouth and bit it.

Skye Starrfyre
The young lad scrunched his nose slightly as he stuck a head topped with bright red locks into the door of the clinic. He recalled being here once or twice... And his mother had mentioned something in a note about taking his other mother to the doctors. Wasn't there a doctor here?

He shook his head as he peeked in. "Not 'ere, Lo'Dalen... Dunno where they are." He let his cloak swish slightly about him as he stepped inside. If he was going to hunt he was at least going to be warm... It was bloody cold outside.

Whoops... He wasn't supposed to say bloody... But he hadn't said it, had he? Nope. He'd only thought it. Good. He'd leave it that way... Wouldn't want either mum to find out and keep him from adventuring...

Arafel
Arafel yawned, scooting backwards into the clinic as she rolled the double stroller. "Futoeki, is your brother asleep again?" Arafel grinned to the two, the darker haired boy responding with a noise and a giggle.
He didn't really know what anything she said had meant... But she had spoken to him! yay. The baby's mind was soon distracted with gnawing on the stroller bar.

Nio Love
It was way too cold to be outside for too long! Still, Nio knew that Enoh had been spending so much time with the newborn that she could use an hour or two to herself, despite how much she said otherwise. She and the baby were inseparable since they day they'd brought it home but a few days ago, and the same was true for him. He'd managed to convince her to let him take Aurion out for an hour or two, promising to bring him back as soon as possible. She had bundled the baby up in so many winter clothes, that Nio wasn't entirely sure the baby was -in- there anymore. The gurgling sound muffled under the hat and scarf was all he went by. Aurion was attached to Nio by a big sling that held the boy close to his chest.

He stopped at the clinic, walking inside quickly and pulling the fluffy hat off Aurion's head. "There you are!" He coo'd at the child, who looked up at him in surprise. It had been dark, but now there was light and color and EARS EARS MUST EAT EARS. Aurion tried to reach out for his fathers ears, but his hands were so caught up in winter clothing that he couldn't move. His own ears flopped in disappointment.

Nio looked up and blinked. ".. Prox?" He murmured in surprise, shocked to find his friend here at the same time he was. What a complete and utter coincidence!

((.. XD))

Prolixity
Several gusts of cold wind made their way into the clinic as the door opened several time sin succession. Prox looked up from settling himself and Merlyn into one of the chairs in the waiting room. Merl was determined to escape his coat; he was squirming and mewling determinedly and pulling at the garment. Absently, the feline extracted his son from the small coat as he took stock of the new arrivals. A distracted looking boy, a woman he didn't recognize - twins? Poor thing. He nodded to them both with a friendly smile.

The third arrival was familiar. "Nio! Hi!" He raised an eyebrow."I see you've been busy."

Arafel
The woman quickly moved out of the way, to one of the corners to plop herself into a sit, unstrapping the alert of the twins.

The boy squirmed as he knew he was going to be taken from the evil contracption that held him still. And like the others had much trouble moving amongst the bajillion layers of clothing. "nnnn" he whined a bit, finding himself unable to move his arms to greet his mother's embrace.

Arafel gave the boy a light nuzzle, calming the whining for a moment before unwrapping the child. "Ne, you're like a christmas present!" she grinned at the baby, again.. he had no idea what she was saying. But he liked attention just the same so he let out a happy giggle.

Skye Starrfyre
(( Geh... I hadn't realized how late it was. ^^; *quickly writes Keith out* Gotta toss the boy back in here sometime soon though... ))

He gave one last look around, rubbing his hands together for an added ounce of warmth before ducking back outside where his trusty steed awaited... He'd either find his mum's... Or he'd find a nice cup of hot cocoa at home and simply go to bed.

Nio Love
Nio made a beeline for his friend, moving to sit in a chair beside him slowly, after making sure he wasn't about to squish any part of his son in any manner. "Hah, busy. You could say that! But I haven't seen you in so long, this is the first time I'm seeing your boy! He's precious, what's his name?"

Aurion still couldn't move, trapped within layers of clothing. His eyes were often distracted by the twitching, flopped ears of his father, but movement and sound nearby to the side made his wandering eyes turn to the father and kit every so often. He still couldn't necessarily focus for too long on anything, but the sounds of mewling caught his attention more than all, and a single ear would rise an inch or so instantly every time he heard it. Whatever it was, it sounded interesting~!

Prolixity
"This is Merlyn. Thanks, I think he's pretty cute myself." A touch of sadness might have been in Prox's voice, but it was gone quickly enough. "I can tell this one's yours. No doubt about it. What's his name?" He tickled the cabbit-baby's ear, then glanced over to the other person in the clinic, smiling at the unmistakable sound of baby laughter.

Merlyn peered at the newcomers. They smelled odd. He took the dragon out of his mouth, declared, "Ba," and stuffed the toy back in.

Nio Love
"Merlyn! What a name, I love it!" He laughed as Prox tickled Aurion's ear, which twitched instinctively at the touch. Aurion's eyes widened as he caught sight of the great big hand touching his ear, and grew steadily jealous. Bring the ear to me! He commanded the great hand, but it did him no such favor.

"How could you tell?" Nio teased with a smirk. "His name's Aurion. Just about two weeks old, the poor thing. Enoh refuses to let him out of her sight, it's a wonder I got him to myself for the moment." He admitted fondly, clearly smitten with not only the child, but how much his mother loved him.

What was that?! Both of Aurion's ears perked a few inches when the other child let ut a sound, and his head lolled in Merlyn's direction, staring. What was that in his mouth? Bring it to meeee.. he pleaded silently, but Merlyn did him no such favor. He pouted in response.

Arafel
((Ze mor ze merrier <3 ))
FUMP.
The baby hit the floor, his mother giving a worried yelp. The resiliance of babyfat held strong as he simply laughed, it hadn't been that far of a fall. And yay! he was free.
With a bit of concentration he reached his arms to his side. Twist you're body like you've been practacing and.. ta da! He gleed when he was on his belly. Having perfected the great art of rolling over. Then proceeding to attempt the next great art of belly crawling to the noises of mewls and other things.

