Arch the Angel Diruak again blocked the gargoyle with his shield, bringing his sword chopping down on it. MP:8 Shield's LP:40 Arch glanced up, seeing Ruby, a pause coming to his breath. "Ruby..." Diruak saw them both, and quickly cast Magic Bubble over Arch. "Do not look directly in her eyes, Protector. She is not the woman you once knew." The gargoyle collapsed into dust under the sword. (0) The last gargoyle followed with another attack on Diruak the claws of his good arm swinging. Scarlett still focused on the angel's gaze, but the grey eyes darkened to black as the protective spell was cast over Arch. She pouted and tipped her chin, "You're wrecking my fun, Diruak, typical." She blew a kiss at Arch, "don't worry, sugar, we'll still have our fun."

Diruak allowed the creature to slam into him, steadying himself by imbedding a few of his wings into the ground. He brought his sword up and swung at the gargoyle with the pommel before addressing Scarlett.
"Your fun is over, demoness. I will not..."
"Shuht theh fhuchk uhp, yeh gohrahm flashlaihgt!" Arch yelled at him, turning to Scarlett. "Yehr gonnah geht ahwta Ruby raight fhuckihn propeh, lehs ah goh ahn rihp yeh ah nehw ahs'ohle ah cahn draihve the buhs ihn." His grip on his sword tightened, his wings flaring outwards.

Arch the Angel Diruak allowed the creature to slam into him, steadying himself by imbedding a few of his wings into the ground. He brought his sword up and swung at the gargoyle with the pommel before addressing Scarlett. "Your fun is over, demoness. I will not..." "Shuht theh fhuchk uhp, yeh gohrahm flashlaihgt!" Arch yelled at him, turning to Scarlett. "Yehr gonnah geht ahwta Ruby raight fhuckihn propeh, lehs ah goh ahn rihp yeh ah nehw ahs'ohle ah cahn draihve the buhs ihn." His grip on his sword tightened, his wings flaring outwards. The second gargoyle fell into dust as the pommel struck down. (0) Scarlett shook her head, "you're both so full of threats." She reached out her arm and a long length of blood formed into a blade in her hand. "And sorry to dissapoint you, lover, but you can't take the blood out of Ruby, and I'm part of the blood."

"And you can't defeat me without killing her, are either of you prepared to make that sacrifice?" Scarlet smirked, and with a swing of the blood sword sent large red spikes flying in Diruak's direction. "And if her death doesn't make you balk from the idea, don't forget about the book."

As much as Arch hated to do it, he had no other option. He needed time to think of a way to free Ruby, but time wasn't on his side. With nothing else left before him, he rushed her, wings back.

Diruak gritted his teeth as he charged after her, swinging his sword down. As much as Arch hated to do it, he had no other option. He needed time to think of a way to free Ruby, but time wasn't on his side. With nothing else left before him, he rushed her, wings back. Scarlett's form rippled in the moonlight and dissapeared, only to reform perched on the overhang on the second story of the castle, her feet swining freely in the air. "And this is your plan? slicing and dicing? Here I thought your type dealt more with rituals, and dull magics." She snapped her fingers and a line of red birds formed. They're black beady eyes stared down on the angels, from their perches on the overhang. Within three heartbeats they all dived, swarming in different directions as their sharp beaks opened for attack on the angels. (20 birds, 1 LP each, 2 damage each.) (10 4 11 50)

Diruak gave a smug grin. He raised his sword to the birds.
"If it be a battle of sorceries you wish, then you shall have it." He declared, a glowing orb appearing amidst the birds, and detonating.
((lesse. It normally deals 10 damage, but in the case of additional targets, it is dealt evenly amongst them, and adds 5 damage to the pot. While this would normally be an insignificant number, such as adding five damage if it were two people, causing them to lose 7 instead of 5 each [rounding down], in this instance, it deals the initial ten, plus 95 damage, which means it does 5.25 damage to all the birds, thus killing them all.))
Diruak, being extremely pleased with the effect of his spell, decided to shoot a collumn of light at Scarlett.

Arch took flight, soaring around the collumn of light, and racing up to where Scarlett was, hoping to beat the beam. He didn't want to hurt her, he wanted to try and reach her. He knew she had pushed back at Scarlett before, maybe he could help her do it all the way.

The beam continued, as did Arch, though the beam moved a considerable deal faster than him.

((Umm.... I know what Scarlett's powers are, but what the hell are the numbers? I can't figure out what they each coincide with.
And He's off killing the one chick, leave this fight be. Besides, if he were to come back and find Scarlett defeated, he'd prolly be happy. At least, until Tyrael smote his a**))
Arch cursed under his breath. He wasn't getting anywhere with this flying around s**t.
Diruak took the sword to the back, leaving a blemish upon his armor. He spun about, swinging his sword down at her, while one of his wings flew at her violently.
((The wings just count as a standard melle attack))
Arch blinked behind Ruby, swinging at her with both wings.