Arafel watched a moment, holding back a laugh as the baby barely made it an inch, and yet continued on quite determined to get across the room to the others. Scouping him up, he made a bit of a protest only to quickly snuggle against the smell and warmth of the wierd figure known as mom while she awkwardly tried to tug the stroller without waking the other.

She peered at the two, biting her lip some "Aa.. Sorry to interupt. Futoeki wanted to meet you apparently." Her point was proven by the boy reaching at the blurry figures.

Prolixity
"He's got his father's cheekbones," Prox said blandly, then grinned. "Aurion, huh? Hi," he said to the baby.

Merlyn stared at Aurion. Want what? He kittengrowled. His dragon. Nobody else's.

Both felines looked up to the newcomer when she appeared. Prox smiled and offered a handshake. "That's fine. Nice to meet you - I'm Prolixity, and this is my son Merlyn."

Ruveila Hokuten
The door to clinic opened as a female stepped inside, her footsteps almost silent on the floor. Her wings were folded down her back and her tail curled upwards, the nine stingers on the tip of it retracting much likea cat's claws as she noticed little ones afoot in the place. Her wings were black with white cheetah like spots on them. She smiled at seeing the childrena nd took a seat nearby, conently watching them, a onging in her crimson irises.

Nio Love
Nio looked down at his son and poked the boy's cheeks, which got Aurion's attention. He turned his head slowly to stare at the offending finger, before opening his mouth and aiming to suckle on it. Nio pulled away just before the jaws of life clamped over it. Drats! He looked up at Prox with a hazy gaze, before his eyes wandered up to his ears. Edible? Perhaps. He should bring his head closer so Aurion could try. But wait, what was this? His eyes lolled down to Merlyn once more, where they settled once and for all. He had just made a funny sound, and that sound made Aurion giggle. His chubby face broke into a momentary grin as the bubble of laughter rose.

Nio's head tilted up once Arafel joined them, before looking down at the child. "Aww, hey there little one! What did you say his name was, Futoeki? Hi there Futoeki! Give me a minute to unravel Aurion from this tent he's hidden under and you can meet him!" He reached out and started to peel away Aurion's layers, an action which satiated the boy greatly. Yes, release at last!

Arafel
Arafel relaxed a bit, nodding with a smile and letting her hand off the stroller to shake prox's. "I'm Arafel, and yes this is Futoeki," The boy gave a flail that if one imagined enough might have been a wave "And the sleepyhead in the stroller is Iteru. He had a stomach ache lastnight and hardly slept. Nothing serious though. He's just tired..."

She stopped herself from babling on nerviously, smiling as Futoeki grabbed at her attention by making little yips and grabbing at her face. She responded with a "eskimo kiss", the baby's hands clasping on each side of her face giving another giggle.
The twins were fairly easygoing... Futoeki was happy, and Iteru kept fairly quite and peaceful. And Arafel was more than thankful for the blessing.

Ruveila Hokuten
Ruveila shyly walks over to the group of parents and children and speaks, her voice rather soft, despite her rather feral appearance. " You all have such adorable little ones." She says, looking each child over then her eyes glaze over a bit.

Prolixity
"They're both adorable," Prox said, smiling at the twins. "Can't imagine how you deal with two at once. Merl's a handful."

Merlyn, tired of being not paid enough attention by Daddy, screwed up his face into an expression of concentration, dropping his rubber dragon as he did so - within Aurion's reach, if the cabbit baby could see it.

Prox looked up to the other woman. "Thank you," he answered. "Do you have a child here? Or are you hoping for an appointment?"

Ruveila Hokuten
" I was hoping for an appointment. I am unable to concieve a child. I blame myself for that.. my race has struggled with fertility." She says, brushing a black lock from her eyes. " My name is Ruveila, nice to meet you sir." She says with a warm smile.

Nio Love
Nio had just managed to pull Aurion out of the sling he was in, and set him down in one arm for a moment while unloading the clothing with the other, setting it on the chair beside him. This gave Aurion perfect chance to reach out with his newly escaped arms, and stuff his ear in his mouth. A falling plushie caught his attention instead, and his little hand made a grab for it, tiny fingers clamping around the dragon's neck and snapping shut like a bear trap. He pulled it to him, but failed to keep distance a factor and smacked his face with it by mistake. This stunned him to stillness.

Nio turned back up and held his hand out to Arafel. "How rude of me, my name's Nio. A pleasure to meet you! And your twins are precious. Congratulations on the doubled blessing!"

He turned to the newcomer and offered his hand to the woman as well. "Thank you miss!" He let Prox ask her all the questions, focusing on setting Aurion right side up on his lap; only to realize the boy had acquired a new plushie. Or had that thing come in with the stuffing his mother had hidden him in..?

Ruveila Hokuten
Ruveila held out her hand to Nio as well, nodding to him. " You're welcome sir. Boy cub or girl cub?" She asks, pointing to the child he was holding.

Arafel
"Thankyou." Arafel blushed a bit, setting futoeki down next to the other baby, making sure he could keep himself upright before turning her attention to the other parents, and hopeful.
She remained standing, having learned from the last time she sat next to someone... A wagging tail could be quite a bother. And painful for those around someone.

Futokei blinked, glancing up at his mother.. good she was still there. He relaxed, looking arouns him. Focusing his attention on the baby next to him.. he'd really only been around older kids and his brother. So the thought of something else his size intriguied him. Only one thing to do! The other boy was given an investigative poke.

Prolixity
"Don't be too harsh on yourself," Prox said to the woman. "Sometimes it only takes a little help." Then he felt a little swirl of warm wind and hurriedly shifted his attention back to his lap, where a small grey-tabby kitten was now attempting to make his getaway. "No you don't."

Merlyn mewed and scrabbled all four paws unhappily. Foiled!

Nio Love
"Ruveila, lovely name. Aurion's a boy, actually." The child in his lap had become enthralled with the dragon plushie he had recently acquired, repeatedly smacking it against his father's knee. His efforts weren't hard enough to get his father's attention however, as he just wasn't strong enough for that yet. But wait, what was this? Something was poking him! Aurion's violet eyes rolled to Futoeki, and he bent his head down as much as his father's hold would let him, trying to catch the poking finger in his mouth.

Ruveila Hokuten
She nodded to Prox, scratching a horn thoughtfully. " True enough. What do you call your little one there?" She said, motioning to Merlyn, pulling a small teething ring from her bag and offering it to him. " I always cared for my sibling's cubs when they had them but I never was able to concieve myself and I long for a child very much.. and I only hope this clinic can help." She says softly, her wings fluttering a bit.

Ruveila Hokuten
Ruveila blushed a bit, not being used to hearing complements. " It means Wings of Love in my native tongue.. my mother always had a taste for unique names... and Aurion.. what a interesting name. It suits him. So are you a single parent?" She asks, tilting her head to the side slightly.

Arafel
((And.. I don't mean to ignor you or anything Ruveila. Arafels just kinda.. not talkitive XD))

Futoeki blinked as his tiny finger was consumed by this strange new being. His eyes widened some as he stared curiously, ofcourse Iteru did this all the time.. Or he might have given a suprised noise. But... This thing wasn't Iteru. It didn't smell lik ehim or anything! Oh the mysteries of life.

Prolixity
"This is Merlyn." Prox scratched behind the kitten's ear with a fingertip. "Change back for the nice lady, kiddo." He looked up at the second statement. Was that melancholy? "Don't give up," he said quietly. "It's never impossible. Through modern science and magic, if nothing else. It's worth it."

Merlyn latched onto the teething ring with all four paws and attempted to bite it. It was a larger bite for smaller jaws, and after a moment he did indeed shift back, somehow managing to hold onto the teething ring. He stuffed it immediately in his mouth as soon as he could, not yet noticing that his favorite toy was missing.

Ruveila Hokuten
Ruveila nods and smiles at Merlyn. " I figured the youngling there could use something to knaw on.. so daddy doesn't become a chew toy... I have been through the "chew toy" experience many times and its not something I'd be eager to go through again." She says, retracting her claws.

Nio Love
Sucking on fingers was fun. But not as fun as sucking on long ears that kept flopping into his face. Hey, there was one now! Aurion pulled away from the poking finger and reached out with his chubby little tiny hands, pulling the corner of one of his own ears into his own mouth with a happy gurgle. His father pulled the ear out of his mouth almost immediately.

"Wings of love. That is a beautiful phrase to be named after! And thank you, my wife chose Aurion. Though, I had some good ideas for names too.." The last part he almost sulked out, still feeling a little poutish for not being able to name his child Baby. Or Nio Jr. Come on, everybody loves Nio Jr.! He pulled the other ear out of the outreaching little hands before Aurion could pull that one into his mouth too, and the baby let out a bubble of discontent. "No, I don't think I could have ever created this little angel on my own, my wife is at home taking a much needed little rest. Plus I got to steal him for myself for a little bit, didn't I you little terror?" He spoke to Aurion toward the end, tickling the baby's stomach and eliciting screeches of laughter in response.

((Edit: Gnite Arafel!! heart ))

Prolixity
"Usually he chews on his dragon, but we've been through the whole thing about Daddy's fingers and tail not being chew toys more than once," Prox nodded, smiling.

Merlyn bit the teething ring again. This thing was satisfying to chew on - almost better than his dragon. ... Where had his dragon gone? He dropped the ring promptly and looked for the toy. Gone! He began to make the little hiccupping noises that meant he was going to start into a full-out wail if not quickly headed off.

Ruveila Hokuten
Ruveila smiles and scratches one of her elven ears thoughtfully. " Well you and your wife made a beautiful little one. I never actually thought about names for a child of mine... other than naming a daughter after my mother." She said witha slight nod, chuckling softly at the boy's happoy laughter. " Amazing.. how much you can learn from watching your child greet the world.. who knew that giggle could sound so lovely and that bannannas make the best fingerpaints... oh dear me.. I am going on here.. sorry about that."

Nio Love
Nio beamed proudly, and grinned at her rambles. "Oh, don't worry about it. We don't know what we're talking about half the time, especially Prox here. Sometimes I'm pretty sure he's not even speaking english." He tugged the plushie away from his son to try and get his attention, as well as refuse to look over at Prox after teasing him. Wait.. dragon plushie? Nio held up the dragon plushie that had mysteriously appeared in his son's chubby little hands, and eyed it. "Wait a minute. Now that I think of it, Aurion doesn't have a toy like this.." He murmured, looking over at Prox. "Has my child somehow acquired your boy's dragon?"

Throughout, Aurion held up his hands, making grabby hands for the plushie that his father held out of his reach. Hey, hey that's mine, I found it fair and square!

Ruveila Hokuten
Ruveila reached into her bag and pulled out a fuzzy teddy bear plush and held it out to Aurion. " Here you go little one." She gave Nio a gance as if to say "That should distract him."

Prolixity
"I'd take offense to that if you weren't right," Prox grumbled, bouncing Merlyn to try and calm him down. Merlyn refused to be calmed, winding himself up towards a good, hysterical fit. He was distracted by his toy, though. There it was, in that person's hand! He grabbed at it, nearly unbalancing himself in the process, and stuffed it sulkily back into his mouth.

"Yes, that's his," Prox sighed. "He never lets go of it. Well. Almost never."

Merlyn angled his ears at Aurion smugly. It was his and his and his and nobody could have it.

Just then, a nurse came out from the hallway. "Merlyn Sarihe?"

"That's us," Prox said, and stood, hoisting Merlyn onto his hip. "Nice to see you, Nio - come visit sometime, at the shop, I don't know if I told you I'm moving back into my old quarters." He gave Ruveila a quick smile. "Nice to meet you - good luck."

He padded back towards the back of the clinic, due for whatever checkup had brought him and the kitten here in the first place.

((I have work inthe morning. >.>;; Thank you for the RP.))

Ruveila Hokuten
Ruveila nodded to Prox. " Thank you and good luck with your son."

(( I'd love to rp more but my fever just spiked againa nd I have been sick with the stomach flu for days.. sleep calleth me.. thanks for RPing with me you two ^^ I will be back for another RP when I get to feeling better.))

Nio Love
((Np, I'm heading to bed myself, also work in the morning. XD Us guys, working hard for the money, maaaan. <3 Thank you both for RP! And btw Prox, this entire thing from when you started is in my journal, feel free to gank if you need to. =3

Edit: *Edits post since Ruv left* <3))

Nio released the dragon to it's rightful owner without a fight, but Aurion's eyes followed it all the way back to Merlyn, receiving a smug glance. He didn't understand what was going on, but he had no more plushie. At least.. not for a whole second. A bear was suddenly in his view, and his attention turned immediately to it. This would be an acceptable substitute, yes. He made grabby hands for it.

"Thank you Ruveila! That could have been a potentially loud situation, but luckily you were prepared to diffuse it." Aurion merely shoved as much of the bear into his mouth; which surmised to nothing more than an ear.

Nio stood when Prox did, and reached out to pat his friend's shoulder in an affectionate goodbye. "I'll take you up on that! I haven't been to the shop in quite a while. I'll see you soon!" He let the man and his boy head off, before turning to Ruveila.

"Well, I guess this is where I must say goodbye! It really was a pleasure meeting you, and thank you for the teddy! Aurion is very grateful."

He began the painstaking process of re-wrapping his child in his winter clothes, before giving Ruveila a quick bow and waving goodbye. Aurion, with the plushie still in his mouth, could not wave goodbye - as his hands were once more trapped inside the abyss of winter clothing.

You allways see in movies how the baby starts crying at 2 am, and then the parents fight over who gets up.
Not with us...
And i mean the fightning, they DO cry at 2 am... and 4 am. and all other ams.
Not that i mind, we were sleep deprived before they got here, atleast now we have something to show for it, ne?

Anyhoo. We both get up, because when one cries the other does. It's insanly hard to figure out which one had the problem to begin with. But... I think we're doing well. Freize is a great father...
And Futoeki and Iteru are wonderful children. Iteru is much less trouble than Futoeki, but then again Futoeki seems to be more expressive than Iteru.

Also, I'm worried about Iteru. He's gotten sick a few times, stomach aches and a small fever once or twice.
I might take him in to see Nev if he shows any sickness again.

Oh! Christmas is coming up. Doctor nev said she had something for the twins. I'm kind of excited for them... Although she really doesn't need to get anything.

Anyways, I better get back to Christmas stuff!

Love,

I'm completely exhausted. Yes, perhaps it was stupid of me to bring home yet another child, but you can't blame me. I came across a store and found this abandoned child... I was offered to take him home. So I did. I named him Tallis.. I hope he gets along well with the twins.

The twins have been very well behaved- for babies, anyways. Perhaps I only say this because of the children Arafel and I have dealt with in the past... They're wild, all of our kids. Love 'em anyways.

Iteru has been acting very sickly as of late, and has been sleeping a lot more than what I think is normal... Arafel has mentioned bringing him to a doctor, and I believe that might be a good idea. I'm fairly worried... Futoeki seems wonderful, though. He's a curious, bright-eyed little guy with plenty of energy. The two get along fabulously, and hate being apart- atleast, Iteru fusses more when he's away from his brother. From what I've seen.

Christmas went well- the boy's first Christmas... It was a nice time. Calm, soothing... Almost perfect.

Perfection gives me a bad feeling. Something bad is going to happen. I can feel it.

The twins are definatly teething, much earlier than any normal baby. We're all assuming(Nev, Freize and I) that this is due to their canine blood.

Another thing that has brought... Their teething rings were utterely destroyed as soon as we gave it to them. The teeth were too sharp and poped holes or tore apart everything we passed to them.

We've had to go out and buy dog-chew toys. XD
They seem to enjoy them as well, though it earns odd looks. Atleast they're happy.

Iteru hasn't been feeling well again, we were invited to a new years party with the GMFC.
We met Saii and her twins. Toby and Crystal i think it was... They got along pretty well. The party was cut short however, when Iteru got a fever.

We'll be taking him to see Nev soon.

I hope there arn't any problems....

.:. New years .:.

Arafel
Arafel sighed, wheeling the two children through the crowd in their double-stroller. It had seemed a good idea to bring it, since everyone would likely be up til midnight and the twins would be asleep far before that.

Though the stroller was incredibly hard to wheel through the crowd. And Futoeki looked liek he was about to cry from being rammed into so many times.
Arafel shot a growl on instinct at the person who'd just bumped it. Bending down to pick the stroller from teh bottum, and hold it over ehr head to move the rest of the way towards the east wing in which the invitation had said to go.

A giggle of joy was given from the stroller above her, apparently the new position ceased all threats fo crying babies.

She was soon setting them down, and kneeling to unstrap the first who was more than eager to leave his confienment. This being shown with grabby hands.
She paused to glance back and make sure she hadn't lost her mate through the crowd.

Freize
Freize shuffled his way through the sea of people, hands jammed into his pockets and his head lowered. He occasionally shot a glance to a passerby or Arafel, but mostly he watched the floor, plodding along behind his mate and their litter silently.

Iteru was already napping blissfully in the stroller, thumb stuck in his mouth. His tail swished back and forth slowly, contently, and all was peaceful for him- for one, he didn't even notice his brother's dismay. It wasn't until someone rammed into the stroller harder than the others that he was awaked, his lower lip quivering and a whine leaving him. His tail tucked between his legs and he rubbed at his face, ears flattening back.

And then they were airborn, and his sleepy eyes widdened, a pleased squeal leaving him. He clapped his hands- an act he had grown fond of doing- before going quit once again and returning to thumb-sucking.

Afrter they arrived at his destination he watched as his brother demanded out and was allowed freedom, and then he whimpered and reached for his mother, wanting to be let out as well.

Freize, meanwhile, had gotten a little bit left behind, but he soon popped out from the crowd and entered, glancing around whilst moving to stand beside Arafel and the pups. He still kept silent- he wasn't very talkative in huge, public areas like this.

Arafel
Arafel smiled as the other child reached for her. She stood quickly, passing the first boy onto Freize who had just poped out of the crowd. Quite thankful for the timing.
Then bent down to retreive the other, cradling him and giving a light nuzzle to the small boy.

She snapped out of her "aw my baby" distraction, glancing around the area. No one she knew yet... "I guess we're early?"

Futoeki blinked as he was passed on, staring for a moment before grinning, a bit of drool trickling down his chin. His tail wagged as he reached at his fathers face for no reason other than random babyADD.

Freize
Freize cradled the boy he was handed and smiled down at him, "Hey there..." A thumb hooked up to wipe away the drool. He made a face at the baby and then lowered his head slightly so the hands could reach. He put his forehead to the smaller one for a few seconds before pulling back slightly, ears twitching. One hand moved now to tickle at the baby's stomach.

Iteru giggled as he was picked up, kicking his feet before being cradled. He snuggled into his mother happily, tail wagging, hands moving to hold onto the sides of her head as she nuzzled him. "Bah!" And then he just let himself relax in the woman's arms, clapping his hands idly.

"Probably." The oldest of the males nodded, now taking time to glance around as well.

Arafel
Futoeki patted his hands on the males face, awkwardly grabbing at a lip before he was moved away. Darn! Missed.
Oh well he'd get it next time.
And then! The man was TICKLING HIM. The boy let out a squeal and a giggle, squirming and kicking happilly.

Arafel grinned, attempting to push the stroller out of the way, then settling down to the floor, setting Iteru in her lap, supporting him with her legs in a way only a resorceful mother could. Then passing the boy one of his plushies.

Freize
"Aah!" Iteru squealed happily as the plush was handed to him, and he promptly stuck its arm in his mouth. He tilted his head back slightly, grinning at the woman and reaching up towards her face with grabby hands, as if wanting something. Who knows what he actually wanted- after all, he was a baby. He let the plush fall free and gurgled, looking back down towards it and hitting it once. Then he picked it up and gasped as if suddenly it changed and waved it around, showing it to his mom. Who knows what he was actually thinking about.

Freize chuckled and continued tickling the baby for a little bit before kissing his forehead and going to sit beside Arafel. He also set the pup in his lap, sitting cross-legged, keeping the baby supported by having the little guy's back against his stomach. "Look, it's mommy and Iteru, let's go play with them." Sure, he didn't understand, but Freize could talk to him and sound like an idiot anyways!

Arafel
Arafel smiled, laughing softly at the boys actions. Who knew what he was doing but, it was cute anyways. So who cared?
"What's that?" she asked about the plush, even though she knew quite well and she just handed to him. Parents were allways idiots.

Futoeki grinned, eyes closing a bit for the kiss, then opening up to stare brightly as he was set down. Wait, where'd dad go?!
He awkwardly tried to look back as freize spoke. Oh, phew there he was! Geez. Dissapereing like that. How rude.

The boy grinned anyways, sure he had no idea what he was aying. But he was being spoken to! yay! "Brrbb!" he made an odd noise and a laugh in responce, glancing to his sibling and the toy. Dear god what was that?
The baby's eyes widened in curioisity.

Freize
"OHH." The baby gasped and continued waving the toy, eyes wide. "OHH." He repeated that noise, holding it up towards his mom's face. He didn't really notice he was being talked to at first, but he caught on near the end and he grinned at her. "Bbbaaaa!"

He noticed his brother and father moving over soon enough, and he giggled and waved the toy at his brother. "Bbbbaaa!"

Freize grabbed another plushie and moved it infront of the baby, moving it as if it were walking before handing it to him. "You want one like your brother?" He smiled slightly.

Saii
A brightly clad young woman stumbles into the room, holding two bundles in her arms. Her bright blue eyes were glowing from the New Year's festivities, her face flushed with excitement as she surveyed the room, searching for any familiar faces, though she had seen none during the evening. Saii spied two people here though, and decided to stay and chat.

Setting the two "bundles" and a few toys down, Saii slumped onto a chair and looked for someone to talk to while keeping a close watch on her heavily dressed children.

Arafel
"Is that so?" The were-elf chuckled a bit. Glancing to freize with onea of those how cute looks.

Futoeki grinned, grabbing at the plush, and giving a noise to his brother as he awkwardly held it up. Flinching when it managed to bump his own face. "AAaaBaa!"
He paused, as new people came. Ears perking as he made some curious a** and bass, and other noises. Squirming to try and make his way over to them.
Unlike his parents all new smells and sights were curious to him, expecially other people.

Freize
Iteru beamed, "Bbbbaaa!" He blinked as his brother looked away, ears wriggling, but he took little notice to the other people. He didn't really seem to care, he just went to gnawing on the arm of the plush and wriggling his toes, tail wagging merrily behind him.

Freize offered Arafel a smile before the boy started trying to move, and he looked down curiously. He took the little fellow into his arms and looked to where he was looking, "Oh, want to go say hello?" He moved to a stand and wandered on over to the new woman- he wasn't social, but for his kid he would pretend to be. "Ah, um.. Hello."

Saii
"Hello! Happy New Years." Saii smiled warmly at him and at the boy in his arms. "Is that your son?"

Tobias and Crystal immediately started crawling towards the toys, each grabbing their favorite before getting lost in their own little world. Tobias however, with his keen eye, noticed movement making it's way towards him. He began to crawl towards Futoeki, dragging his toy lion with him.

Arafel
Futoeki's tail wagged as he was carreid over, wiggling just a bit impatiently as he held onto the plushie.
He gave a glance back at his twin, giving a light whine when he apparently wasn't coming with them... Then his attention was drawn to the other. He stared curiously, giving a tiny greeting of baby gibberish.

Arafel watched a moment to make sure Freize would be okay, content with playing with Iteru.
She gave a light tug to the plushie's arm, a very soft one-Like you would with a puppy, just enough to grab attention.

She'd probably join the two in a second, either freize would need her or Iteru would need his twin.

Freize
Freize managed a small smile, happy that he had recieved a warm welcome, "Ah, happy new years... Yes, this is Futoeki. My other son is over there." He motioned with his head towards Arafel. He looked down towards the two on the floor and suddenly any hint of his antisocial personality that there was disapeared- it often did with kids. "Oh, and those are your's?" He chuckled softly, lowering down into a kneel and setting down his baby infront of him so that he could see the other child better.

Iteru jumped a bit as the toy was tugged and then grinned, giving an almost canine-like growl, tail wagging happy. He tugged at the toy while she still had it, much like a puppy ready for a game of tug of war. He continued playing for a few moments before he let go of the toy and began coughing, one hand moving up to rub at his eyes as if he were suddenly exhausted again.

Saii
Tobias stared back, curiosity dancing in his eyes. Plopping into a sitting position, he clung to the lion plushie, not saying anything. He /was/ a baby with few words. Crystal on the otherhand was merely observing them from afar, content playing with her favorite toy alone.

Her eyes immediately went to the child near Arafel. "Your son is adorable. You must be proud to be his father. And yes, they are," Saii smiled more broadly this time, no doubt that she took pride in them. "This one's Crystal Falcon, and the boy over there with the lion plushie is Tobias Falcon, but we like to call him Toby.

Arafel
Futoeki stared a moment longer, before giving a little bounce and flailing his own plushie as if to show it off.

Arafel watched him a moment, before frowning with concern when the boy started coughing. She immedialty gave a pat to his back. Hoping he hadn't choked on the toy in some way...
There was no signs of that though. Tired maybe? Hn. Worry shone through as she felt the baby's forehead.

Freize
Freize smiled warmly, "I am. I love these kids..." He looked to her children, "I must say the same about you. You must be really proud..." He chuckled at Futoeki's behavior, watching the babies thoughtfully. "They look pretty healthy, too."

Iteru coughed again before settling a bit- he was warmer to the touch than he was before, but not dangerously hot. He smiled sleepily up at his mother and put his hands over her's on his forehead, tail swaying slowly. He suddenly felt really... Tired... "Ahn..." He frowned. He was starting not to feel good. That meant he needed Futoeki. He turned to look for his brother and then reached in his direction with grabby hands, as if trying to grab him somehow. He whined softly.

Saii
Tobias blinked, taken aback by the sudden display of movement. Understanding the intention, he propped his large plushie in front of him, showing off a little as well. He gave a toothy smile, clapping his hands together as if to get the other baby's attention before pressing a paw on the lion, causing the color around the plushie's neck to start sparkling. He almost seemed to be grinning smugly, as if to say, beat that!

"Haha, well hopefully they'll grow up to be big and strong. I think little Toby caught a cold a month ago." Saii shook her head. "That was a ...rather difficult thing to get through. But I think it's all worth it in the end." She smiled fondly at Crystal, who was gazing at them with her large doe-like eyes as if she knew they were talking about her.

Arafel
Arafel smiled softly, scouping the child back into a cradling position. With a soft comforting nuzzle, she moved to bring him to his brother as he seemed to want. "Don't get sick again, kay?" she whispered to the boy.

Futoeki stared in awe at the other boy's plush. Dear god it sparkled.. better than himself too! "Haa!!" he looked back to his father, then to the plushie. Still quite amazed.

Indeed, he couldn't beat it.

Freize
Freize smiled at his son, ruffling the little weremutt's hair affectionately. "Yeah, look at that."

Iteru giggle softly and patted his mother's face as she nuzzled him, but soon his attention was back on his brother. "Aaaah!" He squealed as they finally reached them, still reaching for his brother, ears wriggling.

Freize looked up towards Arafel, "Hey there.." He moved to take Iteru from her and set him on the ground by his brother.

The baby weremutt grinned happily after being reunited with his brother, tail wagging.

Saii
He smiled for a bit more before motioning for the other child, as if allowing him to play with it too. Afterall, sharing was caring!

Crystal, drawn to the other children, started moving cautiously towards them, quite wary of the new faces, except her brother. "Ablugphth" She gurgled, in some sort of greeting to them.

Arafel
Futoeki blinked as his brother came to him. Aha! this was much better than the plushies "Aa." he stated, awkwardly patting at his brother. Motor skills were something he still desired...

He looked to the other child, giving some sort of responce noise. Why? cause he could! "Pffbbb"

Arafel smiled at the two, leaning into her "mate" of sorts. Then looking to their company "Aa.. Happy new years." She smiled, tail giving a tiny wag. Her eyes slowly making their way back down to their pups, still a bit worried about Iteru.

((Then Freize poofed on us and I wrote in my mind that iteru got a bit sicker so they had to go home and get some meds to rid the feven adn make an appointment for him. O: ))

A love of nature

Arafel sighed as the gentle breeze swept across her face. The only noises around as she walked through the park consisted of bird's melodies, the rustling of the new leaves as spring warned of it's coming. Accompanied by the faintest of squeaks from the wheels of her double-stroller.

The woman perked as another sound joined in, the light noises of a toddler awakening from his nap. A wide grin pulled itself across her face as she stooped over the little stroller-canopy, careful not to tip the whole stroller on accident.
As usual it was the darker twin, Futoeki. Iteru still showed signs of his illness.. whatever that was. And as usual was sound asleep.

Futoeki fell back as he head a noise above him, tilting his head as far as it would go. His ears perked curiously before he reconized the figure, "Aa!" he exclaimed gleefully, smacking his hands together before reaching up at the figure known as mom.

Arafel smiled, reaching a hand down, that was immediatly latched onto by both smaller hands, and wiggling her fingers under the boys chin. Her responce was a joyous giggle, and the kicking of feet.
She moved her hand, the squirming replaced with another curious look.... as though to say 'why'd you r hand go away?'

They were both thrown from their thoughts as a leaf on a mission flew straight into the boy's lap.
Futoeki blinked at it. "Bvaa?" Giving it a few pokes he carefully grasped the little leaf, grinning with a sudden accomplishment, hoisting it high into the air to show his mother above him. "aa?"

"Hm?" she carefully took the vibraintly colored leaf from the boy. Looking form it back to his expression she smiled " It's a leaf."
"Veee?" He tried to repeat
"fff." she finished for him. She pulled back, ready to simply discard the object before abruptly interupted by a loud whine. "UUuuuu!" She blinked, a bit startled by the actions. "Eh?" she peered back at the boy, whoum was making desperate grabby hands. "Well..." she looked to the leaf, gave ashrug and passed it to the boy. "I guess we can keep it. No harm in that, right?"

The boy bounced as the leaf was returned to him. Settling back in his part of the stroller contently.

Arafel gave a sigh, happy that had calmed him down... Worst thing was a baby whining and you couldn't figure out why.

She started her walk again, ready to go around hte curve and head back home. Taking her time in doing so ofcourse... She still loved the outdoors. And the twins seemed to feel the same.
Futoeki even had a love for a leaf, how much more in love with outdoors could you get?
((OOC note: This is originally from me eden's journal, but I thought it needed to go here. X3 ))

I recently aquired an "eden" from the eden project. It's like Freize's child, Eva, just.. still a leaf unlike Eva.

However, i write about it here because it initially came to me though a stroke of "fate" as one might call it, by falling atop my little toddler Futoeki.

If it hadn't been for him I might have simply discarded the soul, leaving it to who knows what... Instead, Futoeki insisted in his own baby-manor that we kept it. (Meaning he started crying everytime I went to drop it)

Either way, even if Freize may be a bi tunhappy over the whole.. "new mouth to feed more money" I'm a bit excited. Maybe I can take up another job...

Oh well... My thanks to Futoeki. <3 Iteru seems curious too, might be because his brothers all fasinated with the leaf, or "vee" as he calls it.

Today I potted my Eden leaf. I had the twins and Colette help me, it was cute having colette instruct me on how to pot a plant.. Or.. leaf in this case.

Iteru and Futoeki helped me pat down the dirt, luckally for me i had thought ahead and laid out a towel. As expected the two tossed more dirt than patting it, but it was fun anyways.

I haven't written in awhile, i feel sort of bad... But with the sudden dissaperance of Freize I haven't felt much energy with anything. He likes to handle things on his own, I know.... but I hope he knows I'm there for him, like he is for me.
Still, if he wants to be on his own i can accept that... And I'll be here when he gets back.
I'm trying to stay positive, i know he'd get mad at me if I let it get to me. XD I still miss him though, nothing could stop that.
Things will get better... Even if it is his curse, theres allways cures. Right? I mean.. we made sure Iteru and Futoeki were okay...

Anyhoo. This journals about the kids, right? The twins are doing well, other than Iteru's tired spells... I do hope it's not something serious.

Oh and Ilori, the leaf i was talking about, turned into a snake child... Although Futoeki kind of misses his "vee" he also likes curling up with the new sibling. So all is well.

Iteru and Futoeki miss him too. They'll get fussy on occassion, but they seem to calm down when i pass on the plushies that resemble him.

The night was still, the near-silent sounds of the house's mother padding across the hallways mixed with the occassional whirr of air conditioning were the only noises that echoed in the house. The routine check-in on all the children was in progress... everyone was tucked in, safe and sound. Now only she was left.
Arafel gave a yawn, hand reaching for her... well, Freize's bedroom door. She let out a small sigh, but the normal click of the doornob twisting soon had another noise join in. She blinked, looking back towards the familiar room. "Futoeki?" the blinked, questioning the faint wailing as she headed back towards the room.

She opened the twin's door slowly, peeking her head in. Surely enough, the little boy was grasping the side of his crib, a few tears staining his face. His crying quickly shifted into tiny sniffles at the sight of his mother, his hand leaving the crib's bar to reach for her the other staying to keep balance.
Arafel smiled, moving into the room carefully, mindful of various scattered toys. She carefully scouped the toddler into her arms, eyes locked moreso on his twin, who seemed to still be asleep, still he looked a tad restless. "Shh..." Arafel cooed, resting Futoeki on her hip. She brushed her fingers across Iteru's forehead. With Iteru more relaxed, she shuffled back out of their room.

With pouty toddler in arms Arafel returned to the room she had previously been heading to. The door was still cracked open, so a simple tap of her foot and the door swung open. She moved to the all too empty bed, sitting down and shifting the mutt to a more comfortable cradling position. "Whats the matter sweety?" she cooed, shifting the boy in a soft rocking motion.
"Nnn..." he whined, lip curling into a shape even closer to an upside down u than it had been before.
Arafel smiled a bit, though it wasn't good the pouting was quite cute... The perfect example of what one would call the puppy-dog face. But on the same token, it tugged at her heart. "Your stomach hurt?"
"Aaa.." he shook his head left and right.
"Hungry?"
"Aa." He shook his head no again, looking a bit frustrated.
Arafel sighed a bit. Atleast he knew the head motions, it was a much better process than trying every trick in the book and finding nothing as she did when he was a baby.
"Daa." He seemed to repeat, his head falling to the side while he strained to see the oposite side of the bed he knew he was on. "Da...!"
Arafel followed his gaze to the oposite side of the bed, the aas and daas finally clicking.
"Daadeee..." the boy finally struggled out, turning his head back to stare up at Arafel as though she could poof the man into existance again but was holding out.

Arafel shook her head "Daddy's not here." Futoeki frowned a bit more "Daddee..." he repeated, as though it would help. Arafel went to say it again, until her tired mind caught up with what was going on. A word... A full word! Her look brightened "Did you say.. daddy?"
Futoeki's expression turned to annoyance. Why was she smiling? He wanted daddy! "Daadeeee!" What a crazy woman, smiling at a time like this.
Arafel shook her head, "Your first word..." she smiled, lifting the boy. At first he gave her a look of confusion, before bursting into giggles as a loud "PFFFF" erupted into the air, Arafel blowing on the little boy's stomach. "Cheer up!" she smiled, taking in a deep breath the little boy giggling fading out into a soft smile. "He'll be back, i promise... And just wait! He'll be so happy... Your first word." she turned to set the boy on the middle the king sized bed. "Don't move sweety..."

Futoeki watched her leave in confusion... The toddler-fit seeming to vanish with the tickling. And without his pouting, the effects of jsut how late it was started to hit him. He gave a wide yawn, eyes dropping and almost nodding off as soon as she had gone.
Arafel returned before that happend, a slightly befuddled little white haired boy in her arms.
She shifted herself back into the bed, pulling the two boys to rest one in the crook of each arm confident if they moved she would wake up- Afterall both her and freize were insanly light sleepers. "Goodnight..." she leaned to the left, placing a soft kiss on Futoeki's forehead. His hand rose up sleepily to paw at her face in responce, then dropped abruptly as he fell into dreamland. She repeated her action to the right side, a soft kiss on Iteru's forehead, who responded with a tiny content sigh and cuddled closer to her.

And soon, the three were cuddled up contently wandering off to dreamland.

Late lastnight one of our little bundles said their first word. Sure they'd made noises, thigns that were near words but none were fully pronounced, so they never counted.

Futoeki's first word was "Daddy" The two do sure seem to miss him. I hadn't quite realized it yet but since their birth we hadn't really been apart for too long.

I wonder what Freize'll say when he finds out...

Happy Father's Day....
User Image

Dawn peeked through the lighting of the lonley room, laying it's gift of light apon the three sleeping figures. Arafel was first to stirr as the light hit her eyelids, fading her dreams away. She let out a low whine as she was pulled away... For the first time in years she was unhappy to wake up. The cold pain enveloped her heart after so many years... The feeling alone made her want to never stirr again.

But... Two sleepy toddlers followed in her actions, eyes fluttering open with tiny whines and whimpers. Arafel's look softened towards the two in her arms, she felt her lip quiver and her throat grow tense. A tiny smile pulled at her lips as the two sleepy gazes met hers. She gently placed a kiss on each forehead speaking in a shaky voice "I love you..." The toddlers smiled at the words they reconized, they knew they meant good things by now... And were even more happy when Arafel's tiny smile pulled into a full out grin as they pawed and played with her hair and face.

Carefully she began the process of getting up andmoving to the bathroom to prepare for the day, placing the two tots on the floor where they would be protected by various baby-proofings.

She stared at her reflection a moment, finding it hard to do much of anything... If it weren't for all the children in the house she probably would have given up ages ago. "Happy father's day..." she muttered to her reflection, taking a moment to let her eyes fall shut and imagine the warm feeling of her mate coming to her side. To place an arm around her waist, the feel of his skin and breath against her face as he nuzzled her good morning... Then the sounds of him happilly playing with he children. Their giggles mixing with his soft chuckles...

The fantasy snapped as a noise reached her ears. A creak... one she hadn't heard in awhile. A cold chill enveloped her heart as the noise was reconized to be the front door opening... Could it be? Her heart raced, the hairbrush in her hand dropped with a clatter into the sink, as she turned to bolt down the halls. Freize? Could it...? Please....!

As she turned the corner she could feel her heart shatter and fall into the pit of her stomach. Instead of her beloved mate she was met with the chilling eyes of Hatori... Several bags of groceries hanging from his arms. It was unlike him normally, but on the sidelines he had been helping out here and there as unnoticed as possible.
She stood there, a bit frozen... Her mind running around the thought of how stupid she had been to get her hopes up. She saw Hatori flinch, possibly one of the only people in the house aware of her situation... "I'm sorry." he muttered, slipping past her to get on with buisness.

Arafel was left there, staring at the door much as one of the children stared at the window. Eyebrows furrowing, as if she looked at the door long enough and sad enough the man she wanted back so much would just walk through it.

That didn't happen though. Already she could hear the twins upstairs getting fussy... Taking a deep breath in she quickly whiped at her eyes, and hurried back to them. Atleast in as much of a hurry you can be when you don't feel like moving.

As she returned into the bathroom where she had left them the two rejoiced, allready having pulled apart much of a torlett paper roll. Arafel gave them a half hearted smile You can't be upset... You have to make sure they're happy. Her mind coaxed her as she carefully began to clean up the little mess.

"Fatha..."

A little voice broke the silence. Arafel turned slowly, it was close.. but it wasn't Futoeki's voice. And Futoeki had been saying daddy not father... Arafel felt her heart freeze over again. "What was that...?" she quibbled
"Fatha..." the voice seemed just as sad, as though maybe he had been hoping the same of the opening door that Arafel was.

Arafel flinched... He missed both of them. The first words.. and they were both of him. Where are you!? she felt her mind scream out uselessly to the man... Her teeth clenched as tears welled up in her eyes. StopStopStop her mind failed as she reached foreward to grab the children into a hug, a few tiny whimpered sobs making it through her clenched teeth. She felt her chest jerk a bit as she tried to hold it back... Tryign to nuzzle the two pups.

They returned the hug in their own toddler fasion... both somewhat confused at what was going on, and yet enjoying the tight embrace.

It was ended in a few moments, the silent tears stopped all at once. Shoving the thoughts into the back of her mind as she fell quiet, pulling the two children away to look at both of their faces. The children cocked their head to the side curiously, Arafel smiled slightly "How about some breakfast...?" The two grinned and nodded, yay for food!

Arafel nodded, resting each on a hip and moving towards the kitchen to get to work. Something seemed different about her though.

I guess I should be happy, both Iteru and Futoeki have now both said their first words... and it seems as though the dam has broken for Futoeki. He's rapidly picking up new words, and learning to combine the occassional ones. I'm helping him fix up his pronunciations, and Iteru is following behind with a few less words... but he also seems to be less of a talker, so that wasn't unexpected.

They miss freize alot... You can tell, their first words were both related to him. They look at me so expectantly... As if I could bring him back somehow but I'm holding out on them. I only wish I could... This isn't like him, I fear... something may have happend.

Please return him to me us safely...
